Interesting, thank you for the content. Mike Glover has once made a video about CQB in which he mentioned that he fought many guys behind doors. I can link it in your reddit post if you like. Keep the good stuff coming !
I'd be interested in hearing if he was referring to FoF training, as that is common because there is no threat of actual death for the OPFOR or the Training Scenario specifically creates that scenario. I've never heard anyone say that it was something that they encountered even remotely regularly.
@@gungnirstrategic No, he said killed many guys behind doors. ruclips.net/video/BIz_DhJH7eg/видео.htmlsi=3au5-VSi0rWj52Zo&t=1259 (timestamped it for ya)
@@gungnirstrategic To be fair (I'm assuming) you are SWAT, so domestic suspects are more likely to behave differently and want to live as opposed to the kind of people Glover was fighting overseas, which was a different context. So when you say people won't hide behind doors this is accurate in a domestic SWAT call-out and reflects your life experience.
Interesting, from those I've heard speak on the topic he's an outlier. I've spoken and trained with many people from both military and LE who have said the exact opposite.
I am not SWAT. As for the GWOT, people hiding behind doors was still very rare. If one of those guys was serious about kamikazing himself, he isn't hiding behind a door; he's going to have an S-Vest or just rig the house. This became a serious issue during the GWOT which is why surround and call out also became heavily used during the GWOT.
Great technique with equally good explanation behind the thought process for the method. Fantastic content.
Glad you liked it!
These videos are great and no-nonense. Love them.
Thank you for watching
