  • That armour's too SMALL for blasters! A great alternative if you don't have room for the big Hasbro AT-AT.

    It is nice to see how far Jazwares has evolved. I got a lot of their old Sonic stuff from back when they had the license and they were well designed figures in theory, but the company just could not make good joints back in those days. I also think Star Wars is at it's best in a much smaller scale I haven't gotten the micro galaxy stuff myself, but I do like the Mission Fleet line a lot. Still a fairy small size but in a more cute cartoony style which appeals to me more then these do.

    The nano scale collectibles give me a world building vibe. I remember when they did "Making of 1977 Star Wars". The models for ships and space combat scenes seemed to capture that movie magic.

    I finally broke down and picked up some of these Micro Galaxy Squadron packs. OG Trilogy only (except I guess Slave-1 was from the new series but I can forgive that technicality). Still looking for an A-wing and Y-wing for my shelf though. They remind me so much of the Kenner miniatures line that I loved as a kid.

    I got the Luke’s X-Wing, and although I don’t like the Disney sequel trilogy, I couldn’t help myself and get Poe’s T-70 X-Wing. I really like the evolutionary design of the T-70, with spilt wings and engines, make the X-Wing even more low-profile, looks great 😊👍🏽. Thanks Michael! Nerdmasté! 😊🙏🏽

    Thanks for showing its features. I also have this AT AT packaged. Looks great though it could use some of the famous Lucas wear and tear of his Star Wars realm. This would be an AT AT right out of the Empire's factory.

  • @enrique6335
    @enrique6335 9 месяцев назад

    It looks to me like a Kenner vintage AT-AT but with updated articulation and play features and more screen accurate proportions. I saw it in store today and was immediately impressed as I wasn't expecting lights, sounds and articulated legs. It looks even more imposing in person though I skipped it in favor of the Republic gunship and V-wing (two of my all time favorite ship designs) but will definitely go back for it. I might even get lucky and find it in a post Christmas sale, lol
    Given that Hasbro's action figure lines are no longer doing it for me, I've been looking at this line as a way to get my Star Wars fix and it's making me very nostalgic since as a kid I was always more into the ships than the characters themselves. Might be time to go back to my roots and this scale is perfect for dioramas which I've also been getting into.

  • @kram67kram
    @kram67kram Год назад +1

    My only gripe is the size of the figures. As you pointed out their just short of the older figures which scale with the TFSW crossover figures and the Buzz light-year figures.

    The AT-AT has always been one of my favorite vehicles in Star Wars and probably the first toy that I was absolutely obsessed with owning as a kid (even though I wouldn't get my hands on one until around 1988, when I was in high school).
    My only problems with this Micro Galaxy AT-AT is that the ratchets on the neck weakened really fast on mine and he is now permanently in "sad puppy" mode. I'm not sure if that's a problem across the board or I just got a bad one. The other problem is that super soft plastic sleeve used for the neck. I live in a very dry climate and have only owned the toy for a month or two, but unfortunately that plastic neck-sleeve has already split open on mine. I think I'll wait for the price to drop to buy a second one and see if I have better luck.
    However, I still own the vintage Kenner toy and if that's the only AT-AT Walker I ever own, I'll be perfectly fine with that.

I was able to get the millennium falcon for under $30 on sale last year or I would not of purchase that. The lights and sound and there’s a pretty neat I will have to pay attention next time I’m at a store and see how the snow speeder looks and scale in relation to the walker
