On this 4th of July my greetings to all Americans. This is one of my favorite Chicago songs. I've listening to it for 50 years since I was a teenager. Cheers!
Robert.Lamm has been my favorite since I first saw him do Beginnings in 1970. H E IS Still great after all these years. I still miss Terry. Long live those guys. I will always love them and their music. God bless Chicago.
I had the opportunity to see Chicago many times. First time at barnabys in Chicago last time in Sacramento. I’m 74 now and happy for the time and sounds of CHICAGO. Many blessings for all.
Roberts voice is atill amazing! Great music and great memories. One of the first Concerts I attended was Chicago in KC MO way back in 1973, i believe. They still sound great!
If you watch Now more than ever the history of Chicago, now when they perform Saturday in the park when the line comes. A man plays his guitar he looks up to heaven to pay respect to Terry very respectful.
Was in HS when this song came out; seems like yesterday. One of the best bands ever, their music is timeless!! What's a hoot is, Robert Lamm is from Brooklyn, NY originally moved to Chicago when he was 15. He definitely thrived in Chicago and has written most of their hits.
Wow! This band was so amazing and others too but once these bands were no longer around the music went to down and out very quickly! Yes! Long live the Classics!!
Great sound and lyrics! Saturday in the park I think it was the Fourth of July Saturday in the park I think it was the Fourth of July People dancing, people laughing A man selling ice cream Singing Italian songs Eh Cumpari, ci vo sunari Can you dig it? (Yes, I can) And I've been waiting such a long time For Saturday Another day in the park I think it was the Fourth of July Another day in the park I think it was the Fourth of July People talking, really smiling A man playing guitar (play the song) (Play the song, play on) And singing for us all Will you help him change the world? Can you dig it? (Yes, I can) And I've been waiting such a long time For today Slow motion riders fly the colors of the day A bronze man still can tell stories his own way Listen children all is not lost, all is not lost, no, no, no Funny days in the park Every day's the Fourth of July Funny days in the park Every day's the Fourth of July People reaching, people touching A real celebration Waiting for us all (waiting for us all) If we want it, really want it Can you dig it? (Yes, I can) And I've been waiting such a long time For the day, yeah, yeah, yeah Ooh-hoo Hmm hmm Hmm hmm
I thought the same thing when they let Champlin go, but Pardini has actually shown himself to be an upgrade. It's one of the best moves the band has made it recent years.
Surprised they let Danny go, being an original member. It seems like they would have worked harder to resolve their differences with him. As for Bill Champlin - I'm surprised they kept him as long as they did. He was good on 16 & 17 and then he took to over-singing after Cetera left.
The Call of Duty, Warzone version of this song - Any day, in the zone, I hope that I’m not going to die, Any day, In the zone I hope that I’m not going to die, People shooting, people sliding, A man putting plates on, People all getting wrecked, hey maricón, deja de acampar I just got here (yes I did) And I’ve been killing such a long time, Like anydaY, A different day, in the zone, I hope that I’m not going to die, A different day, in the zone, I hope that I’m not going to die, People sweating, really thirsty, A man playing Rambo, And gunning for us all Will you help them save the game, I just got here (yes I did) And I’ve been killing such a long time, Like anydaY, Fast grinding players, merc the lobbies of the day, A bot man still can get downs in his own way, Listen players game is not lost Game is not lost, yeah oh yeah, Frying days in the zone, Everyday I hope I won’t die Frying days in the zone, Everyday I hope I won’t die People downing, people screaming, A real racist death comm Wish they all get banned Can we change it, really change it I just got here (yes I did) And I’ve been killing such a long time, Like to day -positive energy, peace and blessings to you!
Peter Cetera is just a selfish grumpy old man with a huge ego, he use to be cool during the 1970s but I think when he started his solo career, he became an asshole.
Lamm's voice sounds better than ever. This guy is 72 now. What is his secret. You talk about finding the fountain of youth.
Kerryman Some People lose it and some keep it until they die. Bobby Kimball from Toto lost it. It all has to do with stress
@@GOODNOIGHT He also has dementia now.
Lamm keep’s his voice fresh by still using it...
Lucky for you and me!
YES DONT USE IT YOU LOOSE IT SOMETHING BOBBY WOULD NEVER DO HE SOUNDS 😃👍 TERRIFiC STILL!!
He's still cute as a button.
Still one of my favorite Robert Lamm masterpieces. 🥰
One of my favorite Chicago songs!
I've had a big crush on Robert Lamm for 40 years or so...lord I'm old!
On this 4th of July my greetings to all Americans. This is one of my favorite Chicago songs. I've listening to it for 50 years since I was a teenager. Cheers!
Chicago has always been great. Been listening since high school in the 70s. A senior now and I'm still jammin
Brings back so many beautiful memories❤. I was only 7 or 8 listening to Chicago on radio. They inspired me to pursue a career in music.
These guys don't seem to age. Time has been good to them.
This was a hit in the summer of 1972. Brings back childhood memories. I had just finished 6th grade.
Robert.Lamm has been my favorite since I first saw him do Beginnings in 1970. H E IS Still great after all these years. I still miss Terry. Long live those guys. I will always love them and their music. God bless Chicago.

Fantastic Horn section...great guitar solos!! Real Music lasts>>>>
This group brought real pep and party to every gathering or home with this hit, it still picks me up since a child. Thanks for the joy guys. Gifted !
The terrible bands that exist today could learn a thing or two from these guys.
Long live the classics.
I agree...
Absolutely. These new so called musicians aren't even musicians in my book.

I agree 100 percent
Indeed
If you watch Now more than ever the history of Chicago, now when they perform Saturday in the park when the line comes. A man plays his guitar he looks up to heaven to pay respect to Terry very respectful.
Since 1973 they STILL sound good today.
I THINK CHICAGO IS THE BEST!!
Was in HS when this song came out; seems like yesterday. One of the best bands ever, their music is timeless!! What's a hoot is, Robert Lamm is from Brooklyn, NY originally moved to Chicago when he was 15. He definitely thrived in Chicago and has written most of their hits.

It’s Saturday, I’m in the park, and it IS the 4th of July!
I'm listening!11:59 pm July 4th.
Whenever July 4th falls on a Saturday, it should be referred to as "Chicago Day".
the bass lick at the end was fire !!
This keyboardist is the most fantastic I have ever heard!!! I was so moved!!!!!!
That was Bill Champlin. CHICAGO fired him in 2009.

It's cool to hear vocals from his brass section.
Chicago БРАВО!!!
Favoritos
I have to say that the singer doing Peter Cetera’s parts sounds surprisingly like him.
These guys are great with or without Kath and Cetera, Robert Lamm is great~~
true, but Cetera and Kath were part of Chicago, After Kath died and Cetera left, Chicago is just a cover band
Ryan Digricoli Your crazy Lamm was (is) the backbone of Chicago , his voice is smooth like velvet, no wonder the ladies went nuts over him!
Everyday’s the 4th of July!!
Loose Lips sink ships ... but not the Mother Ship, yo ! LUV YOU GUYS !!! mmmmmwwwwaaaaa !
Robert Lamm Still Gorgeous, Sexy At 72, His voice never Fades, He gets better and better, Kudos.. Chicago the Best!🙏❤️😘
Chicago 4 ever! Wish Peter Cetera would have remained with them!!!!😘
San Antonio Texas, Hemisfair Park, 15 years old hanging out with cousins and making tourist friends.
Both Chicago and The Buckinghams have had the same manager
me luv doin percussion 4u!
This is probably the best non-Kath line-up they ever had.
How far they have fallen. The current version of Chicago isn't even a dim reflection of these guys.
Timeless……………
思い出の曲です!🙂
Здорово!
Can you dig it? Yes I can.
Great sound and lyrics!

-Old guys do the trick...
Holy shit that cymbal is like a satellite 0:49
They only need Scheff to sound like Cetera, not be him. They did well here. I'm surprised they let Bill Champlin and Danny Seraphine go.
Bill Champlain sucked. He's a lounge singer. He's terrible.
I'm here because of Jacob
Aw, where are the cell phones? {sarcasm)😁
I was young well got more to say
I see Jimmy Panko is still going strong.
Where the hell is that bass guitar at?? Its my favorite part of the song
wow 9 dislike, who would dislike Chicago
Ryan Digricoli I love Chicago
St. Louis.
Saturdays in the park, drinking Boone Farm Strawberry Wine.
Bill Champlin on keyboards. He said the people come to see only him. He was the star. So, the band said "Bye Bye"! He got kicked out.
hahahaha
Rebecca Brodeur I
It's not the same with out Peter or Terry
Yes it's the same
Yes and it is 2019
IT'S GOOD, BUT NOT THE SAME. HOKAY?🎷🎺🎸
Or Danny
Hey these guys are almost as good as Leonid and Friends! 😉
The Call of Duty, Warzone version of this song -

Game is not lost, yeah oh yeah,
Frying days in the zone,
Everyday I hope I won’t die
Frying days in the zone,
Everyday I hope I won’t die
People downing, people screaming,
A real racist death comm
Wish they all get banned

Why oh why are there 51👎’s? Just wondering!
hi
Who is the 1 meany-pants who dis-liked this video?
+RedFishLittle Peter Cetera
Peter Cetera is just a selfish grumpy old man with a huge ego, he use to be cool during the 1970s but I think when he started his solo career, he became an asshole.
& youd still pay big to see him with Chicago again
What year was this concert?
