i'd love to hear more of your home-related recs in your next favorites. cleaning/organizing supplies, decor, all of it! as a newly moved out twenty-something, i can use all the recs i can get lol
A tip: if you use oil on the hair, put some conditioner on for 10-20min before you shampoo your hair, it will help the oil to come out without having to use a deep cleaning shampoo.
have you tried going longer without washing your hair? my hair texture is on the opposite end of the spectrum from yours lmao but i feel like it might retain more moisture and minimize the straw feeling if you only wash once or twice a week, making sure to deep condition every time & use a moisturizing leave in before sealing with the oil 🫶🏾
I wash it twice a week now, never more than that. I never use regular conditioner, always a hair mask. I think it might be the harder water here and the fact that I wasn’t using the right post-shower products for straightening my hair. When I leave it curly, I go in with the creams and leave-ins and it’s not as bad. I use to wash it once a week when I first started my curly hair journey a couple of years back and it worked for a while, my hair was so healthy and thriving, all of my texture came back and my hair grew but after a bit, I actually think that’s what created my scalp sensitivity😩 I find that when I do twice a week, my scalp is much happier. The dryness is also getting better now that I’m moisturizing properly and oiling the scalp. Maybe I’ll work my way back down to once a week but first I have to get my scalp back on track. 🤍🤍
@@Gemaryermus yesss i neglect my scalp ALL the time especially because i have short hair, but i feel like that's when it matters most 💀 best of luck in the journey!! i need to get back into moisturizing my scalp too 🥲
Kerastase products are great for dry hair, I would recommend also Shu Uemura essence absolue but the cream version, also expensive but great, I think the cream version (they also have just oil) is more nourishing.
i have the exact same hair and all the same extremely dry hair and sensitive sculp and the kerastase helps make a difference on my hair try their gold serum after you blow dry. so good.
I have see peole using the alba mist before their sunscreen, during the day and after the make up, so maybe you should try too. I have heard beautiful things about it 💖
What do you think about the TYMO straightener? I’ve seen it and it looks great, but I’m worried about hair breakage. I get a lot of it when I blow dry my hair.
I love the look of Oak and Fort (esp their wide leg pants) but they don't have plus sizes. I'm a size 16 so I can't shop any of Oak and Fort's pants. Do you have any recs for great wide leg slacks that come is bigger sizes?
I’ve never tried Halara but I’ve seen a bunch of ppl try on their trousers and they look so comfy and good. They offer bigger sizes. Not sure on quality though but they are affordable. Abercrombie curvy line has some nice trousers too! 🤍🤍🤍
I miss the vlogs that included food recipes and workouts! As a new mom looking for some inspiration with balancing wellness and motherhood 🫶🏻
They will be back soon. 🤍

Side note I DID order those IKEA shelves because they look too good for that price it's just not fair.
