Check out the Protech Pro-Strider SnG! Based on the iconic, Strider SnG the Protech is a made in the USA, button lock automatic of the same design. The 154cm blade is going to have a good blend of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, toughness, and ease of sharpening. This is a great EDC use steel. The 3/4 saber grind gives plenty of strength to the blade while the height of the blade still allows for a fine, slicing edge.
The handles are made from super tough 7075 aluminum as befitting a knife bearing the Strider name and has a 'Super Grip' texture that is similar to the texture of the G10 seen on flat handled SnGs. The Super Grip aluminum feels very grippy in the hand while having a less abrasive quality than coarse G10. Protech's button lock automatic action is strong, smooth and reliable and the quality of this production automatic is peerless. Check it out now at GPKnives.com.

I love this knife and will soon own one. I had to get the actual strider sng first! In Florida you can own this knife no problem. But if you want to carry it you need to have a CCW permit. Can carry a machine gun but they are leary of a knife with a 3.5 inch blade. sheesh! Knife laws in Florida are seriously haphazard.

Yeah, knife laws are pretty wacky here but it could be worse. Could be UK knife laws! The Pro-Striders are really nice. If you like the regular SnG you'll like this.

Are these knives still in production? Though Strider is no more?

They are still in production and Strider still exists they are just changing as a company and re-branding to reflect this change.

Lock up is rock solid. Tolerances are nice and tight.

FYI, the pocket clip is titanium.

@@Gpknives Protech's website says titanium. I also put a magnet on mine and it does not stick. I think it's titanium.

@@knives2my497 You are correct. This particular Pro-Strider does have a ti clip while others (i.e. PT) have stainless steel.
