when I'm starting to type the equal sign suddenly start appearing without me pressing the equal key it will only stop if I press Ctrl Fn, and if I press the plus and equal key it is not working at all

I have Windows 11. I searched for "language", then in the current language, go for the three dots and click on "language options". Finally, at the bottom look for "KEYBOARDS" and click on "Add a keyboard". I currently have a US keyboard, so I installed the one with the name "US" and it works fine.

It helped me troubleshoot my keyboard issues. The US layout keyboard produced different keys instead of numbers and symbols. I didn't have to contact our IT expert for help. I also had neither messaged nor called my tech-savvy colleagues for assistance. I was glad I figured things out with your help!

this fixed it thank you. idk if it was after an update that caused it to add the english-international QWERTY keyboard or not but it randomly stopped working one day. i just had to remove the international option and it fixed it.

Thanks GREATLY. This has been driving me bonkers, and it's now fixed thanks to your Windows 10 instructions in text at the end. One thing that isn't correct is this line in your intro:
Double quotes (") appears along with comma (,)
That is incorrect but close (it is not a "double quote" but merely a quote or, technically, quotation mark. This is what those keys show so what it should say, instead (this is the US keyboard layout):
Quotation mark (") appears along with apostrophe (')

@@brainerstech No👍🏿Worries✌🏿.As a matter of fact something did happen to me, the other day in windows 10, U see I was CMD scanning, & using PowerShell commands to sfc /scannow. & chkdsk /r in PowerShell command to make sure I didn't have any corrupted files or missing files📁📂🗂️, & I was stuck in Boot log default menu settings after I did a reset and I couldn't remember how to get back into just being in windows 🙀🤦🏿♂️10. So I was stuck in boot log default settings and I just gave up and said stuff it cos the chances of being in there is Dangerous especially if you're not used to it. & it's been such a📹long🤥⏳ time & so i restarted the computer because... I didn't want to mess with or touch anything in case I 🤷🏿♂️messed things up 🤦🏿♂️. Because everything has been changed and I forgot that if you press f8 now in my tower settings, at the beginning of start up,like U normally would, it doesn't take U to the black command settings 🖥️🖱️anymore where :safe mode: safe mode with networking: & the rest of the functions & other command options🤦🏿♂️. IT doesn't take you into safe mode anymore,which it use to. it took me to boot log default settings for some reason & I couldn't remember how to escape default boot menu settings, out of my worst nightmares because it's been such a long time I was🙀 a little bit stuck🤔.

this one works!! tqvm! just for information, the setting on latest windows 10 is different, so try play with it.
Setting>Time&Language>Language>Click on English(United Kingdom)>Option>Add keyboard>United States-International>delte the previous keyboard you have. and walla!!

Great resource. Although my issue related to re-establishing the U.S. Keyboard format on my 2019 iMAC Intel iCore 7 machine. So on my MAC, I went to System Preferences\Bluetooth\Bluetooth Keyboard\Removed device.
Next, I began steps to reconnect keyboard (you probably only to do this if you are trying to use a Satechi or a Logitech keyboard. These keyboards have the capabilities of being able to type on multiple computer systems, generally up to three simutaneously. It can type across multiple OS platforms, Microsoft Windows, Apple's iOS, etc.
Next, launch the Bluetooth connect icon on the targeted computer system, in my case, my iMac 2019. Follow the steps. The iMac will successfully identify the U.S. Keyboard, if this is the one you are seeking. The iMac will select the keyboard type automatically. If you carefully read the written instructions, or follow these two very simple steps.
1. Select the key on the immediate Right-hand side of the SHIFT KEY, on the left-side of your keyboard.
2. Select the key on the immediate Left-hand side on the SHIFT KEY, on the right-side of your keyboard.
3. Click Done
Test\ Type the "@" symbol on either a suitable application, Text-Pad, Word-Pad, MS Words, etc... If the @ sysbol prints correctly, your keyboard setting is correct, provided you are trying to type on a US QWERTY Keyboard.
