      I love it when he says that it's so sweet and tragic at the same time because he doesn't think he's worth her devotion and he's not sure when or if he's going to see her again😢

    Lisbon like always is trying to help Jane - so sweet. And this is sad that after all he doesn't want her help, doesn't trust her, doesn't tell her anything.

    • @zumabbar
      @zumabbar 3 года назад +8

      he did trust her tho, but at time he thinks the best thing is not telling her about to make the fake breakdown believable to RJ

    • @leogem177
      @leogem177 3 года назад +5

      I think he does feel bad about it (...and he should!). She's so worried and misses him and sad about what happened and but he just can't help himself- he just can't go on in the same way any longer with Red John out there he has to do something dramatic to make things change so he can track him down. I think the 'fake' breakdown is partly true- which makes it seem the more real (as Lisbon points out- "it looks pretty real to me"!). When he's going down in the lift you can see how sad and dejected he is contemplating what he has to do, that he doesn't know when he will see Lisbon again and that he has to be a complete jerk to her cut her off and let her worry. I love this episode- it's so moody and emotional- and so well done!

      Esse episódio me deixa triste! Jane sofrendo muito com tudo que aconteceu. Jane estava muito nervoso, emocionado! Triste cena

    • @janewhiting2741
      @janewhiting2741 Год назад +3

      I know that this is all leading up to a fake breakdown in the hope that it leads to RJ and I understand why Jane is not involving Lisbon or the team, but he can see how much they care for him, esp Lisbon, so it does seem rather cruel of him not to give some signal or message about his plans. Maybe he thinks that Lisbon would try to stop him or become too involved. So I am torn about this scene.😢

    I never really liked Wainwright, and loved how Jane handled him. And Van Pelt was right, some people have to up their game when it comes to getting under people's skin. Like Jane did it to Wainwright in 2 sentences. Also, Wainwright was trying to act tough, he isn't nearly a soldier, and not enough a cop, as Jane said, he's a momma's boy. If anything, that little altercation was enough for me to convince this guy wasn't ready. I never really liked him, he was still a kid playing cop, while you had experienced adults who were badass and tough. Jane's not even a cop, not physical, unless it's Red John, or simply threatening a member of the squad, yet still more badass than Wainwright. Absolutely loved the way resolved it, the way he put Wainwright back into his rightful place.

    • @gaamz7345

      But this whole thing was a pretext to his subsequent move which actually makes it all the more perfect from a story screenplay standpoint of both Jane and Wainright's character incompatibilities.

    • @smurfyday
      @smurfyday 2 года назад

      I rewatched and noticed Wainwright was wrong on almost every single case, but he was absolutely sure of himself. I agree he's incompetent for the job. Didn't deserve the end, few do, but he wasn't likeable to me either. He does have good looks though, which a lot of people are okay with.

    • @berggaming8783
      @berggaming8783 2 года назад +3

      @@smurfyday I simply thought Wainwright was simply a child. Looked too young for the position. He reminds me of the woke position of the job, and Jane is the old school type of guy, yet still modern in most eyes.

    • @smurfyday
      @smurfyday 2 года назад

      @@berggaming8783 Don't know what you mean by woke. In my experience the only people who use that word are closeted bigots raging against things they make up like the CRT fights.

    • @berggaming8783
      @berggaming8783 2 года назад +1

      @@smurfyday I have no idea what CRT fights are, however, I probably didn't use that word properly, he just seems too soft for the law, I understand lawyers and police need to be understanding, however, handling people such as Jane or other tough hard guys, he wouldn't be the first person I go to to clean up the mess.

    This particular story bit was a little shark-jumpey, imo. Pushing the limit is one thing-- even pushing it to the extreme to orchestrate undercover work--but this would have permanently ended everyone's careers, I think. I feel like the writing could have been sharper. It was honestly pretty intriguing, though.

  • @QuB4ll
    @QuB4ll 12 лет назад +2

    I agree to that and I meant, that Jane slept with Lorelei and is still willed to break he. At least when they arrive at the CBI, Jane and Lisbin should have get the message, that their boss got killed! Maybe they have seen to much death in their own rows (I am not english, can I say "in their own row"?) and are hardened to such feelings.
    P.S. I am sry, you are right, its wasn't 4y. And you are right, that he hasn't killed Lisbon, maybe their is something goog in him left :-).

    do you mean the lorelei scene, where he says, that she is going to breakdown and tell them everything? I liked that a lot :D and I can't wait to see Jane breaking, I mean he was her lover and would still do that? I know red john has killed his fam, but 4y have passed, shouldn't the hurt and the feel for revenge gotten less strong? Even aftes his boss was killed, he didn't even think about how he mistreated his boss! maybe he will show some compassion in the next episode
