Let's give this world something to smile about and fight for JOY! I have been building guitars for 13 years. Some of my guitars are played by professional musicians, including musicians who played with our Minnesota's Own Prince Rogers Nelson (Prince).
I think it would be creative and bring some joy to the world if I found ways to give some guitars away. For this to work, I will need patron support through Patreon. The more support, the more guitars to give away and I will film it for your pleasure! I've gotta pay for parts somehow :) _____________________________________________________________________

They are coming along so nicely and are looking beautiful. Nice work
Thanks brother!
Been missing everything lately and have been hospitalized with COVID and Pneumonia for days. Hoping to get home as soon as I can.
Oh no! Are you seeing any improvement? Prayers for ya Sheldon!
How are you doing Sheldon? Have you been able to leave the hospital yet?
@@letsbuildaguitar9230 hello my friend. No. Today is day eight in the hospital. I cannot speak. Positive news is I am eating well. The steroids make me hungry. They are trying to wean me off oxygen.
Hello Sheldon! I’m so sorry to hear that it’s still having a hold on you! Been thinking about ya …. Hopefully knowing people are out there praying for ya can be a little encouragement! Keep fighting this thing…I’ve seen some close friends in pretty bad shape with it in the hospital who came through! Two weeks ago my wife and I went to Florida for a respite from the negative temps in Minnesota…we visited Kennedy Space Center and I got an up close reminder of Apollo 13. Thinking about how unlikely it would be for them to actually survive….But they didn’t give up hope….they just kept doing the next right thing! If they had given up hope the story would have ended very differently……all that to say….Don’t give up my friend…Don’t give up hope!
I’m so glad I found your site, and to just say awesome job is an incredible understatement
Thanks much I needed to hear this! I’ve been taking a break from posting for a couple months. I need to finish up some home projects and then plan to continue with the guitar videos.
@@letsbuildaguitar9230 thanks for your reply, I’ll be looking forward to your videos
Nice job on the router table. No more lost fingers!
Using what I’ve got! Had to dig it out of a buried pile in the garage!😃
Definitely with!!!
The black is better. It needs the contrast against the racing stripe.
Yeah I like the black!
i would go with a clear Lexan pickguard
That’s another good thought! Thanks for for the input!
You could have mounted your pg to any straight edge piece of wood for that final bevel. There was no need to cut your template.
Yep! Figured that out a little too late!
Those locking washers are called E clips, sometimes incorrectly called C clip or circlips.
Thank you!!! I figured there must be a name!
That little washer is actually called an "E" clip ;-)
Thanks! I’ve had a few responses with the same answer, so I believe you are correct! Yeah I’m very thankful for learning from this community! I’m gaining some wisdom for sure!
Great instruction -- thx!
Thanks for letting me know…that’s always encouraging!
How do you apply for the guitar giveaway please
You just me an email! But I do already have you on the list Micheal.
Hey, great channel. I just stumbled onto you while looking for answers to pickguards.
When I buy a pickguard it has a plastic film that I peel off. Sometimes there is yet another, very very thin layer of plastic. It almost feels like I should leave it on. Do you know what I'm talking about? Should I peel it off too? I've peeled off a couple but I've never heard of this and I don't know if it's the right thing to do. Thanks.
Thanks! I’ve never actually come across that issue. Sorry!
I did the same with woodglut plans :)
Yeah!!!? How did they turn out?
