Can't wait to hear this amp on a new Fredrik Special Defects album one day!!!! It really sounds great. Kind of reminds me of the guitar tone on the first Mr Bungle album which I think was a "Marshall JMP?" This amp sound even more intense though.
when you switch the pickups from neck to bridge and it goes from clean to distorted. is that just a low volume on the neck and full volume on the bridge? its like witch craft haha

@@andtuningforall4957 It sounds soooo good, I've never heard of them before. I used to have Celestion Greenbacks in my Mesa oversize cab and it sounded pretty similar. People today are sleeping on greenbacks

Yes! It’s just low volume on the neck pickup. I’ve spent years on making my distortion circuits to be extremely dynamic.

In theory yes, but it’s hard to get room for the additional preamp circuitry (with a good layout) in a small box Marshall.
