Salut Tasty, nice video as usual. Could this OS engine (or any other engine) be mounted on the MP10 readyset without having to mod the engine support block that comes with the kyosho chassis?
Hello, if you want to install it in a rtr kit you will probably need to replace the engine mount. Rtr engine mounts are higher, this will allow clearance for the pullstart. You need the kyosho Race kit engine mount or the flywheel wont make contact with the bumpbox
Thank you 👍 I havent tried it yet but from what I see.. yes it's worth those extra 25€ Better sleeve design, higher numbers, improved cooling head and can be upgraded with the Speed series parts
I'm more interested in customizing a basic, low cost engine like this than in many complete engines. They are very expensive, so I feel it's meaningful to have a cheaper engine close to the same specs.
That engine is looking really good. Basic, but definitely a good upgrade from the xrb. Good timing numbers. Could be 10 degrees more on the open, but pretty sure this is gonna perform really good. Think these are good race engines. Actually thinking why we spend a lot of money on the high end engines. Maybe you are better of (price wise) with a couple of these engines. Altough they probably won't last 60L like my fx 301. Anyway, great vid again my friend 👊
Thank you Kings Unless you are a very serious racer, Im sure this engine will make you happy, you will get at least 90% performance of a high end OS for sure but yes I agree It wont last as long as a nice dlc engine. Rex said that the steel used by OS is soft and will wear quicker but the price of the complete engine is probably lower than a ad3 or b2104 Rebuild price
Bonjour. Just found your channel a few days ago and watched a lot of your videos and I really love it. Good job on sharing all your know-how and details on all the technial stuff. I just got into nitro cars with an MP9 tki4. I found the nitro motor HP claims unrealistic high, so I build a inertia chassis dyno to check it out. So far the stock MP9 motor makes 0,364 rear wheel HP. I ordered the O.S. B21 motor today and will dyno is as well and compare. If you are interested, I can make the fang mod to the cylinder sleeve and crank and dyno after, to see what power the mods make. Greetings from Denmark
Hej 👋 Thank you! I really appreciate. That is crazy! There are so many comparison possibilities with a dyno, My friend @kings-racing bought a dyno but sadly it's not working as expected, I wont get into details, I dont want to spoil. So your dyno works on 2 wheels, I think that you need to block at least the center diff to make it accurate otherwise the diffs settings will influence the results. Your thoughts?
@@TastyBRC Yes you are correct. I have locked up the center diff. and removed front drive shaft when doing dyno. I have spend a lot of time dyno with different roller size inertia, software and manual math calculations. I am confident that the hp results are true. But still the are wheel power. So mabye add 30-40% drivetrain loss like on cars to get the motor crank hp. But still a long ways from the 2hp ish claim :-)
@@kristianmadsen1397 awsome, I would like to see that! Add me on mssger 🙏 Yes we are far from the claimed 2+ hp .. And even if you cant measure the drivetrain loss, it will be interesting to compare different engines and before/after modds Im not a kyosho expert, is yours the rtr version with a ke21 engine? If so the b21 will easily outperform that engine.
@@TastyBRC This is really a great and powerfull engine. Is makes 1,06hp on motor where my ke21sp makes 0,79hp and it revs much higher so you get higher top speed as a bonus
Hard to say! I tried both carbs but on different engines, to make a fair comparison i would have to try them both on the same engine. So cant really say about performance but they both tune great
Wow 😮 Looks like you get a lot more for your money on this one‼️ I bet this will be a big seller for OS Are you going to run it stock before you modify it? Would be good to compare the before and after - Thanks for another great engine Vid Tasty 🩷
Sure it will! Yes i will run it stock and Im planning to slightly modd it, nothing like I did with the Alpha, OS engines run so goog.. sure you know what Im talking about. Thanks for watching A2 👍
Thats a good looking entry level engine right there 👍 . Thank you for making this informative engine videos.
I really enjoy watching them.
Thanks for watching ! More coming up 😁
Awesome Tasty! Wooo. Therapy time. Thank you for sharing. I love OS engine. Thank you for Sharing the B21. 👍always on the way inn. 🔥🔥✌️💪🏼🤙
Thank you Crazy Dad 👍
Great teardown and review of this engine. Will be interesting to see how if performs compared to the XR-B. Either of these might be my next purchase
great info great video as always ❤
Thank you 👍 The XRB was a very pleasant surprise for the price, this one can only be better!
Salut Tasty,
Belle entrée de gamme de chez OS 👌
Vraiment hâte de le voir en action...
Merci à toi Hervé 👍
Great vid showing quality doesnt have to break the bank. I'm sure it will be a strong performer stock and modded. Keep up the good job bro💯🫡
Totally agree ! Thanks for stopping by Mr Chilly 👍

Nice new engine for my new SWorkZ S35-4 Evo 💪
Good choice!
Nice video!
The xrb v3 version is in some stores €25 cheaper than the new b21. Tell us your opinion, which of the two is worth more?
That is a good question. Here in Sweden I have even seen pricedifferences up to 50USD
Thank you 👍
I havent tried it yet but from what I see.. yes it's worth those extra 25€

You can get 2 of these for the price of a OS Speed and with some minor modds the max will be a very good race engine
Looks like a great engine for the price. I'm sure with some Tasty B mods it will be flying 😁
Dremel carnage coming up 😆
Yes my dude love a fresh os

tell me, which is better to buy, os max b21 or os xr-b?
B21!
What a nice engine to be the cheap one
A very basic engine but the quality is outstanding and I'm sure the performance will be as well ✌️
I might to pick one of these up to replace my Team Orion engine
I've never tried a Team Orion, I wish I did!!
Hi, does this engine make more power than the os Xz bv2?
I dont think so 🤔 this is a basic engine
Do you like the 22e carb better or the 21j?
Hard to say! I tried both carbs but on different engines, to make a fair comparison i would have to try them both on the same engine. So cant really say about performance but they both tune great
Thanks another question has the crank in the xrb held up ok? Did you replace rod after break in?
Everything is doing good. I dont replace the rod right after the break-in, i replace the stock conrod after 8 to 10L, always.
Can’t find this engine anywhere
I got mine from Behr mobile, Germany, cant find it anywhere else forbthe moment
Its called a fuel inlet "banjo"
Thank you Bret! Still need to improve my english 😁
@TastyBRC nah man you do better than most americans
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊. ไฟแอดพ์. ?
