It happened at a North Shore break named Himalayas. In hindsight, I’ll bet he wishes they made a U-turn and dealt with the white wash, rather than launching into oblivion!

I used to always jump the large swell with my x2 Kawasaki and it would always be a soft landing as long as it was not too high… One of those dudes took a 25 foot launch that's crazy on the legs and the back.
You know the feeling when you cross the red light and thought shit this was close and then you look in the mirror and somebody is behind you even crazier 😂
That's ridiculously not safe.. I mean if they cleared the water for filming it's on them but if 1 person bailed into your landing or they become your landing 😵 drone shots only worth so much. Still that was fucking awesome 😎
After that happened I saw an interview from a guy on the back of that ski the person driving wasn't super experienced in big waves he was a guy from a media company and the guy filming on the back broke his back in a couple places
