    What a fantastic video yet again. Not only was it detailed but highly informative. I still have to wait another 7 months before the delivery of my Ariya. These videos excel with detail and are so greatly appreciated. Thank you so much and please keep them coming.

    Really surprised with the street viewer function. Also the smoothness in usage. Keeps impressing. Getting my Ariya tomorrow so i can test it all out for myself. Thank you for the video ♥️⚡🚗

    Very useful, thanks. I have had my Ariya for a few weeks but not needed to charge anywhere but home yet, but now know a bit more on how to do it when I need to.

    Thanks for the video! It makes a pretty good impression - certainly not perfect yet, but hope for updates dies last ;-) We have an appointment on 22.10. for a test drive with the Ariya and we are looking forward to it! :D

      Yes, I think if we look at what they delivered as a starting point, it's heaps better than what the competition offered when ID4, Ioniq5 etc. came out, and in some respects it is better than the current versions of those systems indeed. So I think the prospects are quite promising.

    Thanks man. Appreciate all you do. I know its not in English but still Appreciate it, at least you are helping us here in America as I know people in your country want to keep in there language so I understand.
    Question. I know most (at least in the usa) use ABRP for long trips. Do you think this can replace that? I would rather not keep going from app to app if I can help it lol.

    • @nissanelectrified9583
      @nissanelectrified9583  Год назад +1

      My answer would be: Yes and no, but yes :D The thing is, ABRP is great as a route planer in the literal sense. Yet it kinda sucks in terms of being a sat nav. The Sat Nav in Ariya (as it is right now) is not too great at being a route planer (for charging stops that is), yet it's an amazing sat nav. Sounds like a bad situation, but it actually is no big deal, at least with the large battery variant, which is to be recommended if you will be doing long range trips on a regular basis. Reason being: With Ariya 87kWh, even on a 600+mi trip, you will not charge more than three times. So what I do is to check on ABRP where I would probably want to charge, and then I just punch the first one of those destinations into the internal Sat Nav and off I go. When I arrive there, the situation will have changed anyways, I I will just quickly fire up ABRP to check where I want to go next. Also, you quite qickly get a feel where those Ionity (or in your case EA) stations are and which one you want to use. Just like you tend to navigate towards your favourite Maverik when being on the road with your ICE car. It sorta gets second nature. My advice: don't worry too much, driving an EV is way more fun than it's a hassle.

    Very good video,
    Nissan made a great job with the Ariya.
    I own a Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the navigation system is a BIG disappointment and still coming out with new products like G60 and now with Ioniq 6 but still no updates or improvements in the navigation system ☹️☹️

      Thank you very much! Oh, that's a bummer concerning the sat nav in the Ioniq 5! Still a facinating car though - I'm sure you enjoy it very much!

    Great video! One question is the projected SoC (state of charge) calculated based on your driving style (previous driving) or it takes that you will drive close to the speed limits and based on this calculate the consumption? In other words can you trust it:)

    • @nissanelectrified9583
      @nissanelectrified9583  Год назад +4

      The car will monitor your style of driving (as said in the video :)), so it's dynamic. If you drive economically, it will shorten the charging stops etc..The Initial calculation will follow the style you've driven so far as far as I know...but I've had limited time to test this. This is a very complex topic as you can imagine. We will see over time if the system accommodates for elevation changes etc. i.e.. In general, the system seems to air on the side of caution, both in terms of charging stops and length of charging. Which is good I think.

    Since you narrate your videos in English, have you considered switching the displays to English as well to make it easier for your viewers to follow along? I think it would be super helpful.

    • @nissanelectrified9583
      @nissanelectrified9583  Год назад +1

      Good idea! Right now it's a bit of a hybrid, and there already are people complaining about my videos being in English to begin with. But I think doing it completely English is the more straight forward choice, and the vast majority of followers seems to be either English or understand English very well, so I will pick up on your advice I think.

    I forgot to ask, is it possible to verbally put in your destination in the route planner, as opposed to typing it in every time?

      To be honest, input via keyboard is so brilliantly quick and the search results so good, that I tend to use just that. But there will be a quick video coming about the VC ;)

    Do European owners get preferential rates on IONITY chargers ?

    • @nissanelectrified9583
      @nissanelectrified9583  Год назад

      Yes, it's a super sweet deal. 13 bucks a month will get you charging at Ionity for 30 cents/kWh.

    Hello. I just wander if you can download apps like RUclips, on the ariya entertainment senter. Would be nice, when fast charging. Could be nice with a video, showing available apps also. Thanks for good videos.

      Hi mate, sadly there is no such thing in Europe. The Japanese version can do it, so it's possible. I would love an option to at least stream onto the infotainment screen during breaks as well!

      Hello, i didn't like the Ariya after a short test drive with a fwd. But then I got to test the awd on a long trip, and I loved it so much that I bought one. It's on a boat from Japan now, hope to get it 1 September. But I have found a way to use youtube through android auto, by using an app called car stream. There are videos on RUclips, explaining how to get it to work. Thanks for great video, love from Northern Norway.

      I am interested - what did you like on the AWD so much that it changed your mind about the whole car?

    • @trumpetscall8910
      @trumpetscall8910 11 месяцев назад +1

      @nissanelectrified9583 I guess one reason would be the length of my first test drive, 15 min is not enough to really appreciate a car. Another is the difference in acceleration, the awd is much quicker. But the main reason was the fwd didn't fill me with confidence on a winter road, and i live in Northern Norway. I drive a awd mondeo at the moment, and will never go back to 2 wheel drive anymore. Hope to get the Ariya in the beginning of September, and you are right about the heads up display. It's so good and convenient, that's something I didn't know I needed. Thanks again for your great videos, hope you keep making them 👍

      Totally understand, same here. Had an X-Trail 4WD and if you ever had that, you don't want to go back. My e-4orce Ariya should arrive the same time yours does, they probably share the same freighter right now :D

    Bitte bitte ein Test der Sprachsteuerung. Aktuell soll der Stand ja ganz schön schlecht sein.

    The estimated battery remaining for a journey is way off. Always much lower than what is actually remaining. Is there a way to resolve this issue? Thanks.

      Well, it calculates "worst case" so to say. I quite like it, since whatever the car is showing you, you can count on it being available, no matter the weather or style of driving.
