I first saw your video last year. I went out & bought two electric skillets like you have.... it is the best thing to use because you can set it at the right temperature. I love the way your family works together as a team 😀. These are also a Mexican Christmas tradition, except they are dipped in a cinnamon/sugar mixture....and they are called Bunuelos De Viento. In this mixture, they will store for at least a month, if you keep them in an airtight container. I just want to say thank you because I did learn quite a bit from you. Merry Christmas 2020.

sounds like as family gets bigger online sales at xmas can put in tins and ship... during pandemic some without jobs and at home would like xmas cookies already made. Or if ppl in hurry busy job,kid to sitter,harder to get supplies from different stores. more ppl getting online items.

I agree that it's great to get the whole family involved in such activities, BUT hot oil is extremely dangerous and accidents can happen - definitely not a project for kids!!! Kids can get involved with dusting the cookies with powder-sugar or drizzling some honey over them - just what your sister's doing!!!

i add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamon spice expensive but gives the extra flavor like tea flavoring that people like.
Im impressed with the kids and the whole family. The man is really aware when the children need a quick help.

you can use flavoring but we dont think dyes are safe to eat on the farm so we dont use them for sure=)
