I paid for street parking twice based on their original dates, and they assure me that they'll reimburse me but haven't done so. Every time I call they say they'll follow up in email but they never have.

From what I saw from the pictures it wouldn't take more than a day or two for a contractor to shore up that roof and make it at least safe to work under

It’s a PIA, but the only secure option for a residential move is to D.I.Y. Rent the truck, hire local labor & drive it yourself, and NEVER leave the truck overnight if you need a hotel, sleep in the truck if you have to. I know more more than one family (and a couple bands too) who lost everything when their rental truck was stolen while overnighting in a hotel. It sucks, but no one will protect you but you.
PODS is the worst. Their customer service is a joke. There’s a huge difference between what customer service says and what happens on the ground. If anyone’s interested in writing a class-action letter to corporate, count me in.
Seems like A huge safety issue. They cant put anyone back in the facility until that roof gets repaired. Hopefully they get it fixed soon so people get their stuff.
Somebody from I Pods Corporate needs to get with the city and city engineers to come up with a safe temporary fix so the boxes can be moved to an area where the CUSTOMER can get to them.
