This showed up in my feed out of nowhere. Was amazing to watch - how skilled he is! I don’t particularly care for the Louis Vuitton monogram leather look nor did I like the color combination with black, but the way he transformed this old bag and the level of detail and craftsmanship of his work .. it is truly superb. Wondering how much experience he must have. Very impressive!

This was absolutely riveting! It was so fascinating to watch because I was expecting a simple restoration not a complete re imagining!
This is so gratifying to watch even though my jaws clinched when you cut the bag. I have the same bag in the same condition. I had a cobbler replace the handle and clean it. Just like new aside from the inside, but that's to be expected with such a vintage bag. Nearly as old as me. Well done! I would much rather spend money to have someone do this as opposed to purchasing new bags left and right. This is an experience....... art......not snobbery.

You are the best part of my day no matter what day I decide to watch. Amazing work per usual. I love that you kept in the side panels that didn't work and mentioned how sometimes the old way is better. I sew my bags in the Mall of America, in store and i often want to try new ways but the old ways works just fine and I've had to learn not to fix what isn't broken. Bravo.

That LV bag was obviously WELL loved. Even if it tricked you into fixing it, with that box it was delivered in! Man, your talent and end results honestly bring tears to my eyes. What we are missing in the world today, true craftsmanship! BTW what is "LB?" And where'd you get that cute Starbucks baby food jar? Oh yes, black clothes ROCK!!! (have a bunch myself!)

I came across your page this morning and all I can say is Wow! I'm truly amazed at your craftsmanship in how you transformed that bag. Now I'm going to subscribe to your channel and watch your videos as I sip my morning tea.
My first thought seeing you taking the scissors to that battered old Speedy was ....”Noooo!” thinking about my old one in the cupboard! But then I became transfixed by the skill and precision of your work, it is an absolute joy to watch and the finished pieces are beautiful.

I always wonder if reforming a bag and changing the design is imitation or not?
And It surprised me how easily you cut the leather. All my life I thought LV leather didn't cut easily.

Nothing hard to cut when you use the right tool.
He can't brand his creation as a Louis Vuitton, but if he clearly states that this a salvage with an original design, nothing prevents him to fix his own price. Unless the design is stolen, then that would be problematic, but I don't think this is the case.

Generally i a not a fan of the Louis Vuitton logo pattern, but the way you broke it up with the gorgeous deep black leather was fantastic. This set is my favorite thing i have ever seen with that pattern.
Both pieces are functional, but beautiful and could easily be sold in an LV store.

Do it yourself. I did a few and I even style my old clothes to different styles. Very fun work with lots rewarding

I have 2 of these bags in the same condition as the video. 1 is a handbag and the other is a overnight bag. I would love to have these pieces restored or re crafted. I bet the cost is huge
I had this size LV, and I cut it up. I make costume jewellery, and I created a pendant with a fringed drop, made with finely cut strips of the bag. It lasted about an hour after I put it on a local website. I use lots of different bags for the same purpose. Once they become used for a while, they are a marked, but are still useful.😄
Maybe you should make videos of. Your work too. I'd love to watch that. I'd be your first subscriber.

I've never posted a video, (wouldn't have a clue how to)🙂 I can however show you the fringed 'pendant' that I made for my bag, and what I make them from. If you'd like to create a throwaway email address, I could send photos. And as well, I could show you the wonderful supplies that I make my jewellery with, which is not cheap beaded jewellery. I actually bought thousands of dollars of lovely costume jewellery, and took it all apart to make one off pieces. 🙂
