My concept of the passing of time is such that I rarely notice what week it is and so am always just happy when I see a new video from you. Love the wagon, my husband has one to carry his photography gear to shoots, am now wondering whether I could get away with making something similar. 😁
Terrific idea. I use a wagon too. I’ve always not liked the look of hauling myself and my event items (all looking period) in a modern wagon. Not sure why I didn’t think of this and I sure appreciate that you did. Now to copy you but in Trimarian colors. Vivat! And thank you for all that you do. You are appreciated.

This is such a fabulous little trick to add some extra aesthetic joy!!! I’m already plotting!! My friend was talking about how you could make the cover look like a little Viking Longship!!! And paint the shields on the side ❤️❤️
We do RenFaire and we used to have a wooden cart but time and termites have made it nigh unusable. Neither my spouse or I do woodwork so a cover for our modern cart is a great idea.
Awesome! Corporate logos deserve to be hidden/removed whenever possible - regardless of era. They put them there in hopes we'll show them off, but only the rarest few companies do the work to be truly admirable (or even not harmful) and create a product so good as to deserve any recognition whatsoever. Customize anything, whenever the mood strikes, and plant beauty!
Ingenious (and to my mind essential) work around for the 'getting older and not so nimble/strong any longer' problem we all face (reluctantly). Also good for parents and children.
That is such a fun and useful way to make your wagon blend in more. I wanna get one myself and this will sure be a project I will undertake. Great idea and beautifully done.

Even working from home I can't imagine getting both an item and a video about said item done every two weeks, let alone going back in office. Taking care of you comes first.

Eeeheehee, you're making me remember when I used to stack my three bags of armour into an IKEA bag on a skateboard. Very medieval. Everyone knows this. I kinda feel like you made barding for your pack animal :)

The wagon 'barding' is a great idea! I actually like the panels you ended up with better than trying to fully line the wagon (easier to launder, easier to fix or replace--all wins). I'd rather see tri-weekly or monthly videos from a happier Elen than fortnightly videos from an Elen who is visibly crispy around the edges.
@@OpusElenae Something else I thought of! It would be easy to do 1 or 2 panels in a different colour for that fancy two toned look. For instance, a black panel with yellow printing/stencilling for the back of the wagon for a faux countercharged look.
A number of my favorite creators have backed off on the number of videos they’re putting out. You can only run so fast for so long. Better to have a little more time between videos and still have the great quality you present.
I'm glad you're feeling okay. Even "minor" surgery is such rough stuff. I got my gallbladder out earlier this year and it was a minor out patient procedure that laid me out at home for at least two weeks.❤

On some level it bothers me that people have the need to apologize for taking a mental health break. We shouldn't have to make any excuses for no content. Happy people make better videos. We should all take time for ourselves without the "sorry I can't keep you entertained" bulls!#&.

The wagon cover is adorable, and I mean this in the best possible way: It reminds me of the Lego horses I had as a kid.

And they’re so heavy, compared to a modern one of the same size! They do look so pretty though.
It’s far better to rest and take care of yourself so that you can do the cool projects. We’re just along for the ride.
