that's fine my mother is a breeder, she does it full time so we have a lot of dogs but we also far exceed all legal standards in regards of living conditions, from inside and outside enclosures troughout the year to summertime playpens. and all dogs deserve a good home so adopting is A okay that being said the reason there have to be so many shelters has to be noted. There are to many people that get a dog without properly looking into it and analyzing what twould work for them, and what a huge commitment it is, to few people realise that dogs were created, they were bred for certain uses and whilst any dog can make a great compannion there are certain breeds that are just not a good fit for children and quite a few that were bred to have a predisposition towards only obeying one person as well. furthermore any dog can get a braintumour, like any person can, or any affliction that could cause them to get violent, it is incredibly rare but an accident involving a cavalier king charles is not even going to hurt most children whilst a boerboel could slaughter the entire family there is one breed that is always safe and can thrive in any usual environment and addapts to it perfectly and that is cavalier king charles spaniel but with this breed you have to be incredibly diligent regarding bloodlines and dna, they are incredibly popular and thus bad breeding practices and imports from less reputable places are common alwayys always always, if you buy a puppy that is under 10 weeks old make sure the mother is with it, (8 weeks can be acceptable to seperate them but honestly i'd leave the mother with her pups for at least 10 after that they usually start growling at them to make them more independent but if the mother is in an enclosure with them they tend to become less social and dependent on mom forever

If I adopt a dog instead, doesn’t that require extra work and more experience. I assumed those dogs have previous trauma, and health issues that need to be worked on. I will be a first time dog owner and I don’t believe I’m ready to take on that challenge right away. I’d rather have a physically/mentally healthy dog.
Definitely possible. I went to a rescue and they wanted a 850 adoption fee for a 5month cavapoo. However the longer a breeder has a pup the lower the cost. I found a 3month old from a breeder and almost the same price. Also the rescue wouldn’t let me adopt cause I don’t have a house which was annoying cause I have a 2pet limit where I live and leasing office had no problem adding them on.
I have adopted my last three dogs and they have been the best, however, having said that, I've been looking at different rescues 4 hrs from my home and the prices and the hoops that some of these rescues want you to go through are very discouraging. So much so in fact, I will be getting my next fur kid from a breeder...

Thanks for the video! The last have of this video are terrific tips, if only I could find a few breeders I think might be good... My recent experience is that Facebook groups won't share their breeder information anymore. They won't even allow people to join their group, if they don't already have a dog of the particular breed. I think Facebook has some new rules and that might be the reason. The groups seemed to be for owners of the breed only, so they can share knowledge about the breed with other owners. I've been looking for a small poodle mix, so kennel and breed clubs are not really an option for me. I personally don't know anyone that has the breeds I'm interested in. I've been checking with local shelters and animal rescue, but still no luck. So, I have found 0 reputable breeders at this point. All I keep finding is scam after scam. The only reason people look for someone that is not a professional is because they charge waayyyy too much money for a puppy.
You want a pet or a blue bow#1 dog?
If price is up then demand is down, not up
Nah, demand increase = price increase. The more people want to buy, the more people are willing to pay
Demand higher than supply means higher price
