Thanks and glad to hear it! Honestly I struggled with this one because it’s so much talking and no footage of building ect. The concrete base is nearly done and that video will be ready in 2 weeks. 😃

Do I need planning permission to lay a concrete slab down in my back garden, or only if it exceeds 15m2?

No, you don't need planning permission for a concrete slab. Unless you're in one of those 'protected areas' mentioned in this video... (Listed building, National Park ect)

Hi, i put planning permission on my big garden, had rejected due to to big size was 5m by10m. Meet all the regs garden size etc etc. why they not allow such a big building to be bild, wish to have big play room at the back detached. Thanks

Planning permission doesn’t always result in approval even if you meet all the building regs. That’s why it’s easier to make a smaller room that avoids the need to apply for permission.

@@sumeraybuilds or would it be better to do 2 small ones in regs one next to each other?🤣

Hey so I have been a subscriber for several months and I don’t know if I just haven’t noticed their presence before but in this video I got pulled out of it a few times throughout by what seemed to be AI art. I know it’s a hot debate and you are not the only woodworker on RUclips using them but there will be some like me who find using AI art really off putting, so much so to be a reason not to watch. One of the reason I watch Woodworking RUclips is to do with appreciating the craft of the maker, which AI art stands at the polar opposite of. Honestly the cases where I noticed what I thought was AI were just a distraction from the content of your video. I might be alone in feeling this way but leaning into AI art has led to me unsubscribing from other channels.

Sorry to hear that, I think I used two in total to illustrate a point. I generally don’t use them because I’m filming an actual thing I’m making. 👍
I’ll try to avoid them in the future!

@@sumeraybuilds it wasn’t a lot and it’s your videos so your choice to use. I am just one of the people who have fallen into that side of AI art debate due to the number of artists I follow across various social media. Like you said it was a couple of images, but those couple of images will likely turn off more people than it will turn on to your content.

@@sumeraybuilds personally I have no opinions about AI art but what I do hate is when you are watching a video and it cuts to some sort of unfunny comedic clip for a second, so many ppl do that and it's so unnecessary and music, why do they feel their video needs music playing anyway. The worst one for this is a channel I liked called "Make Something" the music is atrocious.
