I straight cried when he said he’s accommodated paraplegics and taken them on a ride! Dude that’s so sick, Terra Crew you’re fueling my desire to build
keepin it mechanic friendly is huge! if you can't fix it easily with available parts to get back in the dirt quick, then whats the point? Love the idea of running long straight tubes for simplicity and strength. Extra cab room is clutch. Taking notes from all these builds has been great, thank you
This Man has built one of the Sickest 'at-home' garage built, family friendly, disabled friendly Pre-Runners out there! Love all the brilliant add-ons and the size of this truck!
Just wondering why everyone builds rangers then puts an LS for power and a tiny ass cab.? Wouldn't it just make more sense to build a full size.? Or is it a fan boy Ford thing 🤔?
Great older video, this fella is on his own lvl.... Coolest build I've seen in a bit, well done. The attention to detail, to be able to share the exact experience is just magic. Salute
You guys are amazing for taking a people out for rides. And thanks for working in the industry with people that need help. Mad props!🤙🤟 My Uncle Joey, Joey Defilippis is a special ed teacher who helps with cerebral palsy and multiple different types of therapy. Good to give back to everyone!

Thanks for being a special needs teacher! I'm a retired HS Guidance Counselor and I was the regular ed representative for all the IEP's and AR's in our school. I loved my job!
Medical kit on the fuel cell, hmm, I would move it from there... but at least u got one, great truck man, im trying to do the same thing with the same truck haha... Ride Free Brotha 🤟
I don’t remember the gentleman’s name but dear lord please do a walk around of the 4 door ranger it’s just like every other ranger but factory 4 doors😅🤷🏻♂️
Absolutely love the Prerunner Ranger community, even though I went in a different direction with my 99. Grandpa gave me the truck for my first car, and now he's helping me swap in a 3.0 Ecoboost V6 from an MKZ to make a street/strip truck. Can't wait to get finished with it, so he can see his first perfomance build since his old Chevelle back in '79.
Super clean truck. 100% home made. Gotta love it. I appreciate the 'special ed' respect. I was Spec Ed and had a much bigger imagination than those who were not. Imagination is KEY in building a truck like this and mine. Got to have the vision to see how things fit together. Some people don't have this ability. Those who can't vision and build write a check for someone else to design and build it. Keep up the great coverage of the toys. Thanks Terra Crew.
I started drooling halfway through this presentation and never stopped. I truly cannot imagine owning and daily driving an ultra truck like this. And an LS-3 engine to boot. Simply AMAZING.
Damn that truck was truly purpose built! The ease of access of the items in the back and the dash easily pops out so he can access and unplug gauges. It was all methodically planned out that's awesome. I'm sure every other truck is built like that. But this is the first time learning about all that so I'm kinda amazed.
I keep seeing these and the disadvantage to HAVING a ranger and wanting to do this but can't annoys me. I am a broke ass college student who doesnt know how to work on cars and lives probably the farthest from the desert that I can be. But I would absolutely LOVE one of these trucks....maybe one day...but until then...Videos of awesome trucks I cant have!
By far my favorite episode of built to destroy. Truck is sick and well thought out. But I need to see the close up of the square body ranger with the explorer front clip. (Insert Dave Chapelle crack head meme)
Love these, super cool. Thanks for putting the time in doing these and also much respect to both of you guys. Probably don’t have to say on this channel but drivers move our world give them room!
Legit question, is it actually street legal to have the roll cage bars going down the center of the dash like that behind the windshield? I thought basically every state in the US has laws stating it's illegal to have anything between you and the windshield that could "obstruct your view"... They can even ticket you for having a little handicap placard hanging from your rear view mirror while driving, so I would think two large roll bars partially "blocking your view" down the center of the windshield would be illegal for street use 😕
I'm a tad late to the comments... by 3 years. Anyway, cool truck. That dude is chill as can be. You can tell he's never met someone that wasn't a friend instantly.
Do people build this shit on their own???? Or do they pay people to install and make this shit. Or how do you learn how? Is it actually difficult or can it be done and learned at home? Or where do people go to do advanced work?
That’s a beautiful build, from an engineer’s perspective and a revhead’s perspective. Great vid James and Devon has really got the gift of the gab. He’s clearly comfortable in front of a camera, speaks well, and his experience/expertise really shines through. I could listen to him talk cars for hours. Thanks so much James for the vid and thanks even more to Devon for building the coolest Ranger I’ve ever seen!👍
My previous post was before I’d seen Devon speak about taking people with special needs for a ride. I’m a mad car nut (have been all my life) and I spent about 10 years building, tuning and participating in club-level time attack and sprint events with some success. Unfortunately, I’ve had to stop participating due to the progress of a respiratory condition similar to Cystic Fibrosis. Giving disabled people (who live with constant restriction to their lives) an opportunity to escape and enjoy the freedom/exhilaration of blasting down a gnarly track at warp factor 9 is worth more than a fit and well person could possibly imagine. Devon - Your parents must be very proud of you with good cause. Again-Great vid James and all.
so i see more than a couple rangers here on your channel.... would you happen to kno from your experience checking out these rigs if you can build a truck like this with the 4wd model? i think the front end suspension and torsion arm setup is different on the 4x4 i have a 01 ranger xlt 4x4 and want to make it something special with what im working with... i would greatly appreciate any info you can throw my way... thanks.. -pete
Fantastic looking truck and the fact that you take people with disabilities out in it is wonderful . Living in the UK we don't have that many trophy trucks that are road legal as well as being off road capability.
@@RUclipsforcedmetochangemyname - Confederates fought the war mainly to protect a southern society of which slavery was an integral part. Sounds like you need a history lesson.
Good dude. I'm working on an air clutch for guys with disabilities to drift. I lost control of my left leg from a crushing accident at work. Couldn't drive my Nissan 4x4 or my air bagged 5 speed street truck or my Toyota Supra anymore.
Wonder if this guy drives a semi?
I straight cried when he said he’s accommodated paraplegics and taken them on a ride! Dude that’s so sick, Terra Crew you’re fueling my desire to build
dude right!!! such huge props to this guy
these vids are definitely awesome. learning alot through your channel 🤟🏼
😂 Shots fired with that “LQ” remark.
Kinda hurt lol
Does he drive a semi? 😆 I toss that in whenever I can too 👍🏻🚛
Love the fact he put so much thought into his truck. Really nice truck. 🤘🏾🇺🇸🦅

One day man I keep telling that myself and all my homies keep knocking me down nah I’m focused on myself and my goals!!!! ONE DAY 🤘🏽
One of the most thought out builds ever. Outstanding sir!
Drinking Game...... Take a drink every time he says “Bad Ass”.
or get it spicy and add when he says friggin or mentions he's a truck driver
Or take a drink every time the owner says. " Fricken. "

that steering column is so sick

You guys should make a video about how much these cost to build
three easy payments of all your life savings. lol
Depends on how stream you want to build it anywhere from 8000 to hundreds of thousands
LS?? You've ruined a ranger.
This video was soo purposeful
Great older video, this fella is on his own lvl.... Coolest build I've seen in a bit, well done. The attention to detail, to be able to share the exact experience is just magic. Salute
Love the build to destroy series! You guys are producing so much good stuff! The builds just keep on coming

Clean and functional build, fire bro!
This truck is insanely well thought out . I watched the video twice just to see the back half set up
What is this dudes Instagram?

That is one well-thought-out prerunner👿👿👿👿👿
Makes me want to do more work on my ranger 🤘
I need to buy this truck
Terra videos have taught me more in the past week than I already knew.
Really appreciate the garage builds.

Amazing!!!! Loving what you guys are doing!!
All these episodes make me want to devote all my money to a truck
Shifter location 10/10🤘🏻
I love the design concept of it. I'm building my f150 with similar purpose. I've gotten some great ideas from this one.
I'm a tad late to the comments... by 3 years. Anyway, cool truck. That dude is chill as can be. You can tell he's never met someone that wasn't a friend instantly.
I literally watched a dozen Ranger builds hoping someone was 6’6ish and fits in a Ranger.

Bad ass truck!! I'm building mine named her Black on Black Pearl!! Check me out if you get a chance!
That guy lives out where I live
Liquid bulk driver!? Does he drive for Airgas or praxair/linde!?
I’ve seen him in Honda valley
Ultra sick build and walk-thru, but why the police siren? 😆
Fantastic job. Love the forethought he put into it.
what do these guys do for a living
how tf have i lived near this dudes house and not seen his whips
Only in California does someone wear their hat over their ears... please end this phenomenon.
I thought it started because of street outlaws.

ls3 in a ford. not good that is why you keep crashing

Most awesome truck ever👍👍👍
This truck is stupid sick, one hell of a build.
I swear Terra Crew has single handedly sold me on building my 03 Ranger into a PreRunner.
Ls3 engine plus Ford gear ratio is a perfect mix to build a prerunner 💯💯💯💪
My buddy Eric made spindles too
Very inspiring build! Just got my class A trying to get into the trucking industry and finishing my prerunner industry
SICK 🤟🤟🤙🤙
The rollover story “... so then I’m in some ladies front yard..”
😂😂
This guy is awesome.
You guys would both like Trail Hero at Sand Hollow
Awesome ranger🤘🍻
How come we never see rams? Just dont make a good prerunner??
Dope.
Ya man, dig it
2:30 the fuck u doin in my RZR???

rebel flag hanging in the back ground on top of that a ls engine KKK

That dude is fucking awesome.
I got a drinking game: Take a drink every time some unimaginative knob shoves a crate LS into another Ford.
Things set up right.
Thank god its an extended cab not a single cab
