  • Video Review of my flight on Thai Airways from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai via Bangkok.
I was visiting my home town - Mumbai after three years due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. Join me in taking a look at Thai Airways' on board product and service in the post pandemic era.

Thank you for letting me come with you on your flight home. Surely the joy of your family and friends was very great to take you back into your arms after such a long time. I wish you and your loved ones good luck and all the best in the new year and hope to see more beautiful videos of you. I'm really looking forward to it. Greetings from Thailand.

Thank you for your honest review. You have been optimistic and generous about other flying experiences so it lends credibility to what you have to say about Thai on this occasion. This is as I am thinking about flying with them from KL to Bangkok sometime in the future (or Malaysia Airlines depending on further reviews). I am struggling between this and Malaysia Airlines business class (which is $60 cheaper but only offers reclining seats in narrow-body aircraft). In relation to that, did you have status with Thai to let you use Plaza Premium?

Thank you for your comments. I think you’re better off flying on Thai Airways as they always deploy a wide body - mostly a 787 Dreamliner on the KUL route these days. In my experience, the food quality on Thai is better than Malaysia Airlines. I had a CC that allowed me access to the Plaza Premium lounge but I do have status on Star Alliance as well.

@@VimanPhotography that’s a unique perspective. I’ve asked around and may of them have been encouraging me to use Malaysia Airlines. Unfortunately one of the flights I’ve been eyeing was downgraded to a 777.
