For the right side of the screen you could put up an enlarged version of the cards in the deck making it easier to read them, it's kind of small and hard to know what all the cards do.
At the start of the game if I am going first, no matter how many BASICS I have in hand I only place the active spot and then start the battle. I also wait to see how many the opponent places. This is because of things that can attack your backline right away like Hitmonlee and Zebrastrike (Those 2 can kill Magikarp in one hit while its on the bench). When the game starts you can still place down the rest of your Basics after you see it's safe to do so.
@@Terry_and_Glenn That doesn't make any sense regarding what I said. If you are GOING FIRST, how can they Misty/Articuno you? Once you see that they aren't playing Hitmonlee/Zebstrike just go ahead and place your other Pokemon. Also if they Misty/Articuno you on their turn and high roll you are probably dead anyway regardless.
I think the energy disruption is a hold over effect from the full TCG where energy is a card and so removing it can be really disruptive. In this format with set energy per turn it feels a little less useful imo
I mainly play a Gyarados deck, mostly because I'm missing the "meta" cards, but also because I love that full art, like you. I once won on turn 3 (my 2nd turn) with a lucky misty and having Gyarados in hand. Took out his only Pokémon and felt godly. Glad to see you give one of my favorite Pokémon some love!
The wires in my brain are getting crossed. My brain is primed to hear Regis talk about marvel snap. and Pokemon Snap is a name of a game so my brain was absolutely expecting to hear “magikarp is the worst card in pokemon snap.”
Consideration on Hypno for stalling potential? I havent seen anyone run it yet, but seems viable to me. Then you can also run meowth for draw power and easy retreat. Not sure if this set up will lead to better or worse consistency.
At least a splash does damage at all in the card game.
True.
It should be splash out, dealing no damage but retreats just like abra. That would make gyarados a little more viable without changing gyarados

This is great advice actually thanks!
Unfortunately this can also have you lose first turn to an Articuno EX that opens with Misty

Gyrados would be so much better if it had a cheap attack, but as it is, it feels like the deck is purely dependent on misty high rolls.
First opening hundreds of packs, now flipping coins, Regis you can't seem to get enough of that RNG!

your misty ever flip head?😮

Wait pokemon snap is a game? Wher?
@@Zeblon44It's a game about taking pictures of Pokemon
@@Facusblues lost me lmao
@@Zeblon44 It was an N64 game... that somewhat recently got a sequel on the switch. No relation to Marvel SNAP lol.
My brain did the exact same thing lmao I just finished watching the new Zabu video, so that might've played into it too

Wait till Regis finds out what Welder used to do. xD
how do you get sound while recording ?
i think you've mentioned before but how are you playing with a mouse?
Phone emulator on PC probably.
You can plug a mouse into an Android phone with the relevant adaptor.
What do you mean by 'climbing'?
i havent got heads yet with misty and i had been playing an articuno deck since the game came out i have since removed misty
Take out Snore, Chan, X to add 1 Psy 2 Golduck same for Frosmoth just for the fun of it. I would say Starmie, or Greninja + Seadra for the Snipes.
I think it battle 2 not playing the gyrados is better to bait arbok to stay in
That Starmie player was so bad idk what they were doing or thinking 🤦
Stall in Pocket..... we already have snorlax stall in tcg! STOP IT PLS
Where is your MEW!?!
Isn't he still searching Alakazam?
@@COA5T According to his last video he has every pokemon
You should try greninja to add more damage ive been running that (plus starmie ex) and ive been having a good time with it
If you dont have starmie ex you can use psyduck and golduck psyduck is a great starter
That is just a different deck. The whole point was to make a Gyarados deck.
Giovanni > X Speed
Ur title is so sad ... it makes me MAD
There's a gyarados ex in the tcg, that's why he's weak rn
misty is overrated
