- This is how I squeeze all of my long, thick, curly hair under wigs! If you have more hair than me, make more cornrows so that they can continue to lay flat! I love natural hair but I also love to switch it up with wigs, next: blonde, red and something crazy!

I'm trying to get a wig on for cosplay but I think I just have a huge head
Make sure you buy wigs with a large cap. Some wigs only come in one size, but I'd do research to find bigger size caps.
Since I made this comment I cut off a foot of my hair and got an undercut which really helped, still have to braid it carefully though so it sits flat

Steampunk Nice! I can't tightly braid my hair to save my life. I want to get some corn rows in because it seems easier that way. Might find a salon to do it.

I'm cosplaying for comic con, All the cosplayers weren't showing me to how and working with my biracial hair is terrible, I'll see if this works but so far I can relate to the curly struggle
im biracial too and i have the same problem with my cosplay wigs.
Especially with short wigs, omg. when i wear my kokichi wig, it so easily falls off. I have tried wearing two wig caps, pinning my hair to the wig caps, if fine everything. so trust me, i feel your pain.

That is such a smart way to protect your hair from heat styling, cutting and colouring. I have long hair too and i thought it might be getting to long to hide but you showed me otherwise thank you. I wear wigs so i can have a bob cut with colour. I don't want to heat style, colour or cut my hair so i love wigs for that reason it lets me have the best a both worlds. Beautiful long natural hair and a cool straight bob cut with highlights. Awesome to have choices. Many people think if you have long hair you won't wear wigs but long hair takes hours of work especially naturally curly hair. The wig also helps me keep my grooming time to a minimum when i am busy, I don't always have an hour a day to detangle and style. Thanks Lana i'm no long worried about having to give up wigs due to my natural hair length and thickness.

I don’t have curly hair. Mine is straight with some wave. But I have incredibly thick hair and finally I have a way to get it under a wig this I feel is going to work amazing on most of not all hair textures that can be easily braided.

I did some what of the same thing, except with a French braid, and the back of the wig is bumped so it ends up showing the back of the wig cap that I have. Should I make the braids smaller?

I have very long hair, my hair stylist does a circular pattern on my braids as well.
I have short hair and I can't braid it. it still doesn't fit under my wig which is a size bigger than my head measurements.
