Seguendo le novità del mercato, sempre numerose, ho pensato di disegnare un folder che fosse molto compatto e che esprimesse solidità già dal primo impatto, una volta impugnato. Le caratteristiche salienti che dovevano essere presenti erano: un’ottima impugnatura, prerogativa che cerco di applicare in tutte le mie realizzazioni, e un tipo di lama che fosse molto sfruttabile anche per lavori gravosi, nonostante le dimensioni contenute. Dopo i primi schizzi realizzati, è nato l’Italico.”

"The Italico was born almost on its own....
Following the market novelties, which are always numerous, I thought of designing a folder that would be very compact and express solidity from the very first impact, once gripped. The salient features that had to be present were: an excellent grip, a prerogative I try to apply in all my designs, and a type of blade that was very usable even for heavy work, despite its small size. After the first sketches were made, the Italico was born."
