While the overall product design isnt great, what this shows to me is that airpods really do need an app. Between the horrendous way it updates, to needing to switch eq's (not to mention customizable eq settings), seeing battery levels or finding airpods. All the useful aspects of that airpods screen could all be done on an iphone but in one location vs different apps and setting toggles/locations. Like the airpods menu in ios settings still isnt all that coherent or useful in most circumstances.

I think the feature about finding the individual airpods could be the only helpful thing-but then again, that's something that they could just add to Find My in general since the feature they have right now doesn't work well at all. Or also adding a feature to locate both the individual airpods, as well as the airpods + case themselves from your phone

Isnt the airpods can control most of the settings or inteface? Nonsense to put screen. And most of the time.. airpod case would be just inside bag, pockets etc. which is not necessarily used most of the time. Why not just upgarde or improve the earphone hardware like better base, ANC, fast wireless charging, longer batterylife. If it can be done, put health monitoring sensors, brain waves, electrogram, mri. Ecg. Bp. Temperature anything about medical system would be best.

Nah, it'd be a bad idea to have any internal storage, because it would add unnecessary money to the Airpods. I think the least amount of money needs to go into the case. They already added the Find My feature updated with the U2 Chip (Ultra Wide Band Gen 2). If someone is a poor-y they can buy the Apple Watch SE, especially if they're taking their Airpods outside and WANT TO work out. There is no reason to spend any time/research/money on added things to the case, they need to add health sensors to the Airpods before anything else. Obviously besides that, if they can squeeze another driver in the headphones, or just increase the sound quality utilizing additional chips....both would be awesome. How they haven't figured out a way to transfer music from your phone to your Airpod Pros is beyond me...I thought they'd be able to do with the U2 chips or another chip used on the phones/iPads/Macbooks and the Airpod Pros. It would negate the Bluetooth for transferring the sound since lossless is impossible for hardware, but I fully believe they can do it with their own proprietary chips.
