Seriously, that Lavar Ball clip you put into your "Why the WNBA Sucks" video made me cry laughing. And though I rock with the Warriors, you're right about Draymond. You actually helped me see the BS he's done to the Warriors from an objective standpoint. Draymond is what happens when you make too many excuses for the homie's behavior. Steph and Klay, that's on you guys. Hypothetically, if his behavior got in the way of winning titles and Michael Jordan was on the team, Jordan would have checked his ass along time ago.

The defense in the NBA is trash all together, and HE'S not playing defense. Plus, even on offense, he's lazy sometimes. Another thing is that maybe it's because I'm only 19 and haven't really gotten to that specific age to fully understand everything but I hate to say it and I'm one of them but nowadays nobody wants to sit at a 2 hour and a half or a 3 hour sports game where it's a low scoring defensive minded game, to be honest. 5:39 Can you imagine in the 2000s with a 1 v 1 competition? Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Ray Allen, Baron Davis, Paul Pierce, Steve Francis and a young Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade etc going at it with their competitive fire? And also the bigs like Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Webber, Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Chris Bosh etc going at it? It would have been must see TV. Now even if they implement it, the players dont care and they will just pull out because they dont want their ego hurt. They dont want to improve and prove in the court. They just want to run away and duck.

    • @someguy2385
      @someguy2385 3 месяца назад +1

I blame Lebron and Russ for it tbh. Especially Lebron he pretty much saves his entire career by averaging 27, 7, 7 and then people look at the stat sheets cus no one watches the game anymore and they say “it’s not his fault look at what he averaged” and now we’re in an era where if you average close to a triple double you’re pretty much safe from criticism no matter how you get your stats. As long as your averaging big numbers winning doesn’t matter, look at harden, Russ, Bron, Luka. People were ready to crown Luka a top 20 all time player simply because he’s almost getting a triple double

He wants to get both LeBron FANBOYS to subscribe to his channel by saying LeBron is the 2nd best ever after MJ, and he also wants LeBron HATERS (aka normal fans) to subscribe to his channel by OCCASIONALLY criticizing LeBron and berating the current sucky era. Dynamo THINKS - and has said ON THE RECORD - that Lebron is the 2nd best player ever. ANYBODY who SIMULTANEOUSLY thinks that cannot, and should not, be rewarded by subscribers.
      Dynamo:
      1. "The NBA sucks now"
      AND
      2. "Lebron," the ARCHITECT of this SUCKY era of the "point forward" (e.g. Luka, Harden, Jokic, Giannis etc), excessive 3s (e.g. LeBron has no midrange game), referees no longer calling the game according to the prescribed rules (LeBron TRAVELS religiously, CARRIES religiously, DOUBLE DRIBBLES religiously, OFFENSIVE FOULS his way to the rim religiously etc), and no-existent defense (LeBron hasnt played defense in 10 years), is somehow NOT THE PRIMARY REASON for this sucky era, and is the SECOND best player of all time.
Those two premises are fundamentally IRRECONCILABLE.
It's a CAUSAL relationship: the two LOWEST RATED NBA FINALS of the past 20 years both featured LeBron James:
2007 Finals and the 2020 Finals.
Steph Curry briefly resuscitated the NBA's ratings decline in the mid 2010s, but he was the sui generis of basketball players in that his shooting was just so spectacular it drew in TONS of casual viewers.
Dynamo is a FRAUD because ANYBODY who thinks LeBron Steroids James is the 2nd best player to ever live cannot and should not ever be taken seriously on ANY TOPIC that pertains to hoops.
IMO the easiest way to delegitimize your entire basketball nous (fancy word for knowledge), is to say LeBron is the 2nd best player ever when the guy is 1-2 in the Finals vs a consensus top 10 player in Duncan (and really was a miracle Chris Bosh offensive rebound-cum-Ray Allen three point shot away from being 0-3 vs Duncan in the Finals), and 1-3 vs Curry in the Finals, another consensus top 20-25 player all time, despite having 2 other HOFers on his team most 3 of the 4 Finals and at least one other HOFer in the other 1 Final (2017/18).

2 things 1 load management makes you more prone to injuries 2 they are not more athletic because they have more mass, it's the opposite, the more mass they have the less cardio and endurance they can stand plus if you know anatomy you know their muscles are not natural, there is a big difference in natural muscle like nate thurmond and artis Gilmore, those guys were natural and athletic they had endurance, played all games and plus 40 mimutes on both sides.Muscles doesn't mean nothing if it did bodybuilders would run faster than runner,.Muscle does not equal force either.People have no clue of those things this is why this narrative exists plus the more muscle you have the more prone to injuries you are, this is why Dwight and shaq had a shorter prime than other past centers like kareem, they were too heavy and their bodies couldnt perform at max for long

Commissioner Dynamo is a FRAUD. I USED to be a subscriber of his until i literally heard him say "LeBron is the 2nd greatest player to ever live." I almost puked. The easiest way for me to ascertain whether or not you possess GENUINE hoops intelligence is WHERE you rank LeBron. ANYBODY who ranks LeBron ahead of Kobe, IMO, knows NOTHING - and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - about hoops. I cannot take anybody seriously who has that take and i refuse to support anybody who is STILL propping up LeBalco Steroids James as the "2nd best player" of his era when it's not even clear that he's better than players of HIS era: Curry and Jokic - Curry has won more rings without another top 75 player than LeBalco AND Jokic has better advanced metrics than LeBalco, has a ring with FAR less help than any ring LeBalco has ever won, and clearly doesn't use PEDs. Heck, KD actually has BETTER career playoff averages than LeBron and BETTER Finals performances than LeBron.
PLEASE Unsubscribe from Dynamo. He wants to get both LeBron FANBOYS to subscribe to his channel by saying LeBron is the 2nd best ever after MJ, and he also wants LeBron HATERS (aka normal fans) to subscribe to his channel by OCCASIONALLY criticizing LeBron and berating the current sucky era (which many fans implicitly attribute to LeBron). Those two premises are fundamentally IRRECONCILABLE. The most promoted "star" of the past 20 years, and the "face" of the league is RESPONSIBLE for the general trajectory of the league. When MJ and Kobe were the best players in the NBA, ratings were HIGH and competition was high. When LeBron became the face of the league (i refuse to call him the "best" player in the NBA), the ratings have FALLEN despite the NBA reaching into the European, South American, African, Canadian and Asian markets for enhanced global viewership.

8:49 I remember there was a Nuggets game where Denver was on a 3 on 1 fast break and instead of going all the way to the basket, they decided to stop outside the 3 point line and shoot. That is when you know that fundamental basketball is dead. The midrange game is close to dead and the post game is non-existent unless you are Joel Embiid or Nikola Jokic. Back in the day all guards could post up, now they cant post-up to save their lives.

Those players so weak, in my opinion, for not wanting to do something simple that the fans LOVE like the dunk contest. The fans buy your merchandise, the fans buy tickets, the fans watch the games on TV generating ad revenue which generates the massive TV deals which in turn generates a massive sum which the players are entitled to. The fans made possible for these guys to have generational wealth and they can't even do something for the fans like the dunk contest. Stuff like this is a lot of why I don't like the modern NBA. They just don't seem to care about the fans much anymore. MJ and Dominique they took it seriously and competed for the fans. Where is that in the NBA today?

  • @bogdanoprea8967

I don't think they don't care, they are scared and afraid that a loss will end their money stream. And ofc, they're scared cause they know they have no skill, most of them. I played for a couple of hours some pickup bb on a court near me. I'm 40 years old, no fat but well, age...There was a kid, jump like crazy, tall. When we got into a 5 vs 5 and he had someone on him defending, a smaller guy as well, he couldn't do shit cause, wait for it, he couldn't shoot and he always traveled . We tried to explain to him, we could give him 1 step but not 2 or 3 more. Even when someone asked him what are the rules you know what he said? "Nba plays the same"... I rest my case

3:05 the All Star Game died with Kobe Bryant retiring in 2016. When you back to the Magic/Bird days, the Isiah/Jordan days or the Kobe/Iverson/McGrady/Carter days, the All Star Games were competitive. The 1988 was competitive, the 1993 was competitive, the 1998 one where a young Kobe was going at it with Jordan in Madison Square Garden, the 2001 All Star game with one of the best finishes, the 2003 All Star Game with Michael Jordan's final ever All Star Game, really loved the 2005 and 06 All Star Game as well and the 2011 and 2012 All Star games. Ever since Kobe retired in 2016, I count only one All Star game that was good, the 2020 one in Chicago where they commemorate Kobe's death with a great game, and another decent one in 2022 with the 75th Anniversary. It was terrible for the most part. Even the dunk contests and skills competition were lackluster.

On those 4 on 5s, the ref should grow a spine & call a technical AFTER the other team scores. In other words show these prima Donna’s how sh@tty they are for not getting back plus costing them another point so the world can see how gross the behavior is. Give the game announcers time to explain how despicable that is to your team and how selfish the individual is. Of course that won’t even matter because the announcers are all for that crap and have no balls to call these fools out. Coaches won’t bench the scumbags who constantly do it either so nothing really matters. Sad to say I think it’s beyond repair at this point

  • @bbobjs

What has never made sense to me is that people constantly call for players to be fined for flopping. I don't understand the logic here, best case you just price non-star players out of flopping and the star players keep doing it.
What actually needs to happen is that any player who flops gets ejected for AT LEAST one game so that the TEAM is impacted.

    • @TheRealMindCrime

@@TheRealMindCrime I guess I have a different perspective. Is it gross that players flop and load manage? Absolutely but do you REALLY think the players are the primary reason we're seeing it so much more frequently?
Personally I think in most cases management/coaches have made the short sighted calculation that it's better to erode the merit of the game with all this garbage and until the league actually punishes the source things will just get worse until we're basically watching soccer.

It sounded suspiciously like person motto, and that’s when I knew… these guys don’t care especially Mr. Longevity.
He could’ve have been great if he played HARD for 8-10 years and hung it up… leaving it all out of the court. Instead - like many others - he saved it up to milk that cash cow the NBA has become.

At this point the NBA is so bad and childish, they might have to start taking attendance and pay the players based on the percentage of games they do participate in. Refs should be monitored and if they miss calls or make bad calls; for each game, missing/making bad calls a certain number of times (ex. 5-10) should decrease their ref'ing credibility score & a certain number (ex. 10+) should be automatic firing and investigation for possible game tempering. Flops should be fined a minimum $100k-500k each to eliminate such behavior. Players talk with the refs but arguing with refs if without proper reason should just result in a technical. NBA was great in the 90s then it slowly went downhill. Recent years have just been horrendous esp with the examples shown in the vid & LBJ news

    What could be observed:
    - the best teams and the best NBA players can be kept under 100 points if there is a good defense. So we have an inflation of points in the NBA. Proven fact!
    - The US team had good players, but they were not used to facing a good defense and not making steps, travels, etc. We rejoice at "fake" statistics when we should rejoice if they were better NBA players.

When it comes to playing all star games if it is such a big honour for players to be named then why isn’t the game itself taken seriously??!! No matter how hard I try I just cannot fathom ,how much everyone, in and around the big 4 major leagues sports , talks about all star games and career ending injuries?? Like basketball has an 82 game season and it’s the nba it’s pretty solid but basically it’s non contact sport and players aren’t exactly dropping like flies from injury on a nightly basis. So why does everyone freak out about one game a year when the best of the best can test themselves against each other and give fans an amazing higher quality game to watch is given the name exhibition match and everyone has been brainwashed into thinking collectively this doesn’t mean nothing and playing for your actual team shouldn’t ever be affected and they have fixated upon the probability of injuries increasing exponentially if you take it serious. There is absolutely no truth in this whatsoever in fact from everything we know about sports it’s the exact opposite the harder you go the safer it is but somehow this has been confused over the years and continuing to play half hearted and randomly in these games will eventually get a casualty . And I guarantee you would feel like the biggest ahole on earth being ruled out of the rest of the season for an exhibition game but you call it an allstar game and make it mean something then you might not feel as much regret cause you where taking it seriously like the it was the finals

80% of healthy NBA players would win Lebron 1 on 1
