2001 Network Q Rally of Great Britain

The final round of the WRC 2001 marked the end of BBC's coverage before the UK broadcast rights shifted to Channel 4 for the subsequent two years. It promised an exciting finish with both championships still up for grabs: in the drivers' championship, it was a four-way battle between McRae, Mäkinen, Burns, and Sainz, while in the manufacturers' championship, Peugeot and Ford were head-to-head. Tiff Needell and Mark James provided commentary for a rally filled with drama right up to the last stage, where a new World Champion was crowned.
