Conservative “unity” usually means “here's your invitation to capitulate to conservative demands”. It's a veiled threat, not well-intentioned bridge building.

I wonder how Doug Wilson can be so oblivious. The creed (Nicene or otherwise) is not something all Christians subscribe, e.g. The Orthodox Church*. And lot of non-denominational Christians do not see the more established churches to be really Christian.
