I’m a little scared now that influencers are posting about Abercrombie more, a lot of their items will sell out faster 😂 they make a pair of Traveler Track Pants that are just amazing. Super flattering with a seam down the front of the leg. They can be dressed up or down. I have them in a light blue color and black.

I always struggle finding a decent pair of jeans or pants, mostly because they never fit me or the quality is bad. Do you mind telling me what size do you wear in the pants you linked in the video? I feel like we have the same body type and I’m also a 28/29 in jeans but I just want to make sure that the pants I order will look as good as they look on you! ☺️

I’ve noticed that a lot of brands that you mention are very pricy but not necessarily good investments. They all use cheap synthetic materials like polyester, rayon, etc. that serve no purpose other than to make the brand a bigger profit. Price does not equate quality, and a lot of these newer instagram brands get away with overpricing things because their aesthetic appeals to people. I really like the pieces you recommend but I can’t bring my self to buy them when I read the materials and it’s basically plastic. Abercrombie has great jeans but they’re guilty of overpricing low quality clothes for women and go as far as titling things “wool blend” when there’s 0% wool. What’s worse is that if you go to the mens section they don’t use the same cheap synthetic materials and the items are priced the same or are sometimes even cheaper.
I totally agree that a lot of instagram brands are super overpriced but if I talk about it in these videos it’s because I personally love something about them & think they are worth it for me. Whether it is the way they fit my body, the cut, the length or the unique design. Even if at times a designer or a store uses subpar materials, If I find something that works for me and I can use for a long time, I don’t mind paying a bit more for it. I have synthetic material pieces in my closet that I’ve owned for many years, before I even knew what sustainable fabrics were and I still wear them. I’ve also had synthetic material pieces that barely lasted 2 weeks.. so I’ve slowly learned which pieces I should and shouldn’t buy in those materials. I’m not encouraging anyone to shop super trendy or to buy everything made up of synthetic materials, I try to shop sustainable when possible. However, I don’t think that every piece composed of synthetic materials is the same, so it’s a tricky one. As for Abercrombie, this is my first time shopping there since high school. I know that they aren’t a sustainable brand but when I tell you that I have tried almost every jean known to man and I REALLY like these, I’m not kidding. 😩 Materials are important, I definitely agree. Price does not equate quality, again, I agree.. but I think that as long as you are shopping with the intention of wearing something for a long time or if you find something unique about it that justifies your purchase, it can be worth it for you. It’s relative to the person. With all of this said, I completely understand why you don’t think it’s worth it. I just share what I'm loving and if I didn't think I was getting my money's worth, I wouldn't mention it. ❤️❤️

Abercrombie definitely rebranded themselves (thank god) that was my first job when I was 18 and back then in 2007 it was tons of colorful polo shirts and that big ass moose symbol on all their hoodies and shirts 😭 I’m glad they changed because I’m 32 and want classic simple staples in my wardrobe. I actually just got a deep red bag that is a shoulder bag and a crossbody from the brand Madewell ..it’s their Transport bag and I think it has the kind of room you’re looking for to put in your essentials without it being too stuffed. It’s originally $148 and I got it on sale for like $93.. you should check it out

They have stretch, so you can probably get away with sizing down. Some of the colors run differently so I would recommend getting 2 sizes (if you can) and return the one that didn't work out. I'm usually between a 28 or 29 in jeans & I got these in a 28.
