DIY Louis Vuitton Cowboy Wallet! (Part 1)
For our 100,000 subscriber special project, we decided to make a DIY cowboy wallet out of an old Louis Vuitton bag! Louis Vuitton fabric is fairly similar to leather when you work with it, so it makes a good DIY project if the Louis Vuitton piece is beyond repair. We're making a western style cowboy wallet, and in part one we work on the exterior of the wallet.
We start by having the Louis Vuitton reclaimed material cemented to a backing of vegetable tanned leather. A western style detail is cut by hand and saddle stitched onto the Louis Vuitton wallet exterior. Then we make a snap strap, hand stitch that with nylon threads from Japan, and attach it to the front of our Louis Vuitton wallet. In part two, we will make the interior of the DIY Louis Vuitton Cowboy Wallet, and stitch the whole thing together!
Thank you SO MUCH for following us on this journey. It's crazy to have grown to 100,000 subscribers in such a short amount of time - we're so thrilled to have you joining us every week for our videos :) Хобби
Love that you don't talk and just let us hear the tools and leather working. Sorry it took me just a week ago to see your channel randomly but subbed now. Keep up your awesome work.
I would really prefer more talking. This trend of video production in silence is so boring, I believe it is due to the widescale autismisation of the US population. Humans who cannot tolerate human communication, where are we, where are we headed?
@@alphanumeric1529 no.
alpha numeric or people just find this really relaxing? sorry bud but i can promise you only a very small portion of the people that subscribe and watch this actually go out and recreate this stuff. people are just fascinated by the sounds of leatherwork and enjoy the calm videos. youre the problem in the US. people that are overly hostile and start shit on the internet for no reason what so ever.

Love the ideas of repurposed leathers giving them yet another life❤️ lots of crafts are becoming lost art and the only way a good craftsman learns is by learning from another master. Beautiful hand work🌹
Luckily I stumbled upon your video. Big Wow . Very professional. Thanks for sharing.
Your videos are always a special treat to my soul!!
Oh how exciting! This is going to be gorgeous! I love the repurposing aspect of this and then, of course, because it’s you you make it even better than the original! I’ve meant to mention this before but the snaps and conchos with your logo is just bad a$$!

The craftsmanship, The attention to detail ... Everything 😁. I'm a customer in 2020 for sure!
this is so sick i cant believe youve reached 100k i love the quality content and im a fan of the hints of supreme like the shot glasses and the stickers on the red tool box esque thing keep up the great work
Thanks so much dude, means a lot! We started selling our stuff on SuperFuture and Hypebeast forums back in 07/08, been a long ride since then for sure
The moment when grandma realizes her vintage LV pursue is missing😳
Lol.
It's good that he found way to recycle an unwanted old raggedy LV. Personally, lv and others out there is way overpriced. Sometimes I wonder why folks are willing to give up their one month of hard-earned salary for one bag when they can get 10 well constructed leather bags. After all, all leather bags are made from the skin of a dead animals.
It's sad, my sister is one of the brand name bimbo🤔
Kh'merican KitchenGarden people that aren’t making at least 6 figures salary shouldn’t buy LV
If it’s 20% of your monthly salary why not but when you spend the money of 1 or 2 months of earning just to flex it’s sad

This is a fine example of sustainable repurposable luxury fashion ... I Live 👌🏾 🤲🏾 🖤💜💙🤎🖤 !

I very much enjoy when you work with LV canvas. You’ve earned my subscription. Please be so kind as to toss in an occasional LV canvas video-even Gucci canvas videos would be pleasing.
Alex But she only had the one bag.

He did an amazing job and is incredibly talented and skilled. However I do wish he had repaired and restored the LV Alma instead because that was a classic vintage piece.
Thank YOU!! )))
I am impressed.
Congrats : congratulations : bsaha: mashalah: for more to Come,,😍. God bless.
👏👏👏 parabéns pelos 100000 e pela bela reciclagem...! 😉
Everything that you've made are excellent. I'mworried about the legality of branding that is mentioned on the channel. I hope that you'll never be harassed by the brand.
Kh'merican KitchenGarden Because this is a previously owned item, he is allowed to do whatever he likes with something that he owns. I worked for several of big fashion houses, one of which was Prada and I attended many legal meetings where discussed legal strategy against Chinatown knock-off manufactures. These folks were ok to make knock-offs as long as they didn't use actual logos. So, designs were ok as long as they didn't say "Prada" but unfortunately, many did say Prada. Now, they were free to use the logos if it came from something they owned, like in this case and they didn't sell it. He's not selling this LV wallet I believe so he is free to do whatever he likes with his owned product. If he sells this, then he has a legal issue.
@@RumbleFish69
Thank you kindly for the information. It's good to know.
@@khmericankitchenseeds8776 My pleasure! :)
@@RumbleFish69 Even if he sold it, why would it be an issue? He owned the original and repurposed it. People resell used designer handbags all day. If it's advertised as repurposed, redesigned, or designed with lv materials and not as an authentic product or original mfg design, should not be an issue correct?
@@PrettyMissAshley OK, selling an item that one owns is ok under certain conditions. For instance, if you want to sell a Gucci handbag that you own on Craigslist, eBay, Etsy, LetGo, whatever platform, you can do that. It's your bag and you can do whatever you want with it. However, with limitations....if you take that same bag apart, and use the leather to make something else while allowing the logos to stay intact, this is where it becomes an issue. Mostly because you're now treading into protected design areas and that's where companies are protected most along with their logos. Repurposing an item with a copy and patent protected logo and company insignia is simply no different than creating a knock-off. When you take an old bag and redesign it allowing the logos to remain, it now becomes a new, however, misrepresented bag! You are now selling something that the company, no matter what the company, has never created. Look, I am sure any person can bang these out by the dozens and never get caught. My comment is simply dissecting this from a legal and permissible standpoint. Hopefully that helped to clarify.
It's Beautiful
Congratulations 😻👍🏼
Amazing!
great, you are best.
Ottimo lavoro tutto fatto a mano. Bellissimo veramente 👌👍😃
And he's back with another whammy. WEll done great vid, well dissected. FYI plagiary is a form of flattery :)

Congrats! :)
I do not speak English) But still I really want to thank you for your work) After watching your videos, I also began to engage in skin. The level is certainly not the one that you have, but I have everything in front! Thank you again😊😊
Сергей Мальцев Well sir or misses; you are speaking English! And you are well at it!
That's a nice hobby
beautiful
Beautifully done, but it’s not everyone that has all these tools, I honestly have the skills and would love to copy this, but no tools...thumbs up👍🏻great video and wallet 👍🏻
Excellent video. Please tell me if the bag was made of leather? Thank you
The way the knife scrapes on that LV stuff makes me think this is the first quality item theyve been involved in.
thanks could probably make it for my mom in the future
Awesome work...where do you get your concho snaps made...again love your channel I’ve been meaning to add one of your wallets to my collection
Watching this was like watching bob ross, well done.

Really very good professional MashaAllaah
You really are amazing
I think you should have the camera angled more from up above so we can see better
ASMR 😭❤️
WHAT IS THIS RMSA THING?
"I skin only the finest of LV purses"
I agree with Elmars...VERY nice to see the Crimson Hides back in action. I love mine. Patiently waiting for the "you killed another LV bag..." blah blah blah comment😉
Great, as usual. What is the secret to your hand stitching? What type of needle do you use? I’ve tried hand stitching but have a LOT of trouble getting it through the leather. I know I should order Weaver’s diamond chisels...
Good design, choice of material, and craftsmanship..
..add some threadlock on that screw, just one thing.
Thanks
Always nice work! What diamond chisel point punches do you use? I'm looking for better ones.
How is it working with the lv canvas ? Is it thick ?
Exquisite craftsmanship. Enjoyable to watch. *If only you had centered the LV logos on the monogram canvas properly.* That would’ve been *amazing.*
Well that is better than lv itself. You are above lv class men.
Bold. Nante to decomposhi
Tearing the high Louis Vuittonbag
Дякую за ваші відео!)
Ooooo lovely! I want to make something similar for my mom’s bday! Do you know where I can find just lv scraps perhaps?? As opposed to a bag lol
Crimson Irons? Size? thanks for the answer)
Ahhh .. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle .. at its finest! No one wants to carry a tattered, stained LV bag, lining torn, maybe a zip not working .. water stains on the bottom .. why not rework it into something lovely? Good job, I think so anyway .. now where is that old Coach bag of mine?
