Yu Hojin's performance on AGT this week was absolutely mindbending. I've never seen close up magic done so beautifully before.

I don't know if I saw his act or not but I am surprised Maddie didn't make it in the finals. Her voice was probably the best I ever heard from a kid but she is already an actress so no biggie.
Was pretty genaric really... his timing was off in several spots, like when the note card went from his hand back to the board... it was literally a 2 second delay from when he made his motion and someone hit the switch to make it pop up on the wall.... and then his magnet work moving the T in A G T

The appearance of kneeling and hugging Maddie towards Maddie pays tribute to his humanity. Yu Hojin's magic is very delicate and respectful. And it creates a certain beauty that arouses the child's heart. Yu Hojin was truly a beautiful piece of art. Perhaps Yu Hojin will be the AGT winner in 2022.
That kneeling hug at the end that Yo Hojin gave Maddie was the best part of the the entire video. I don't care who wins. In that moment humanity won.

Stop stringing them along solely to get to a hour long run time for your show.

If they made the results show 30 minutes long, then they can announce just the top 2. 1 hour results show means you have to fill air time. Even results shows are all about tv ratings, that's why they get past contestants to do a act.

They put the contestants through 2 elimination scares, and in Maddie's case THREE elimination scares before being told she didn't make it.

@@ortizlloyd8378 They replaced 3 quarterfinals and 2 semifinals with just 5 semifinals. Two acts avancing to the finals in each of them plus one wildcard.
With no more judges choice and no more Dunkin (or whatever) Save round the result shows are kind of pointless. Announcing two names dragged out to one whole hour.
To me maddie was the top of them all,I hope she can make it one day ,I would buy all her songs on cd 😊
And she truly did so that makes me extremely happy for her.Also under another commenter there was a ignorant ridiculously cruel bitty talking 💩 about Maddie & saying that the first time when Maddie was singing in the audience the very first night well they said it was basically just scripted & a terrible lying act.I couldn’t believe that someone grown the hell up would talk some stupid mean as heck bullshit about an innocent child who was even up there crying about her daddy having cancer for freaking damn crying out loud.If anyone has ever lost someone in their life to cancer well then you would know those heartbreaking 😢can’t be acted out like Maddie was incredibly upset & crying like.I lost my own mommy to cancer so I know damn well that night of Maddie crying wasn’t freaking damn scripted.

@@jurgenbohm3286 Well, I guess it's the size of the platform(not literally) that matters. AGT has seen performers who have already won Got Talent shows in their respective countries, but still they come to AGT. As for Yu Hojin, I was not familiar with him, in spite of his popularity. So AGT kinda give these already famous or successful people, a global recognition.
@@sonianegi6465 He toured worldwide as member of "The Illusionists" for seven years and he was FISM world champion already ten years ago. It's like a grammy winner competing on a singing show ...
@@jurgenbohm3286 But I learnt about him through AGT only😁🤭, and moreover there are many successful artists and super talented people in various fields but their fame is kinda contained in a specific part of the world. That's why I mentioned the word RECOGNITION.
Last year a 9 year old kid,Victory Brinker, performed and earned golden buzzer. Later I learnt that it was not her first on stage performance. Before AGT, she had already very successfully performed many times on big platform, but people started recognizing her after her audition on AGT. That's the difference.
P.S. I love how he has made it to the finals, in spite of having earned just 3 yesses and no Golden buzzer. That's big, going by AGT standards.
I'm a Maddie fan but 3rd is still pretty good. The true purpose of the show in my view is to introduce amazing performers to a new audiences. Job accomplished as millions more know about Maddie!
The Korean magician is also one of my favorites. He has worked hard to be where he is. I can't imagine how much genius and practice goes into his illusions.
I really don't know much about Chapel Heart, but I'm sure they deserve to be there.
Maddie is very popular she's been on quite a few television shows and talent shows. I do enjoy her voice

They had to make it up for the billions upon billions of audition episodes.
It was over & rushed the moment Howie told Chapel Heart they have a good gimmick meaning out of norm appearance for country and Simon saying he "had a feeling" about them. Unfortunately it's all about the $ for this show...not just Talent. They want what sells not what is defined as talent.

I think its outrageous that only 2 acts each episode make it to the finals. In past seasons out of 11 acts in an episode, 5 would make it to the finals. Its like a whole different show when drastic rules like that are changed. Some years it is easier to make the finals than others

I'm so disappointed that Maddie didn't make it into the finals. She's the only person I have ever voted for, on AGT in my life. I'm 80 years old and she deserved to go forward. My only hope is that she's picked as a wildcard. I absolutely love this talented little girl.

She was out of tune at times. She was lucky to come top 3. If she was an adult she would have been buzzed.

I’m rooting for Yu Hojin tbh. His technique, stage presence, and overall manner is very charming and we don’t get a lot of non musical winners that often. Chapel Heart has the potential to become a successful group with just the AGT exposure alone.
True the past 10 seasons just 8 non musical acts won ... why don't you guys do at least a little bit of research?
There is no way any of these 3 acts should be sent home; this whole process sucks if by your own admission you gave more yeses this season then any other then more acts should go through. It’s just UNFAIR to everyone!!!!
Somebody has to go home or it wouldn't be called "COMPETITION". If it sucks for you, then you shouldn't be watching any competition show.

Apparently you were not a math major and everybody recognizes the fact that SOMEONE has to go home but if you have more people going through more yeses then statistically you should have a higher percentage of spots for advancement to the next round.

We can all agree that the competition was tight this year. Every act was so deserving.
But my prayer was to see the young girl Maddie to the finals. My strong instincts tell me she is more than a brand and with a good choice of song, she can blow the roofs off at AGT

I'm sorry that you disagree with my comment! It's clear that common sense is thrown out the window because you can't hear how bad that sounds. She needs more experience under her belt and her voice isn't fully matured. She's young and at a learning stage but she is not at a "I'm going to win" stage. I'm sure she'll learn how to sing better in her future and take singing lessons and perhaps she can win when she is fully ready.
I would love to see the Brown Brothers come back. The whole voting thing has me confused but still happy for Chapel Hart. I guess that I will just have to wait and see who has actually made it through to the finals.

So disappointed the Brown Brothers didn't make it, they do deserve to be in the final based on their pure talent. But also understand why their kind of act is a bit difficult to deliver something new and exciting on the show like AGT though.
But what was wrong with the first act? I would've loved to see the exact same concept with different cards/combination of cards. It was great!

But on a stage setting like this, it's very challenge to step up their game (impression & singing) and I think they shouldn't have chosen many of their cartoon or movie characters they did cuz it could have ruined the moment of the song and people might not get it like Simon. They rather picked voices of real singers to showcase their talent more.

Couldn't agree more. The first one is probably not straightforward enough to understand in the first place. But it's all because they didn't get a golden buzzer for the recognition and the show producer edited out the part they explained their act. I am so disappointed.
Impressionist have never really been in favor on this show, besides i think people had their mind set before it even happened. The magician was amazing, but Chapel Hart, I felt like their live audition was not very good. The lead singer could barely hit the notes for their own song, and she was cracking all over the place. She even sounded out of breath.
They can’t do what their known for singer impressions because copyright sadly

I think Dual Rings should have been one of the winners. Several of the performances were very good, but Dual Rings was amazing, very exciting, unique, and SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IN THE WILD CARD DRAW. Yo Hojin was my second choice.

I can’t believe packed 🥁 drum line didn’t make it through. Two going through is too little for all this talent! They rocked it yesterday. So did some others but like judges said you can see they wanted it and they deserved it!!

@@a423674z completely agree and a bad year to this with all these amazing acts! 😞 I feel bad for everyone you hear the “yes” and one shot to perform and your either in or out that’s it. Like chapel heart killed it auditions, this time I didn’t think they were as great. I was hoping to hear more of the other two voices. They still did good and write excellent songs but not great. And they get a chance to show us again. Drum line, audition was great but this time they killed it!! Now off they go and no idea if the rest of America would of fell in love with them! Same thing with Duo Ariel Act , was even better this time than auditions. Some deserve another shot to shine. Mr. Pants and the lady comedian America got right they were off their game 100%. Brown brothers, who knows America could have fallen out of love with their act next week. I personally agree with Simon on this one the production team helped saved their act! If they would have made it through would it be spin the wheel and sing ? Not being rude at all but how far could they have changed it to something new every week? I did vote for them but not all 10 available!

@@chrissymammabear4554 i had that they took the judges cuts out cuz that was like a second audition to make it in. If they did the 2 winner in each round from season 1 then I would be ok with it. This year is just messed up.
@@chrissymammabear4554 I will vouch for the Brown Brothers as it may not have been said, but Nate, one of the brothers, is a producer. He knows his in and outs with this stuff and i wouldn’t be surprised if most of production for their audition was done by him. The producers for the show most likely were the pen. Nate may have had the ideas, but the pen is what wrote them out.
There performance was amazing though.
Their act pales in comparison to the hundreds of drum corp around the country. Just because they're black does not mean they should automatically get the nod.

america didnt make the decisions, they are made by the show. they put through who they think will get better ratings, not by who was most liked or by who is more talented. they stopped that many years ago.
