Cool ! Bryan is a local now: he knows to expect rain when driving close to Curepipe :) This train line has been mulled since I was a kid. Hope to see it connected to Mahebourg/ Airport soon.
The logical thing is to extent the line to connect the airport to grand baie...but we'll see

This couple know Mauritius better than many locals now! Like it or not, the light rail or metro as some call it, is a great achievement really. We hope someday we will be able to connect the Airport to Grand Bay and Flic en flac to Flacq!

Great video I used to catch the train at Beaubassin to go to Royal college in Portlouis Then the Government sold the Railway line to South Africa or Israel I believe
I think they did sell most of it to South Africa

@@Baru_boy part of Mauritius metro is on ground & also newly inaugurated elevated section. It's like tram but uses Metro coaches. This seems only used in Mauritius. Actually it is very clever, cost effective transit solution.
