Thanks Lavos for being such a considerate planet destroying alien that instead of destroying planet earth 22 year ago you are now sharing Chrono Trigger Orchestral music compilations on RUclips. ❤
The MostlyMiSinging a cappella cover of 'Wind Scene' brought me here. YT algorithm is spot on today. This music is absolutely beautiful..and I can't stop listening to 'Onward to Adventure.' Thank you..!
Played CT for the first time last year. It holds up. Kept a BSNES save state of it with Rainbow + the whole works, the game is a blast to play. Every JRPG fan should.
I don't know how i barely stumbled upon this since i breathe anything trigger/Cross but HOLY I'm so happy i found this!! This is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched my elder brother (7 years older than me) play this game when I was very young. I had little idea what they were doing back then, but the music stuck in my mind till now...thank you for bringing me back my precious childhood memories!
Buckle up Chrono we're heading to a DnD campaign! 8:34 Oo always gotta love some staccato trumpet fanfare, swelling fanfare, and a heavenly chorus! 14:07 That trumpet and flute are perfect for each other. 16:57 Holy crap this sounds legitimately like a scene from a movie, where peace is restored to the world or something. 25:13 Ohoho this sounds so mischievous. 33:17 I love that watery keyboard instrument that comes in. 38:52 I really like those bells. 45:27 Possibly the most epic intro I've heard for Frog's theme.

I kind of like what you have done here with your channel and videos. I am familiar with composers who cover video game osts, but albums like that are always hammy by default for me, can't help it, and I doubt I'm alone. This format kind of breaks up the monotony of a single vision for the soundtrack and offers a variety of thoughtfully arranged covers.
my favorite covers here have to be the ones by sam dillard, as they incorporate multiple themes from the game into one new-sounding piece. like seriously, how can you transition from guardia castle to memories of green almost seamlessly?
Hell yeah, I've been following Sam Dillard for years now. That man knows what he is doing. I'm about ready to give up on life as I know it, and just move far away from where I am. Perhaps ill start remixing VGM to keep whatever spirit I have left alive.
fun fact. Within my DnD group there is a Chrono trigger fan. His favorite character, and mine as well, is Frog AKA Glenn. So to surprise him I added Frog to our campaign. (Me)Dm: Suddenly you are jumped by two more enemies! However something slays them before you can get badly injured. It looks like a bipedal frog of some sort. However he also wears short black pants exposing his frog like legs, simple but effective shoulder armor, black cloth hand wraps, a tattered black cape, and a set of dark colored chain mail seems to be showing from below. On his back is a braced metal round shield. Melchior: *Putting himself together* "Might I ask your name? After all you are the warrior who saved us." Frog: "Frog shall suffice." Lara (Half elf cleric): "Am I the only one who's freaked out by the giant talking frog?" Frog: "Cursed once again by this form it seems. No matter. I must save the queen." post session the player freaked out and hoped we'd see frog again. They also asked what was with the changes. I smiled and replied "Who said there was more then ONE Frog in the multiverse?" He just smiled. Later on Frog returned now though as a paladin under the oath of loyalty, he became my DMPC.
That's absolutely awesome! Frog really is a fun character too, a great pick for inclusion. If you ever need a Chrono music mix to fit your sessions, just let me know! I'd be happy to cook up a "Chrono Trigger orchestral battle music" or a "Frog's theme orchestra mix" for you

Of course! It's a great deal for you and me both
Love that map. 600 A.D. was so awesome beginning to end. Lavos would have got to see it but those darn kids had to show up and ruin Magus's spell.
😂😂😂😂
Those meddling kids and their Frog!

Remember, Lavos is summoned by Magus…
Shame the majority of people can't even fathom or comprehend the magnificent beauty of such an arrangement.
