I am addicted to masterclass series, so inspiring and fun
- Have you ever played without your glasses?
- Yeah.
- What do you see?
- No one, which is helpful.
Please, Mr. Zander, never stop doing this. You truly are inspiring and a refreshing voice.
My daughter just started preparing this piece. She will take a look at this video for sure
Amazing teacher Mr. Zander, I wish I could be his student. I barely found him but I became addict to these master classes.Beatiful videos. Thanks for sharing.
I've been watching so many of these classes and enjoying each and every one of them. And I have to say, Dina is indeed a wonderful musician. Magic is clearly happening in these classes!
I'm currently working on this piece, and this is most helpful!
"that's our job, to lighten up the faces..." Zander's vision of musicians as entertainers.
This man is amazing. I love watching this masterclass. I wish so much I'd finished my music degree and that Id had a professor as passionate as he.
Benjamin Zander projects so much enthusiasm to the students that I believe they pick up on this and project not only a better performance music wise but over all showmanship. Others words they convey the emotional mood of the piece. Like he says their not only musicians but actors as well, overcoming any outside problems and focusing strictly on the piece they are performing. I like the directed movement of the violinist towards different people in the audience, projecting eye contact, bringing the listen closer to the performer, giving them the feeling the violinist is playing directly to them! I call this showmanship!
I would give everything in my life as a cost to set down for some minutes with benjamin zander, he is a real human being and a real artist, and has this sense of mastery over passions and the world of music. Such a huge huge gift
"This is what has to happen to make our art come alive", Benjamin Zander.
These are some of the best master classes I have seen. Very inspiring!
what a pleasure. Every second is worth.
Dina's playing is truly superb
Benjamin Zander is so Great, I'm enamoured of his way to connect with everybody at the sessions; Ben Zander manages a smart and natural cathexis. He is a magistral psychologist too! Sorry, but it is what he gives, and I'm plenty of his lovely feelings and temper from every class. Though I'm a little depressed, I learn from him and it helps me to be better. Thank you Professor Zander, wish you all the best that God can give you!!!
i cant stop smiling while watching this video
Thank you so much for these master classes. They are like presents. :-)

There are some of us who can actually close our eyes and enjoy the playing of these remarkable performers, even if they don't dance or smile.
very inspiring video
I love Dena playing, she extremely good piano and well dressed means respects the music very pretty
He made him smile! - after minute 14 !
Imagine an interpretation class in rock. My god. Either you got or you don't.
Dina's introduction remind me of Britten's for Rostropovitch
The young man plays exquisitely.
5:34 hehehehehe
Could you actually pretend you are having a good time? - Just pretend...
0:59 "sem a sua, sem a sua, sem a sua companhia"
KKƘKKKKKKKKKK É MESMO
22:43, haha...someone I know relates to that one...oh yeah...you don't feel as shy if you don't see anybody, so he would take off his glasses , on occasion...
which edition do you guys advice to follow?
In terms of playing it? The Barenreiter
Un poco de marcación a los compases., Más valor a las notas para sentir una obra con más vitalidad...más vida..
Poor guy ... he looks like a wooden log without feelings. Playing Schubert requires life experience, deep feelings, children can't relive this music, so they can't play it. Zander is very, very good.
