@@cobramystic_gaming1505 @slashyReacts This is something you should probably go for if you haven't. "The Day I left the Womb" from his days in Escape the Fate, and "Brother" from Falling in Reverse after he lost his brother. Both are just Ronnie pouring his soul out completely.
@@SlashleyReacts at the end of this video, it shows the world and the flames disappearing. If you watch their video to (watch the world burn) it ends with the world burning. That means this video is a continuance of that video. Somehow that song and this song go together in thought.
This gave me a whole new perspective on the original. It's also a great tribute to the original. This hits hard. If it doesn't give you goosebumps you're not human. Ronnie does a phenomenal job 🤘
You can literally hear and feel the pain in Ronnie’s voice that’s why it feels so different and much more emotional. You’re right though, those strings definitely help. I commend Ronnie for being this open about how bad his depression got and how he’s slowly conquering it. This version brings tears to my eyes every time
I love this because the original hit me deep when it came out when I was in 8th/9th grade because I had a history of depression and suicide attempts, my first suicide attempt was in the 3rd grade because I was born a tragic tortured individual, it’s a miracle that I’m still alive today, and I’ve loved Ronnie since the Escape The Fate days
Man, I really need to pay more attention to Falling In Reverse. Every time I see them pop up on a reaction channel I end up loving what they did and this take on a song from my youth is absolutely amazing.
"I wish someone would tell me I'm fine." That line hits me really hard. Ronnie has talked about wanting to be ok in Watch The World Burn. He just repeated that sentiment in this song.
This is a continuation of WTWB. The entire song is him ready to give up and him crying at the end is him finally letting his emotions go to begin the healing. The final 5 seconds is reversing all the damage done in WTWB.
1st. Love your content and your heart. 2nd. As an empath who has struggled with suicidal thoughts on and off this hits so hard. Ty for your genuine reaction
Soon as i heard this song when it dropped. I went and bought it right away. And i listened to this on repeat. It ran like 20 plus times. And yes when you hear that part, "Tell Me Im Fine". It would also make me cry. He out did it in this song. Oh i forgot to say to everyone. You Are Fine. You got this. Stay stong everyone.
This version really hit close to home. I remember listening to the original back in middle school and it was just something to bang your head to. This version was the one I never knew I needed back then. I loved your reaction!
This song, done this way makes me think everyone in the world feels this way inside. Some more than others, but in some way and in some point in their life needed someone to tell them they are fine. Some may have someone there just when they needed it to help them before it was too late. Some may have never had anyone when they needed someone and are gone. Or are to damaged that in their minds their world is gone to the point they are spiritually dead.
from escape the fate to falling in reverse i have followed Ronnie and what he puts out! He is always evolving and i will always admire him for it! i am glad he released this reimagined version! Makes me listen to the lyrics more than i did before! Thanks for the wonderful reaction as always Ash!
The hard Papa roach version. Now a ballad version by Falling In Reverse. Beautiful. It’s crazy that two weeks ago I was literally seconds away from ending it and my doorbell rang and it stopped me. My uncle just randomly showing up saved me.
This version of this song hits so deep. If you have lost someone close like your Mom or Dad, you understand the grief of that loss is a sadness that you did not know existed. This song takes you through the grieving period where this is exactly how you feel. From suicidal thoughts, to being so pissed at the world, to just wanting to hear everything will ok. Losing a loved one is like waking up every day for the rest of your life sad. Your default emotion is sadness, and you have to work 100x harder to just to feel fine.
This version of the song hit me deeply, i was here mentally at 16 when I was surrounded by death in my family. I lost my older cousin then to suicide, which started a chain reaction. Three months later my aunt(cousin’s mom) and uncle(cousins step dad) took their lives, after telling my other cousin and aunt how much they couldn’t handle the pain of losing their daughter. This hit my dad like a freight train, and he fell to addiction. By the end of 2006 I didn’t want to be around anymore. I was so young and I watched my entire family fall apart from this. I never did obviously, and when I got older I went to therapy and healed from this, but it was still a moment in my life i will remember vividly, the feeling of isolation and pain, not being able to express it and falling inward, because there was too much all at once. The main thing that kept me here was seeing what suicide did to the people around me.
Whoa! What an awesome interpretation of the original. I think someone has already mentioned in the comments how this version gives you a fresh perspective on the original. The point in the video where he is surrounded by debris and about to be buried by it all, and it's suspended just before impact.... One of the most visceral/powerful/descriptive pieces of video I have seen Utter chills. Glad to see you back
This take on this song by Falling in Reverse is fantastic. Ronnie does an amazing job pulling it into a new direction to really make those lyrics hit harder.
I think this song encompasses both aspects of depression. Jacoby expressed the frustration and self hatred from the lack of progress of the mental state he’s stuck in. Ronnie took the song and expressed the incredible seemingly never ending sorrow and just about to give up after trying for so long. I love both versions despite me not being a FiR or Ronnie fan.
All the emotions you felt during this I felt the same way. you were intriguied, then suprised, then loving it, then you can tell the EXACT moment that he got you into your feels, and the chills. I have heard this so many times and I still get chills. it is something I didnt know my heart needed.
Oh my gosh… literally got chills and smiling through tears as I watched this MV for the first time. This re-imagining speaks to me so much (and I adored the original) but I totally agree that this reimagining allows you to focus on the lyrics and yeah, I got chills in the same places you did. The emotion and rawness in his voice blew me away, the MV was understated and beautifully directed. The tie in with Watch the World Burn at the end was so subtly done but perfect. Ronnie is just incredible and I will never stop being a fan of his music. As an artist I use music to help me paint and I have struggled the last few years with depression but music and art always seem to keep me from going over the edge. This MV and song highlight just how important that one glimmer of hope is. I loved your reaction and I hugged myself too during my first listen. 🖤🖤🖤
This is more about the lyrics than the music as you can feel them more through this then the original where the sound blocks out the lyrics, it is more heartfelt than angry.🖤 🖤🖤

Can't say I ever thought I'd cry at fuckin Last Resort of all things but goddamn I knew it was to an extent but hearing it get broken down like this Instead of fast and heavy like the original you realize just how fucked up the song actually is and I couldn't help but get emotional
The lyrics just hit differently with this version. Never appreciated the lyrics until now. This song is incredibly epic!! His revamped version of I Am Not A Vampire was my favorite until now. This one's on another level.
I think we should talk about the meaning behind the lyrics and how Ronnie and Jacoby have so much in common. Their delivery is different, but they mean the same thing. I know Jacoby will likely see or have seen this reimagined version. Hard to imagine the emotions it will evoke, since the song written for a reason in the first place. I hope to see a reaction from Jacoby.
There is a video or where Ronnie is playing it to him. Obviously months before the release as it was unedited. I read somewhere they are really good friends
Goosebumps...... just.... goosebumps...... And quite a few tears.... 😭 The original song, came out at a godsend moment for me. I was dealing with a relapse (for lack of a better term to use) of a medical issue in my late teens that had my lungs randomly collapsing. Was in a really dark place due to the constant collapses + scars from surgeries..... the Original is what kept me from staying down and gave me the strength to claw my way back out of that pit. THIS is how i felt when i heard the original.. THIS is what i was hearing when i heard that original song... its what gave me the courage to not back down and give up. Yes i was 'head-banging' to the original (i even do the same to this version, just at a more sedated pace), but the feelings THIS song give.. are what i was dealing with at that moment... 5:10 = that moment when i was at my lowest during those days, literally teetering on a knife-edge ...... 5:13 + is what this song, in its original form, did for me.
This was an awesome cover. And the visuals were on point. Everything crumbling as youre contemplating ending it all (everything falling apart) and then talking yourself out of it (everything coming back together) just to relive it again day in and day out fighting back the urge. Hit so close. Beautiful rendition
Hello darkness! Great reaction to this. One of the best out of all reactions videos I've seen done with this song. Saw P roach over a decade ago and this song every one gets amped as do I. I just discovered this band not too long ago and am so enthralled by them and now hearing them do this rendition of P roach's version, I'm sorry to say I like this version. No disrespect to the original but this just does something to one's soul!🌹
Definitely dropping a sub and a like for ya here. The fact that you reacted naturally and didn't hold back is refreshing. Thanks for giving a different view on the video.....
Love Falling in Reverse but I put off listening to this one until recently. I heard the original before but not noticed the words, this version emphasizes the words and feels more keeping the music more as a support for the song. All beautifully done, Ronnie's voice just expresses pain and raw emotion so well and well the piano and strings are captivating.
I think the song done this way compliments the lyrics for sure. I'm dealing with Najor Depression and cPTSD, so it being done this way, hits me harder. I totally felt it. Thanks for the reaction. I love both but I have to say I'm older so I don't really listen to FR and I have to say, I'm impressed, and I appreciate this version a bit more. It drives the lyrics home to me personally.
It is crazy how the same song performed in 2 different ways can change so much. The original was putting my feelings to words back in the early 00. Now Falling in Reverse makes a version that resonates with me as a 40+ years old fart. Beyond amazing.
Everytime I listen 2 a new song by one of my favorite artists... I ALWAYS come 2 Ur channel 2 see if U've reacted 2 it 😊 No matter who it is; NF, Falling in Reverse, Ren, Linkin Park, ETC.. U always point out so many things that Ive missed or had slightly &/or totally misinterpreted, lol.. Usually do 2 missing small details in the lyrics/video that U always catch 4 us. I appreciate that Ur so well-versed in the technicalities involved in making the beats but also the layers, word play, & the double meanings that are in some of the lyricism; as well Ur knowledge of some of the artists personal historys & career historys that can sometimes applies 2 the content that Ur reacting 2 & can go a long way in helping 2 understand some songs. I also respect that you've yet 2 be afraid 2 say when U dont know something 4 sure, instead of making assumptions. & the fact that U include Ur audiences is admirable; including the efforts of U trying 2 make sure they know Ur paying attention. U are a great creator W/ a great attitude & a fun, playful, honest, intelligent, thoughtful, confident, & kind presence that shines in all of Ur content. Me & my family have watched 4 years. We also admire Ur dedication 2 Ur family, Ur art, Ur audiences. Ur personal growth has really shown through throughout the last couple years & in inspiring. Seriously. U are the American dream. Following Ur dream, while supporting a family(financially, developmentally & with love & effort put into quality time & all while pursuing a college education at the same time!!) RESPECT. U are an inspiration for all seriously. We also respect & appreciate that U always have respect, not just 4 Ur viewers, but also 4 whomever Ur reacting 2. Ur always as honest as U can be, with the knowledge that U have about the content & artist(s) tht Ur reacting 2. In my eyes (just my opinion) U give Ur opinion in a way that shows Ur openness 2 the idea that Ur opinions may vary, change, or they may or may not align W/others. Most of the time, when U give an opinion on something, U say it in a way that makes it appear obvious that there are other points of view out there 2 & its awesome that U are open & welcoming towards them. I know that breaking down someone else's art isn't an easy thing 2 do & with the respect that U give & the attention 2 detail.. I felt I should take the time 2 say that it is NOTICED & APPRECIATED. I do really enjoy Ur music as well. I just want 2 be completely honest & say that a lot of Ur songs have amazing lyricism & is definitely unique & U deserve more credit that U get. Some of the songs though.. are kind of hard 2 understand.. just some songs. I'm not saying U should change any of it though. I respect U & all U do.. from Ur music, 2 Ur reactions, & so on 😊 Always remember.. approach Ur music with the same attitude as U approach Ur audiences in Ur reaction videos; honestly, playful & dedicated & I feel like everyone will catch up eventually, lol. Me & my family THANK U 4 taking the time out of Ur life just 2 help us & others understand & see more out of the content that we already loved, THANK U for helping us understand new content, & THANK U for always making sure Ur audiences feel less alone & reminding them always to never give up! ❤Best wishes 2 U & Ur beautiful girls & lovely wife!!>
It hits hard knowing he nearly unalived in 2005, so he is singing that song from the heart. Pain can create such awesome music. Even Jacoby from Papa Roach said it was amazing.
this was amazing! papa roach was the first CD i ever bought when it came out.. i can say hearing it this way i was just blown away and the everyday thoughts ...
damn man right in the feels, love this version, big fan of original always related to it cause I suffer from PTSD, this just hits ya harder, great reaction ^^

Dude I cried it was so beautiful, we need more music like this. Also if the music video was more slowed down and not all over the place it would cut so much deeper.
Wow! It sounds so different from the original. If I wouldn't know the original so well I would never believe that it's the same song. This is so wild! ❤😊 By the way Ash, find out you need help, asking for help and let you help is brave, important and shows so much character. Great you do that 😉❤
I feel like this is reimagined with the spirit of how "My Heart is a Fist" by Papa Roach feels at the piano portion. Its one of my all time favorites by P. Roach. This is a great cover
I saw someone say about this song once: Papa Roach: We were angsty teens angry at the world. Ronnie Radke: We're broken adults, tired of the world. And that hits and feels so real and accurate. I'm 40 years old now and 20 years ago I rocked out to Papa Roach but this, this version cuts and really pulls at you.
I just saw the video earlier today Jacoby shaddix reacting to this version of this song it is so good I love Falling in Reverse Popular Monster would be my favorite by them
What a work of art, a true masterpiece. I L❤VE the original, but this is just taking it to a WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL! This is what music is. It moves you in a way you never knew was possible 🖤🫶🏻💀
I have always loved Pappa Roach, the original version is the angry teen who wants attention, and is talking about how they want to end things out of spite Ronnie's version, is the sad broken adult, who is crying out for help . I definitely cried listening to this version.
The video is outstanding but until I heard poppa roach original version that it truly got to me then I saw your reaction to falling in reverse's reimagened and the emotions came out as when in both versions it said it all started when my mother died I fell to pieces myself as that happened to me 7 years ago the pain never ends but the days get better accepting it and knowing all the education she gave me to go forward and live again. Peace out. Peace hope and love never end.
Ash, I love your reaction… I also follow another reactor and she reacted to this same song today and I was going to recommend it for you but you beat me to it! 🤪 also… I think you look cute in a hat 🤓
The fact that the lyrics are really broke down and I think Ronnie didn't have his mom growing up so you can feel the hard emotion. The bass and piano. Perfect tempo. 10/10
This version makes the lyrics a lot more prominent and powerful I feel like, I like the original but I feel like this version does the original message true justice
I sat with my anger long enough until she told me her real name was grief. C.S. Lewis Wow - Ronnie went even deeper with the song …how can a cover sound more like an original than the original?? 😂 no disrespect - I LOVE Papa Roach and the original. Probably listened to it 1.000.000 times in my life. But that was insane 🤯 I love both versions, cause if you go through something like that, you can relate to the anger AND the sadness
The orginal version feels like a depressed teen acting out and destroying shit because its the only way he can feel but this one comes across as that teen now a adult who has just completely given up and begging for help from those around him because he's at the end of his rope
It's as reimagined as sound of silence by disturbed. And just as great.
The line "it all started when I lost my mother" is so heavy just knowing how Ronnie didn't grow up with a mother.
And he also lost his brother
🥺🥺🥺

What’s cool is, Jacoby Shaddix(Papa Roach lead singer.) actually listened to the song before anyone else and gave his approval.

It is crazy how the same song performed in 2 different ways can change so much. The original was putting my feelings to words back in the early 00. Now Falling in Reverse makes a version that resonates with me as a 40+ years old fart. Beyond amazing.
I just saw that you're almost at 25k subs! Congrats!
All I know right now is your an angel Ash. You have compassion and empathy in spades. ❤
Thank you 🥺
It hits hard knowing he nearly unalived in 2005, so he is singing that song from the heart. Pain can create such awesome music. Even Jacoby from Papa Roach said it was amazing.
If you haven't done "I'm not a vampire revamped" then you should definitely check that one out
this was amazing! papa roach was the first CD i ever bought when it came out.. i can say hearing it this way i was just blown away and the everyday thoughts ...
damn man right in the feels, love this version, big fan of original always related to it cause I suffer from PTSD, this just hits ya harder, great reaction ^^
i hope you are doing well! this version is just really intense!!
@@SlashleyReacts doing a lot better then I was years ago thank you :)
its was beautiful love this band and the song
at the end of this video, it shows the world and the flames disappearing. If you watch their video to (watch the world burn) it ends with the world burning. That means this video is a continuance of that video. Somehow that song and this song go together in thought.
really like your reaction on this one, papa roach has been one of my best bands, and they really kill this version , so deep
I love this! Great reaction…gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
It's just super powerful!
It brings the lyrics of the song to light and exposes a deeper meaning behind them. And with such emotion….
what a great in the music video raw emotion and this gave me goosebumps
Dude I cried it was so beautiful, we need more music like this. Also if the music video was more slowed down and not all over the place it would cut so much deeper.
Awesome Reaction Video Ash Happy Tuesday hope you had a great weekend You're the best and I love you so so much 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
This is a beautiful cover almost gothic his voice incredible so is your look love it
Wow! It sounds so different from the original. If I wouldn't know the original so well I would never believe that it's the same song. This is so wild! ❤😊
By the way Ash, find out you need help, asking for help and let you help is brave, important and shows so much character. Great you do that 😉❤
appareciate you!!! i hope you are doing well!!
Everytime I hear this I start crying it’s just that good. But Ronnie killed it.
I hope you're ok! 🥺
@@SlashleyReacts aww of course it’s just super powerful and so beautifully done. ❤️🔥
ngl I want more reimagined stuff from Ronnie x.x cause he legit just has a way of making you feel the lyrics. He's amazing at what he does
I feel like this is reimagined with the spirit of how "My Heart is a Fist" by Papa Roach feels at the piano portion. Its one of my all time favorites by P. Roach. This is a great cover
I just saw the video of Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach reacting to this song and it's great.
This is an amazing version to an already great song.
last resort story of my life... great video Ash 🫂
Ash always doing great with the reaction! Both you and the song are beautiful ❤❤
Appreciate you!
@@SlashleyReacts thankyou!
I saw someone say about this song once:
Papa Roach: We were angsty teens angry at the world.
Ronnie Radke: We're broken adults, tired of the world.
And that hits and feels so real and accurate. I'm 40 years old now and 20 years ago I rocked out to Papa Roach but this, this version cuts and really pulls at you.
I do the rocking back and forth when I’m stressed or upset. 😊
I agree that they really can’t be compared. I thought it was beautiful ❤
It really was beauty 🥺
I go through this alot 😪 this song hits home
@SlashleyReacts I've heard people say that the original is for the angry teens we were and the reimagined version is for the broken adults we became.
Heartbreaking raw🖤🖤 Fvck his screams are under rated
I have always loved Pappa Roach, the original version is the angry teen who wants attention, and is talking about how they want to end things out of spite
Ronnie's version, is the sad broken adult, who is crying out for help . I definitely cried listening to this version.
Damnit!!! I'm really starting to dig this band..didn't think Ronnie would get to me but alas here we are!!
Don't cry.. your tears is too priceless
To be honest, I always vibed to the original headbanger .. but hearing it like this makes me hear and feel the lyrics better❤
Peace out. Peace hope and love never end.
this was a brilliant! cover/re imagining! btw I love the hat!
Appreciate it! And thank you!! You can snatch one up in my merch store if you want!! teespring.com/stores/slashleytvmerch
I've seen this band being reacted too alot, BUT NEVER LISTENED TO THEM YET
Ash, I love your reaction… I also follow another reactor and she reacted to this same song today and I was going to recommend it for you but you beat me to it! 🤪 also… I think you look cute in a hat 🤓
Ronnie channeled his inner hans zimmer! Incredible
C.S. Lewis
Wow - Ronnie went even deeper with the song …how can a cover sound more like an original than the original?? 😂 no disrespect - I LOVE Papa Roach and the original. Probably listened to it 1.000.000 times in my life. But that was insane 🤯 I love both versions, cause if you go through something like that, you can relate to the anger AND the sadness
The perfect tragedy of this song…🖤
we made this a meme, never considering the same emotion poured out by papa roach.
The orginal version feels like a depressed teen acting out and destroying shit because its the only way he can feel but this one comes across as that teen now a adult who has just completely given up and begging for help from those around him because he's at the end of his rope
