If you need a little more pipe exposed to glue on a threaded cleanout you can easily peel out the short piece of pipe out of that fitting using heatgun and a screw driver. I had to do "redo" a few fittings on my pond build and have used this technique a bunch when fixing leaks on my 20 yo hot tub. This video is about PVC but I'm assuming ABS would work the same way. ruclips.net/video/9LU9OiPLKmo/видео.html
Glad to hear it worked for you. I've never tried it, but I'm going to give it a shot. Interested to see how well new pipe will weld to existing fitting after removing old.
Well, I have some leaks. So Im going to deal with those first, and then we'll probably start with some minnows or whatever the local vector control recommends for mosquito control. And then move up from there. About a 1,000 Pacific Tree Frogs have already moved in, though.

Yes, it's a sanitary tee with a friction-fitting test plug on the end which allows me to add water to the suction line to prime it since the pump sits above water level. Don't recommend the test plug, though. Going to redo it with a threaded cap.
You did a great job thanks for sharing God bless you always have a beautiful day
Thanks for all the info, and what you would improve on
5:18 a non return check valve at the beginning of the bog
You need a check valve instead of a ball valve, or a check valve ahead of the ball valve.
Thanks Matt. Do you mean upstream or downstream of the ball valve?
Check valve???
