Best 2022 improvement was getting me to start doing a daily 3S with my team at a completely different company 😂 It’s been a real help getting everyone aware of the 8 wastes and having them look for ways to make things better every day.
Would you ever consider/have you ever thought about adding RFID chips to the Kanban Cards (maybe printing on key cards?)? If you put a sensor in the corresponding slot for the card you could trigger a number of automations, beyond turning an indicator light on an off. Hypothetically you could get all sorts of useful metrics and data about time between processes etc or trigger digital processes/automations (send emails, create orders, etc etc)
Absolutely love it - An idea for an improvement to your colour coding taken from from the board gaming world - colour blind employees in the future may struggle discerning between the various colours, so perhaps a shape as well? So a Purple Dot becomes a Purple Dot with a Pentagon in it, a Yellow Dot becomes a Yellow Dot with a Triangle in etc etc. Just an idea - may not be worth the effort but thought I’d contribute in the name of giving a little back for all the ideas I’ve taken from you guys!

I once did a diagram for a journal paper that I was writing and I obviously only used colors and dots do differenciate between the datas, and my professor told me to use different shapes as well, in case someone views the paper in black and white. So overall great idea.
@aft We passed this along to our graphics team and they loved the idea. They will work on getting this created and added to the machines. Thank you for the great improvement idea!

with the printer clips 3d print some sliders to guide the paper card past the levers so they dont catch
