trump won't build a real wall.... it will be a REALER BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIGGER WALL
We'll build a wall and make the sun pay for it! sound familiar? lol
Of course we can survive. Build a wall around the Earth and make the sun pay for it

or we will it can erupt at any time.
Liam Lockwood nobody is going to be alive when this happens humans will wipe all life on earth themselves by the 22nd century
Moa You're scaring me, I have really bad anxiety. My dad said it won't until many of years.
Within 100 million years, earth will most likely have had another mass extinction event anyway, so humans won't likely be here. Life WILL go on, but it will probably much different, just like how different it was 65 million years ago when dinos roamed the earth. Life always finds a way, just because we aren't part of it doesn't mean it's a bad thing though :)
The truth has been spoken!!!
Actually humans have been around for milions of years since Adam and Eve and life changed from paradise to hell on earth
I still prefer my old ideology: Better folow Jessus Christ and be all wrong than being right and be separated from Jesus
JosephKing75 CBP Jessus? Don't know who you are talking about but Jesus Christ is spelled only with one s... And I totally respect your perspective and everything. I just can't personally follow something that I feel I know to be incorrect. Again no hate. I want that to be clear.
Natalie Boulos Sorry,I am more used to say it Iisus Hristos in the romanian form than the english form, sorry for my little error.
this really made me physically sick because in billions of years everything will be gone. thats so weird and depressing to think about
The fact that humans went from flying a few feet above the ground to walking on the moon in less than 70 years says something about how long a billion years actually is when it comes to technology.
Within the last 100 years technology has expanded so much so if humans are still alive by the time this happens we will most likely be living on a different planet
but with no sun we will not survive so you will murder us
+TheMCPEGamer meh... I think 200 years at the least will be how long it takes for a suitable colony on Mars for example to appear. Thousands more for civilization to move to other star systems, ect. I mean at the current rate of space exploration technology expansion. I hope in the future funding is put more into AI. A computer that is smarter than a person that can make copys of itself and take humans and put them into another computer, or same one.
Haha bye bye modern or all religion.
seth chizmar we don't need funding in the ai unless you want to get killed by the ai
a lot top scientists warn for a singularity if we developed it too far
Here's an alternative to what exactly would happen in the future:
1. We discover methods of energy production/ways to open up wormholes that connect our planet and another Earth like planet.
2. We bend the space time fabric and pull the other point in space next to us and zap through and land on the other planet.
3. For centuries we stay there and ruin that planet as well before finding another planet to infect.
Lets take all the people on earth, and push them somewhere else!
hahahaha that patrick star reference xD

So basically, we have less than a billion years to terraform Mars, use it as a temporary base/failsafe, and then greatly endanger Earth with a giant asteroid. Fun. Good luck, future scientists.
Roberto Whyyoucare ikr! I mean, obviously a lot of people want to keep Earth but with this video and lots of comments I'm kinda convinced that we might not survive which is scary but hopefully we will have the technology to save Earth and everything on it! (Lol kinda dramatic😂)

Skyline R34 Nope.
@Nagito Komaeda 28939* also they’re named exo-planets
Given what we've achieved over the last thousand years (hell, even the last hundred years), I reckon it's fairly safe to assume people in a few million years' time will have the tech to solve this easily. Or by then we've wiped ourselves out anyway. Either way, not something we should worry about now =)
I totally agree...like when someone was born in 1900, he as a child rode around in a wagon pulled by horse... not even 70 years later he watched how we conquered the moon. That´s really incredible achievement and science is going faster and faster. I really see it in medicine as I am involved in that as my profession and own experience as patient where we were 10 years ago and what we can do now.
As it is true IF the human race is still around 1 mil years from now we would be more advanced, we would not be on earth, it id not plausible to believe we would not have blown ourselves up or used our available resources, i personally believe the human race is irresponsible yet advanced and as we continue to gain information its only a matter of time until a hitler 2.0 comes out and wipes out life on earth, hell we can already do that, north Korea (as scary as this is) could end life on earth in a time of maybe 2 weeks. This is a what if of corse, world powers would step in fast, i believe if that honestly happened the USA Russia and China would fight as allys for the first time ever, but hey maybe im wrong, maybe humans will learn freedom and peace, and we may find out a way to that with out a trigger or a big red button.
Chris Duncan While there's always the possibility of a Hitler 2.0 coming out and wiping the planet out, this probably isn't likely as wiping out the planet would also destroy everything they would have fought for... I'm not sure if anyone would be stupid enough to press this big red button, let alone someone with enough power to access it in the first place. What I would say is that in a million years this planet would be too screwed up to be habitable any more... We'd have to find a new planet by then =P
Chris Duncan North Korea can't wipe out life in two weeks. Even with infinite time, they aren't possible of that.
wolf7115 lol, wait you're not joking... oh uh, well, yes they can, any country that has the capibility to produce nuclear weapon has the potential to nock life out on earth.

Yay, its close. Kinda.

Wow just watched this and found out about Juno lol perfect timing
+Bruh we f%ckin up here Cuz same
I guess Juno is on Jupiter now, or close...
WHAT
+Cyber12 GMD apparently it'll be there around july
+Cyber12 GMD It will orbit Jupiter not go on it. (Essay alert).
Since Jupiter is much larger than Earth, it's gravity is stronger than earth. So then landing would be much harder, there would be more gravity resulting in higher landing speeds. And also it is very stormy on Jupiter, with strong wind. And also, if it was on the planet of Jupiter then it probably could barley move because it is being nearly crushed by Jupiter's gravity. I hope I didn't say anything wrong or I will feel stupid. Thanks for actually reading this.
Juno is already on Jupiter.
Cassie Irvan
Correction* as Crimson said it's not going to be on jupiter it will be orbiting it so you comment should be "Juno Is already orbiting Jupiter"

***** Im Getting Tingly....Bad Ting Are Gonna Happen mon...... *Pulls out shotgun*
If we want to keep Earth afloat, the easiest method would be to build giant boosters all around the equator. If each booster was to fire off for a period of 5 minutes at 6 pm within its' timezone , the perpendicular thrust would gradually increase earth's overall velocity, which would in turn increase Earth's orbit.
The thrust of each booster engine would not be enough to move Earth by much, but if we were to scatter, say, 6000 boosters (1 every 4-5 km or so), and each would fire off every 5 minutes with a strong enough force, we could in theory accelerate earth AND maintain its' rotation.
And theory it shall stay. Practically it is impossible due to Earth's mass versus fuel you have access to. But then again who knows about the future in couple million years from now they might have some super fuel/engines. Then again we wouldn't know because we are going to die in about 100 years. I'd say better to start thinking new planets to inhabit.
*earth has left the chat*
*humans left the chat*
Sun has joined the chat
Or you know, instead of taking the risk of accidentally extinguishing our selfs, we could move to a human habitable planet.
That's only if us humans aren't already extinct by then.
the nearest habitable planet is 12 light years away, that means it would take 81,000 years to get there and still might not even be completely safe as we might not be adapted to the conditions there, plus people on the space craft getting there would be adjusted to the conditions there xD
Yeah, it would take multiple generations of people to get there and re-inhabit a planet. I realize this 😆
But if travel at the speed of light, we could make it 😁
Kolby Benthin we could try to move to Mars because ppl are trying to make Mars like Earth
That's should be another thing

Asteroids will destroy life on earth in a few years
@Sothpawman: WTF
By 3000 we'll all be gone. So actually we have less than a few billion years to get out of Earth. In the meantime of, say, 1000 or so years, I'm just going to have to lift my head up from the computer. To appreciate my pillows while I can.
How do you know that we are all going to be gone by 3000?
No, in 3000 nothing happens, in 1,100,000,000 all the water in Earth will evaporate and life will cease to exist. Or a major asteroid will hit us in a few hundred thousand years. We should live into another star system. Our only choice and closest exoplanet is Proxima Centauri B.
Ok. Well.... once the Sun explodes, if we go to the outer reaches of our system, we will be freezed to death do to negative temperatures. I know geothermal methods may help but still, now what do we do? Please make a vid! Like if you agree!
Well, if we are still floating around our own solar system by the time the sun dies... then we have failed as the human race..
If we ARE stuck in our solar system... then we need liquid water.. Europa and Enceladus have this... ..Titan is the only moon with a dense atmosphere.., so it has some potential for something..?.. terraforming? These moons will be 'safe' from the blast zone of the sun, but when it goes, everything in our solar system will be bathed in all kinds of electromagnetic radiation so... it would probably be wise to be out of our system by then..
Vsauce has actually done an awesome video on this, you should check it out. :)

But he is not talking about YOUR subject.

+Ariyan Ahmed Right, because Jupiter is mainly made of gas, and under Jupiter's gravity, it would get crushed.
+Ariyan Ahmed July 5-6, actually.
+KirbyWarrior12 Because we know exactly how fast it is going. It's like that 5th grade math problem. If robbie cycles at 5km/hour, how long will it take for him to go 10 kilometers. That far in the future, if our children are still alive. Im sure everyone will have their own personal spaceship.
i would hope so, i would imagine we found a habitable planet by then and we can get there
That's about 2.8 billion years from now, we definitely would have built teleporters and found other universes. Such as Andromeda. We would have inhabited those.
Singularity and computing power is the only hope, but the lack of funding worries me.
Janis Zambars Look what we developed in ~200 years. All the great technology. Provided we don't kill ourselves through war or climate, I think in 2.8 billion years we will have found ways to deal with the sun's death. Hell maybe we find a way to boost her life, so we don't need to leave our wonderful earth at all.

have you ever heard the apocalipse? we gunna die somehow. dun worry about it now
It will probably be to do with a nuclear war or just an experiment that blows up the world or something
*****
Even though our race will certainly die at some point, we may still live long enough to come into contact with the problem of the sun's aging, as well as much more advanced space travel. Also, the only other extinct races to compare Humanity's eventual extinction to aren't sentient. We're different, and we have no way of knowing what that will mean for our fate.
We'd have spaceships by the time the sun dies.
1 we have spaceships already -.-
2 intergalactical transportation is highly unlikely for a long time untill we find a way to travel the speed of light.or some "time travel" or portal creating technology
3 the sun dieing means alot of things dieng not just our solar system (kinda sorta)
Delvin Sauw
I don't think intergalactic travel is unlikely, we're just not putting any resources at all into it basically. NASA's entire budgets from it's conception can fit into ONE YEAR of the Defense budget. People just do not care or think it's important, they would rather watch reality tv than learn about science or how to save the human race from our inevitable destruction, from asteroids, or the sun, or overpopulation, or any of the dozens of situations that will and may happen.
We have new and theoretical tech that could get us at least to a near FTL speed, not too shabby generational ships could probably be made now with today's advanced technology if we actually put resources into it. We've found a lot of planets in the goldilocks zone, even in our closest neighboring systems. I would say once we can determine where to go, and if we had the adequate resources funding it, we could have colonizing missions within the next couple generations. But people have to care first.
Only in the movies and your dreams dude! Man will never be able to live anywhere but Earth. When it's done he's done. Goodnight!
Tom Waters the earth is going to be out of resources anyway, just like mars now..
Here's what's exactly gonna happen in the distant future:
1. We find another Earth like planet.
2. Teleportation is made feasible. (Note its already achieved at a molecular level)
3. We all go.
4. For centuries we stay there and ruin that planet as well before finding another planet to infect.
... Except no one (sane) want's to be teleported because that involves dying and being recreated at another location... I mean it's you... but not you.
Karno There was a time when people didn't wanna fly because it involved your so called risk of going insanely high then coming back down, not to mention in a pressurized container. But its common now despite the fact if you fall from that height you die for sure.
With time, teleportation will become publicly feasible...despite the fact if you don't materialize at the other end, you die.
:D
That's not what I was saying.
It's not about materializing on the other end. It's the fact you are "dematerialized" aka killed.
Even if it wasn't painful. Even though I don't believe in such nonsense as a "soul" etc.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swamp_man
This explains it best.
Saint Of AwesomeMess check Sheldon explaining teleportation, I get what Karno is saying, he is right. If we teleport it's like cloning ourselves but killing the "real" one, the other is still alive but it's not us.

Well, we are currently in the most important transition of the human race. That is, going from a level 0 civilization to a level 1 civilization. If we successfully make the transition, we will most likely be fine from there on out. The transition will force us to come together and end most of the bullshit. Hopefully we make it..

I don't know why but I've never thought about how much time humans have left on earth. I just have this feeling that humans don't have that much longer when you look at numbers like a million years. Not to say that it will end in our lifetimes, I just feel like humans won't be around for another 5000 years.
maybe but we just evacuate to mars.
FlyingPanda the sun will not become a supernova. It's mass is way too small for a supernova to occur.
This is why we should be donating all of our money to NASA (well not ALL) because we're going to need to migrate to another planet in a new system... Sadly, Earth will be missed :P
nobody somebody But what will it become after the red giant stage, if not go nova?
***** maybe, oh i don't know, a DWARF STAR??
We're going to suffer a terrible fate aren't we?
That was a Majora's Mask reference.
Ryan Smith I think it was " We're going to meet a terrible fate, aren't we?"
***** You didn't understand the terrible fate, did you?
***** You forgot more than the quote. The moon was falling toward Termina.
its youve suffered a terrible fate havent you
We'll destroy ourselves long before the sun explodes.
At 3:02 “making days only hours long!”
Aren’t days already hours long?😹
what is hiccup?
a burning question.
Or, we could populate other planets.......
KadenzPlayz like Kepler
SuperYoshiMario 1995 ye
There's a super earth and a earth that looks similar discovered by kepler
Whole universe because that doesnt make sense
No one truly knows when/if the universe will end, but you are very wrong about that estimate depending on the theory.
And no, we will likely neve colonize the universe. we probably cant even reach another galaxy because they move apart at such great speeds.
its 2017, I haven't heard anything about juno
Splotz :D U hv been living under a rock
When Juno arrived at jupiter. God I feel old
well hopefully in a billion years we A: become immortal beings by inhabiting other planets in the glaxy so that the human race isn't destroyed or B: create something to physically move our planet to a safe location. I think its doable since humans managed to get into outerspace only 60 years after creating manned flight, a billion should be plenty.
or we just become biologically immortal within the next few centuries :P (which is theoretically possible due to certain technological advances) and eventually just make a giant lasery satelite doohicky that would propel us away from the sun.
plus it would just be soooper fun to be able to say i am immortal...but only if we can find a planet of INFERIOR LIFEFORMS to yell at and call pathetic mortals.
that is actually a scary thought, being immortal in the endless space, though i am not sure what impact we will make to these aliens, maybe they will think were gods? LOL
but seriously i doubt that any big change like that would conflict with the religious side of society anyway good idea though 1:3>
well you know being immortal would not be great because when the earth dies what are we gonna do ?
The earth and the life forms on it are way too small to travel through space. The limit of the speed of light makes it too difficult to achieve.
Well if we master faster than light travel or create space station colonies and colonize our soloar system, its possible.
If humanity lasts 1 billion years we would have such advanced technology we would be like gods
Forget asteroids crashing into earth, if we moved even 100km, we'd freeze to death, dying anyway!
Uh, no, even if we moved 100km we'd be perfectly fine. Like, RIGHT NOW, if we did.
Perfectly fine.
Do some thinking before you post a comment.
Mars is further than 100km from Earth, and if it wasn't so small it would had created or even maintained life. If you replace Earth with Mars, Earth would be SOO much better.
No, the sun WOULD expand, making it feel like we're not even moving.
Well think about it, if we move farther away we're be getting Closer to mars right? The sun will be getting bigger which means giving more heat farther,? So should it mars get warmer due to the suns growth!
i cant even begin to wrap my head around the universe like wtf. i have so so so many thoughts that i just dont even know where to begin
Not to get all religious, but since we are the ONLY beings in the whole EVERYTHING...God will give us another Earth, in another Dimension, he will give us our exact same lives, but in the next one, we will realize all our past mistakes....and if we Fuck up a 2nd time...then that's it, we'll never Come Back.
I really hope this is a troll because if not, you have your hopes set very high in regards to a fictional being.
Nicholas Bohlsen Dude, we're a Pebble, floating in Space, with life on it, in a perfect region of the Galaxy, there's gotta be more to it.
***** Yeah.... single celled organisms. Intelligent life else where is very unlikely. Besides wouldn't we have started some crazy war with 'them' by now.
And how do you know there isn't any other sentient life like us out in the universe? Also if god likes us so much why hasn't he stopped crime, world hunger, war, and countless other things?
SaturnIV4 Well, You have to Figure, God said "What the Fuck is up with these Humans...with this Free will Bullshit ??, so he said WTF and least see what happens. And now look. He is ahead though, cause there is more good on this planet than evil.....So far. Plus he had to put in things like War, disease, famine, Testosterone, cause 99.8% of the evil on this planet is caused by Males.
Even God fucks up and is on the Shitter...Just look at 9/11....they say God never gives you more than you can Handle ??,,,But tell that to the souls that choose to Jump or burn alive.....That's a bit much to handle for one day.
Wait Juno will arrive Jupiter this next year cuz it's now 2015
Yes
Its 2016 now
Itssssss 2016 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Josh Churchill I wonder when it will arrive
+Josh Churchill Three months from this message, Juno will land on Jupiter. Set your clocks!

Why don't we just all eat chocolate? :)
Because the chocolate would melt XD
du du tcheee
Cocoa will disappear in 25 years. Amd so will chocolate with it. Look it up
Rachel White Well the thing is,that i was eating ALOT of chocolate, that my sugar level was so high, little bit more and i could've died from a shock or heart problem, plus,we will be EXTREMLY fat...and slow
Aleks Povolny Not if God will decide to change us so we can use that energy from sugars sistematically.
who's watching in 3574?
+Kate Annett Shut up! You are going to ruin this timeline again! Please don't make me wait for 300 years in this timeline, you know my cryopreservation tank broke!

Or we could...leave. I think gliesa is nice around this time of year.
i hear Uranus is good in the summer
Minecraftmania94 Rains Diamonds sometimes too :)
Uranus is a gas giant we can't land on it and it's to far away from the sun we would die even with the most powerful heaters.
its a joke
Toby Lister manybe in a billion years, humanity would somehow find a solution fort hat (: I mean look how far we have come already lol
Juno has discovered Jupiter now!!
