Current Earth view in 3D on a big screen is like being there in person. Sure great for this disabled person who can no longer travel. Thank you Google.

Google maps...where were you 10 years ago when I was traveling through Europe?? I soo could have used this back then!
Why is greenland still enlarged if you mapped everything? Shouldn't the problems from rectangular projections have vanished as it is 3D now?
Hi Google,
Would it be possible to re-record this video as the map/satelite/earth tabs in the top left have now changed since Google Maps updated the UI. Now earth is hidden under the satellite view as default, and to access it now need to be hovered over which many users do not know. Personally I think the old UI wasn't as appealing as the new but was most definitely more straight forward.

You say we see Burj khalifa but in Google earth it is only 2D no animated map
@solki2007 You don't use a camcorder for screen capturing, but a special program. Otherwise, you wouldn't get this quality.

Make sure you click "Earth" Button on google map.
(it is located at the upper right corner in the map)
I don't get 3D buildings in my chrome. Is it because my graphic card is poor? I got intel 4500HD.
ps: 3D building works well in google earth.

I used the old Google Earth a lot, even had several places flagged....now all gone, and the options like earthquakes and older views are gone...miss it....

@swtxwishes the plugin won't work for me for some reason so I can't use earth view in google maps in the browser.
Google in my opinion is the most innovative company I know of, I've been using them for about everything for the past 15 years. They really know there stuff.

@KPRGOONER I quit using chrome and when to fire fox i think its as good or better than chrome and the speed is the exact same for me idk why ppl say chrome is faster.
This is a great ap for people who find traveling too difficult or who just don't travel much any more for whatever reason.

I am always very excited with any new Google project and invention, etc. that my favourite company has come to fruition. I also rarely write any comment or feedback to anything public without making sure it will not cast my "image" in a bad light, so you the public need to listen and understand that this entity is creating some of the most incredible inventions I am so glad to be a part of. The world is full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations, it's was makes us human. However, we do our best to be as accurate as possible. Keep in mind, it is FREE to use this application. Google Maps/Earth has by far made one of the greatest efforts to not only map our world in 2D but in 3D as well. Our worlds topography, roads, and buildings are changing daily so. If you want things to be accurate, be apart of the solution and report those problems instead of complaining.

@6Diaa9 I still can't see 3D buildings in my hometown, Labuan, Malaysia. But i can see 3D Buildings in famous plases like Kuala Lumpur.
Being a teacher myself I feel it more convenient while attending tuition classes.
