Thank you for this video. Printer question I am 99% there to start doing sublimation. From what I've read and seen on RUclips, Epson printers are most popular. I just want to make sure: If I buy a brand new Ecotank printer and use sublimation ink from the start, there is no "conversion" needed as it has never used "normal" ink. Am I right? I understand that I break the warranty and so on, but I am, based on your video, that it should work.
So far so good! have an Epson ET-3600, I still have a couple of old bottles, I'll have to thoroughly rise out between colors. But the old ink that is remaining in the printer, I'll have to tip the printer over my kitchen sink with running water? Right? Thanks!
The easiest way is to buy empty tanks. Otherwise you can buy a cleaning kit. If the printer was used with normal ink you defenetly need the cleaning kit (including printheaf cleaning solution) to make sure there is no more ink in the system, if you don't remove all the ink your results may not turn out as they are supposed to...
I had to return my Epson 2720 printer I had just received, as I got an E 11 error when filling. It turns out the machine was faulty. I have a replacement on the way and cannot wait to get it set up. I am using StarCraft sublimation ink from 143vinyl, They come with the same nozzle as the Epson bottles and are very easy to use.

I filled the cartages with the different colors of echo ink that come with the Epson printer. I realized the four bottles that came seperately with the bundle reads sublimation ink. What do I do to get the echo friendly ink out of the cartridges so that I can start using what I was originally trying to use in which was the sublimation in rather than the echo friendly ink

I take my tops off the Epson ink bottles and put it inside the Black space for the ink on printer the yellow etc etc and I flip the foreign sublimation ink bottle upside down on to it and let it flow thru the tops I don’t have to even pour the ink into other bottles all I want is the tops and Wala!

You don't have to use original bottle. You can cut head of the sublime bottle and use it directly. Or find a flexible hose and put it.

There's flushing fluids you can get for dtg and dtf printers.
Aren't there bottles that the cap fits to avoid dumping original ink?
