pointers for classic players looking to kill the plugger:
    - you can't pull the plugger directly or the nearby patrons will also attack you. use the beers, and throw them on the ground next to the barrels (you need 4)!
    - you can't kick the plugger. he's immune to all stuns and spell interrupts (and even mind-numbing poison)!
    - start the fight with a garrote after you dealt with the adds. you CAN pickpocket him before the fight, and proceed to sell the key he drops (has no AH deposit cost).
    - don't use greater shadow protection potions. they cost you as much or even more than what his drops are worth. ask a druid to give you mark of the wild and try to LOS the casts - just keep bandages and health pots ready.
    - the fight is very easy if you avoid his spells, and you can even bandage mid-fight if you go around the corner and take some distance.
    - if you do it correctly, you won't even need consumables and can succeed with relatively bad gear at 58-59. imo you could even pull it off at 56-57 if you pay attention.
    - remember to vendor all his garbage to lokhtos in the "barrel room" when you're done.
    also while you're in BRD...
    - you can solo pyromancer loregrain with relative ease for fiery weapon formula + valuable vendorables. just sap, blind and pop a resistance potion before the fight to be sure. him and his adds deal a lot of spell damage, so do your best to interrupt them. a mouseover kick macro is very helpful here. this boss IS stunnable.
    - you can solo warder stilgiss and verek for a potential shoulder upgrade + valuable vendorables. if you're a businessman, you can also sell his BIS frost mage loot to anyone who is willing to tag along, but you will need to clear a couple of additional packs for the mage unless he uses an invisibility potion. this boss IS stunnable.
    - after killing stilgiss, you can open the coffers for a lot of vendorables and gold - just don't open the last coffer, because it will spawn a boss which you cannot kill.
    - after the coffers you can open the dark keeper portrait and find the dark keeper, kill him and loot his key for more loot. the dark coffer mainly contains crap, but you can use the quest items to sell +20 FR or +150 mana to leg/head slots for other players for a big additional cash bonus. after you loot the dark coffer, you can loot the last relic coffer and vanish, but be quick and subtle.
    - you can also solo lord roccor if you need the formula for smoking heart of the mountain. he is not immune to poisons despite being an elemental boss, but he does use fire and nature damage, which means a resistance potion will be helpful in this fight as well. you need to wait for him to patrol near the entrance to the arena, and then pull him by the gate. this spot allows for a clean pull and is out of the way of all patrols.
    - what i always do in BRD is i pick the pockets of all arena spectators, this spot yields nothing but heavy junkboxes and they drop a lot of major healing potions and blinding powder among other things.
    - kill all the fire elementals that can be pulled one by one. they drop elemental fire & essence of fire and are a worthwhile addition to your BRD farm.
    - you can solo lord incendius as a rogue, but you will require fire protection potions. this fight is NOT worth it, and i recommend skipping it unless you need access to the black anvil (used to craft MC epics)
    - solo attunement to the core (mc prequest)
    - if blackveil cape is an upgrade to you, you can solo houndmaster grebmar at 60 too. you will first need to kill his dogs and die, then corpserun and go back to him and he will be patrolling with no adds. he is not a terribly easy kill, because he uses demoralizing shout and starts hitting fast at lower hp, but this boss IS stunnable and blindable, so use that to your advantage.
    - if you're nuts for soloing stuff, you can try high interrogator gerstahn, too. i haven't tried soloing her, but from what i've read, it should be possible. she uses a lot of shadow spells, so resistance/protection seems mandatory. the only reason she is tough is because she has adds, but if you use sap + blind/magic dust/really sticky glue etc., the fight should be possible even in subpar gear, provided you have the necessary consumables to attempt it. i wouldn't try it unless you're looking for a challenge or want to help a friend.
    other important pointers:
    - the bloodhounds (red demon dogs) have a heightened stealth detection. they suck balls, and sometimes they spawn in random packs while you're on your way to solo stilgiss. for these situations it's imperative to be prepared: bring invisibility potions to pass them, or just zerg them and vanish when they die (note: the lower level dogs use rend, so you may not be able to save yourself with vanish...)
    - if you're selling pyromancer loot or boosting a friend, the arena spectator packs can be avoided even without stealth at around 58-59 by walking on the very edge of the arena. the mobs spawn with random levels, and it's possible lvl 56 adds will spawn closest to the edge, which means skipping them without stealth is very risky below 60. your boostee should be in loot range when he moves past the first spectator pack to the right.
    - if you're boosting/selling stilgiss loot, your boostee has to make it to the domicile over the bridge -- this route has patrols and may be impossible to skip without invisibility potions or clearing. ask your boostee to help with polymorph/cc.

Very useful info. Any strats for Stilgiss or is it just burst?

    • @miskee11
      @miskee11 3 года назад +1

@@khanhnguyen-ld6dn i highly recommend attacking the dog as your primary target. he hits harder and since stilgiss casts, you want to utilize your evasion to its maximum capacity by dealing the melee threat first. just enable AR+BF+Evasion and cleave them down together.
if you plan on doing the coffers, you do not want to waste your vanish and kill them one by one. if you have good gear, it should be quite trivial, but with bad gear you will definitely need a healing potion at the very least -- lvl 28 frost protection potions could also be a cheap alternative if you really want to make it safe.
one thing i can also recommend is Lei of Lilies, since the Lily Root you conjure with it restores a decent chunk of health every 1 hour. the bad thing is, that it shares its CD with thistle tea (and whipper root tubers), but for things like this, it's basically a free way to get some extra health.

Thanks for the help. i used the beer to kill the first two, then i pulled him when he was the closest on the bar with starfire+moonfire, accidentally pulled the other 2/4 that I didn't kill before and then I solod him + the 2 without shadow protection potion. The tricky thing was that you can't interrupt him with feral charge and you can not stun him in bear so what i did was just hard cast regrowth > rejuv > biggest healing touch and bear form again. used up enraged regen before i popped out the first time. kept fearie fire and demo raor upp all the time. the only thing that hurts is the shadow bolt. his melee swings do no dmg, especially as a bear with full blues and 2 epix.
    good luck druids.

It depends on what patch you're looking at. Before attack speed normalization this one was the best pre-raid because of the 2.0 AS. The attack modifier with this speed was too strong. But with patch 1.6 I think they added the normalized AS so it's not worht farming as of right now that's true. But I did this video like half a year ago :D
