Yeah I drop the farfetch'd for X speed and I also drop potions for Sabrina. Full aggro and control. This deck design is really an all in kinda deck, ninetails/rapidash dont have the health to make pots worth it. I like being able to snipe specific pokemon early which ruins a lot of decks and helps avoid stall situations. Sabrina is too good of a tech card to not put in almost every deck.
@@kingcygnus I just took out someone's mewtwo ex with the help of a potion. My sandslash weakened it, then my onix cleaned it up. Potion was a lifesaver
Moltress makes no sense in this deck. your main attackers don't need that much ramp (he works best with Charizard EX), and their strength comes from cost efficient early game attacks. Using Moltress slows you down to the point where slower decks have time to outstat you. A better approach to this is playing it aggro and hoping to win before opponents can drop a big one on you. Also this needs Sabrina for when they do manage to get their strategy online.
@@Sam-ss2lg what if you go first? You are below in energy from being first, and have faster Evo is not enough. Moltres helps there and is generally a good card.
@@NormalDude-kb5io Ninetales requires 2 energy to get active (a 2 turn set up in other words). Even if you roll 2 or 3 energy on Moltress with 1 try, you spend 1 turn and 1 energy for Moltress to attack initially, then the following turn 1 energy to retreat him so ninetales can swing. Even with X-speed, it's a 2 turn process, same amount you would need to set up ninetales regularly, meaning no upside from utilizing him. And this assumes you highrolled with Moltress. On a low roll he straight up slows you down. Only upside to this is you could stock extra energy on Ninetales so your energy is freely spent on a bench pokemon (only if you highrolled).
@@NormalDude-kb5io also found it better not having moltres personally, it just slows down the aggro too much even if it's accelerating, youre much better off keeping aggro with a potential rapidash + blaine for 70 on turn 3 if youre going first, even just the early start on damage from ponyta poking goes a long way. Moltres is just too slow for this deck on average, it'd be much more beneficial to have something like a misty
I like better your idea of trading Farfetch'd for 2 X-Speed. That pokemon is extremely neutral and makes you waste pokeballs getting you farther away from your deck's win condition.
Once I saw farfetchd i was gonna say that.... its like with the 20 cards limitation, the less basic pkmn the best... from 2 or 3-tops evolution lines looks like the ideal
Lol bro, farfecht'd is the best starter, 40 damage for 1 energy on a basic, what more could you ask in this format? Moltres is what's wrong here, this deck is good because it only runs 1 points.
@@GoOKuSj33 It is just bad. Doesn't evolve, doesn't improve in any way, not good for the bench either, and it's basic, so it ruins the pokeball chances of finding what you need. There is no room for fillers in a 20 cards deck.
Jake, like we at this point understand most of the things about battles/strategies but can you make a video on how to battle effectively. Like a detailed video on how to form a deck, what to play first, when to use abilities etc etc so that we can get a clear idea on how to battle effectively.
moltress makes no sense in a beatdown deck..... you may change it for almost any support/item and this deck would be better. I personally think sabrina is insane in this list, but red card may also work.
To fix audio delay you add async delay filter to gameplay and do the same to Webcam to make sure everything is lined up. I also make content and stream that's how I fixed it
I could be wrong, but If you would have swapped in ninetails a turn early and ko’d farfetched in the second game, I believe you had a pretty decent shot at winning
Edit: just saw where he said it can’t be controlled lol Idk if anyone’s mentioned it yet but the game audio is delayed with the game visuals. Love the vids but would love to have this fixed!
Moltres takes much longer to set up and on average you barely get an energy return on top of then risking it dying and giving the opponent 2 points, it might seem like they do the same thing but Misty allowing pressure as early as turn 1 is way better
@@who_16 I understand that you can set up immediately with misty but opposite is also true. Misty could literally yield nothing. If you flip tails twice in a row you’ve wasted two cards on nothing.
"I had this crazy idea for cards! What if we could customize them ourselves to make them unique and really stand out in online battles? It would add a fun way to flex our creativity. Plus, there could be a feature to rate or like customized cards, so others can appreciate the creator's work. And if someone really likes a card, the creator could list it in the shop, allowing them to trade it for in-game currency like hourglasses or other resources."
trust me it's a really good deck if you know how to navigate it, the list without moltres is much better imo and blaine just allows you to do numbers that the opponent doesnt expect half the time so you get free picks and disrupt their energy usages
Unfortunately it feels somewhat mid at times. Ninetales is my favorite Pokemon, so I've been trying all sorts of variations to make it work. The big problem is that being an aggressive deck, it can get the first two points pretty quickly, but really struggles to close games out sometimes. Honestly, this deck would've been so much better if Magmar did 60 damage instead of 50. That 10 point difference has made Magmar mostly useless, and there aren't any other good aggro options for this deck outside of Farfetch'd

The potions really help in the Mewtwo matchup I’ve found. It forces your opponent to one shot your one prizers.

i think they messed up with this new zealand early access idea. I think people not using VPNs are gonna enter the game fully theorycrafted out
Try Mewtwo Ex + Gardevoir! I'd love to see your take on the deck. And hey, both Unite pokemon mister content cowboy!
Misty adds an element of luck but I would argue that moltres does the same thing. I wouldn’t call it cheese just risky if you rely heavily on misty.
They are not the same. Misty allows ramp and attack in the same turn, and this is the main issue.

How much money you Invest? 😂
this blaine ninetales deck lucky doesnt require money and straight up just comes from charizard packs, its really good and budget
