Personally I will be letting the content of the game decide which one's I am building but there are definitely some weapons better than others here! If we ever get dungeon ranking events again, ATB Boost will absolutely be top tier for quickly clearing and shaving off those important seconds for high scores IMO.

nice tier list. One thing I noticed, you said major heal in regards to aerith’s weapon ability and I always thought the mag heal stood for magic heal. Like the heal is based off of your heal stat and also your magic attack stat

I would really like to know the HP threshold and how the multiplier works. Barretts as an example: Does it do 1.5x at X amount of HP, and the 2x at X amount, then 2.5x at X amount, and then finally 3x at X amount? Or does it do 2x, then 3x? What are the thresholds!!
I went for Matt's weapons after all those sweet coins we got from the ranked event, mainly for new Ramuh fights. I feel like his weapon will be SUPER useful. Matt, Aerith, and Red are who I am focusing on first mainly for the P/Mdef Rability.I feel like the ATB boost is very situational. It could be useful for your buffer/debuffer, and maybe in ranked events as well but it would prob be best not to use it on your main DPS.
Headphones umbrella and Foamsword are all REALLY good i totally agree, but: Lucia's Weapon is imo Rank 4. Barret's weapon is clearly D tier, 2 full defensive passives to counter the potential damage amp on the skill itself is beyond bad just like everything they release for him. Red Shell A tier? there are so many weapons in the game which do the same thing but better... i cannot agree this being better than D tier. Nailbat i believe is going below f tier very soon as the only thing it provides is a bit of damage... 5 atb sucks, and the % will be toppled at anniversary most likely. If you think its viable in fire fights, then look to zack's weapon (1200% potency 4 atb no downside at 100% hp, Pdef all allies) to agree it is not even close to viable in comparison. IF there will be a fight in the future where you have to pop your buffs before enemy takes his first action, some of the ATB boosts might be good (even if ob0) but thats hyper niche. Another reason for ATB boost becoming better than non viable would be speedclears for high rankings, but this is generally whale territory and wouldnt impact most of the playerbase i believe. PS: why have C and D Tier even tho everything in your B tier is generally not useable?
This is really long and I’m on a phone atm, so just gonna answer lightly. Yes weapons are better then Red Shell but the def up all allies makes it better. In fact, any weapon with PDEF/MDEF all allies was auto A slot for me because that’s super good regardless of the actual weapon ability because it’s still slottable back end. If you are grading then purely on their command abilities then the tier list would be different. So yeah I still stand by my thoughts, but to each their own 🙏🏽
Spent most of my top 50 tokens to Ob6 headphones and base 5 star cait siths to sub weapon for shiva ex2 for mdef-all and ice resist. it worked for getting the clear but kinda have purchase regret now - and yeah im definitely getting Matt’s or Aerith next after second guild battle depending on other new content
I got Yuffie’s first because she is my favorite character it helped me clear B25 on the Cerulean Tower. Other than Zach’s Zweilhander didn’t have any non elemental weapons for the other 3 characters. Other than that haven’t used it for anything else. Definitely going to start on Matt’s next!
the c. abilities for Matt, Aerith and Red’s guild weapons are all poor man’s versions of their 3rd limit breaks, which charge pretty fast anyway. Cloud’s and Tifa’s c. abilities are good, but not good enough to overcome awful r. abilities. too much of a sacrifice to waste both r. abilities on a weapon. so really it’s only the MDEF all and PDEF all r. abilities that are going to be at all useful i think. and a couple of these, Glenn’s squeaky hammer and Barret’s rocket fist, will be fun weapon skins
@@BodhiJMSRyder it would be on top of the A tier imo. I put it on OB6 just to help on Ifrit+Bahamut EX 1&2 and to play around with Zack. It’s being fun so far
Lower hp would be under 30% when it's red. So you'd be stacking crap loads of health so you're hp is still high enough to survive. 70% 50% and 30% are the 3 health levels I'd say. Pretty sure it's 40% for cait siths weapon now for the matk
Bodhi J.M.S Ryder I dont understand what you and many others see as value in Matt's weapon. I only see a failed opportunity in it: - 600 Non elemental dmg - pathetic for DPS - Removes P.Def, only this? they could add nDef too (similar to Aerith). If it was both that would be interesting, otherwise it is pretty much niche. Also usually you want to decrease def, not just remove buff, so that mean you still need second skill for def down. And the question here is - does it work on break protected enemy? - Since it removes pDef, put Pdef-All, not mDef! - Heal-All slot ... are we running healer or DPS???? So overall many different things in one place, no synergy, and if there is a rare case, it still a NICHE!!! A totally missed opportunity to create something really nice!!! Aerith's is definitely #1, close by Red's. For Red's lover it should be #1
I never really looked at Matt’s as being a DPS weapon since he’s not a DPS tho I still think Cure all is always good to have, MDEF up all super good and the PDEF break will have its moments.
You can definitely notice a common theme with these weapons, it's essentially letting us know what's coming even before it's announced. I see some of those weapons being used against Titan summon that'll eventually come. Same goes for Choco/Mog or Typhoon whatever wind summon they will opt to use.
I don’t think I like the atb boost. It’s very niche. Not very useful for early damage because command gauge takes longer to reach full it wouldn’t be used on a max dmg hit. This would be more for something like you said to use a on a sub weapon support skill or support materia to start the fight out with a buff/debuff like shiva aoe silence. Hmm I don’t know I just don’t see it very useful.
Oh a beefy 25 min video ❤ With the atb boost dps weapons you won't hit max command stance which sucks. It would be nice on a buffer/debuffer to start out.

I think you can make member channel , need pay for month or dominate some then you can help clear 1 or 2 mission one month twice. Can live to fans to watch how pass any crash or ex without some limited or low Ob weapon each mission record it , after can cut or direct upload the video. I think members can personal give Enix ID , so you can open to live, but you dont show ID & pass to others ,live or video. Normally i think not so much problem. Genshin got youtuber do like this youtuber help member to draw , check weapon store and help clear some very hard stage. After give some suggestion to the ID owner. How to make team more smoothly how build more perfect ,need focus at what, something like that. I just suggestion.😂 If you dont like or no time for it , its ok.

The only issue is you have to sacrifice damage in its place so we’ll see if the atb boost is better than damage and HP cost
Also dependent on which fight it is so situationally they could be awesome

the weapons specifically that work at x2 or x3 ability potency at low hp. I can see their usefulness in future guild boss battles tbh
