If you're looking to getting into dye sublimation printing the Epson ecotank printer is probably one of the cheapest avenues. In this video I show you the simple process of converting a new Eco Tank Epson Printer to be able to print using dye sublimating inks. It's quite easy really. All you have to do is add the sublimation ink in place of the ink that comes with the printer once the printer has run inject ink this will not work

do you know if the Epson F170 ink bottles will fit the same way in the ET's?

Thanks friend. I didn't think to just dump the other bottles out and use 😁 Sitting here trying to make a funnel with a piece of pen and a bottle nozzle and have ink everywhere but in the printer lol
Thanks for sharing, recently i was going to purchase the hippo sub inc on amazon, the one compatible to the epson in bottles but they are sold out so i had to buy the other hippo sub bottles similar to what you have in your video. I was just about to toss my epson ink out and this was perfect timing i came accross your video. Excellent idea and thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I have an Epson EcoTank model and i have already used the original Pigment ink included with it, after it almost reaches near the bottom limit of the tank, would it permanently damage my printer if i started to put the newly Dye Ink Mate i bought? or i could just keep printing till it finishes the older ink and it would just start using the new one? So far so good! have an Epson ET-3600, I still have a couple of old bottles, I'll have to thoroughly rise out between colors. But the old ink that is remaining in the printer, I'll have to tip the printer over my kitchen sink with running water? Right? Thanks!

I had to return my Epson 2720 printer I had just received, as I got an E 11 error when filling. It turns out the machine was faulty. I have a replacement on the way and cannot wait to get it set up. I am using StarCraft sublimation ink from 143vinyl, They come with the same nozzle as the Epson bottles and are very easy to use.

HI, a question. Is the material of the inks different from each other. And the filling inks, or are they all the same material, regardless of the colors. In other words, I can fill in all types of printers. Or is there a difference in the density of the material. I hope to find the answer.

Q: when I empty and clean out my Epson ink bottles, there is a little ring of Epson ink at the top of the bottles that I can’t get out. It seems to be caught under an O-ring at the top. Will that few drops cause me a problem??

I am 99% there to start doing sublimation. From what I've read and seen on RUclips, Epson printers are most popular.
I just want to make sure: If I buy a brand new Ecotank printer and use sublimation ink from the start, there is no "conversion" needed as it has never used "normal" ink.
Am I right? I understand that I break the warranty and so on, but I am, based on your video, that it should work.
You don't have to use original bottle. You can cut head of the sublime bottle and use it directly. Or find a flexible hose and put it.

What are the sublimation inks used for vs the revaluation ink? If you are doing normal photo and text printing is this necessary?
Sublimation inks are for printing onto sublimation paper and heat pressing onto T-shirts, or for using in a mug press.

There's flushing fluids you can get for dtg and dtf printers.

Hey. How are you. I bought a Epson sublimation printer. I wasn't told it was a echo ink printer. I was told it was a sublimation printer. I filled the cartages with the different colors of echo ink that come with the Epson printer. I realized the four bottles that came seperately with the bundle reads sublimation ink. What do I do to get the echo friendly ink out of the cartridges so that I can start using what I was originally trying to use in which was the sublimation in rather than the echo friendly ink

So we got this printer to do printing but we put the printer ink in instead of the sublimation ink. We used all the ink and then put the sublimation ink in but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas why? Do you think the first ink got mixed with the sublimation ink. Need help ASAP please
You can only use SUB inks on a brand new printer.
