Ren has just handed a cheque for £21,000 to the Lifeboat station that went out for days looking for his friend Joe's body. He also popped in to Joe's parents house and gave them a cheque for £8,500 so they could buy a camper van and go travelling around the uk.
That's a beautiful gesture and doesn't surprise me at all! Ren you're an Amazing person!

@@SteveGouldinSpaini gotta say, the best empathetic cats come from really good owners. When I was vet nursing occasionally I'd meet a cat who could just read me. Could tell I was having a rough day at work and needed comforting. Without fail, their owner would be the same. Can't say I've ever met an empathetic cat with a fake owner. Cat people are great, but then again animal people in general are great. I don't have a cat at the moment, but my dog is a real character
This song of Ren displays the five stages of grief and brings with a sobbing hug from Joe's mom after showing this video, closure to all parties involved. As always a masterpiece from Ren!
The guy is exactly what this generation of music needs. He brings so much emotion into everything he does. I feel truly blessed to be alive to witness Ren in his prime. This is music people will be looking back on in years to come, and Im just so happy to able to say I was around when was releasing these masterpiece's.

@@Blackbutterflyt888 Your username interested me so I had a look at your channel/description. I grew up in a rural highly catholic village in Ireland, and all my taste in music and just general interests made me feel like such an outcast that I pretended to be someone I wasn't my entire life.
When people started the movement for acceptance of their pronouns and non-traditional genders I had hidden myself away so much that I was totally against it and thought it ridiculous. But I've grown since then just from watching videos and seeing how happy the people who have come out as their true selves have become.
I know this has been a bit of an essay so I hope you read it, because all I really wanted to say is that I wish you all the love in the world. I admire the people like you that haven't hidden away and have the courage to face the world exactly as you are. And thank you for being a part of a community that helped me grow as a person. I'm not LGBTQ myself, but the group has changed view of the world and made me a more accepting person. More power to you and everyone you love. ❤️

I first found him from an ad a few months ago drunk and watched it all it was called Hi Ren, The deep dive has been mad.

I think one of the most impactful things about Ren is that him showing us his fragility and humanity helps in a way to encourage people to show their fragility inhumanity to each other and perhaps we can build America back this way by coming back together as communities again and caring about each other instead of caring about necklaces and booty calls which is what the music industry seems to be all about nowadays. Ren brings intelligence not just in his lyrical ability but in his emotional emotive abilities too
Absolutely. And when it comes down to it. In this world, we need more people to speak openly about what's bothering them. And reach out for help if they need it🥺
The new piano arrangement under the Suic*de section is so beautiful, and then the swell into the second Buckley-esque scat part - oh my. And the genius of bringing this full-circle back to Freckled Angels, I’m literally speechless.
I was watching another reactor’s video for this (sorry 😊) in McDonalds at my lunch break today, and it still broke me. I was literally crying into my burger.

I don't think Ren thought he was going to deal with all of this when he first decided to release S. But the universe conspired to pkace all the circumstances and people tigether fir him to claim his healing. And he took all of us with him
He also made it more possible for others to FEEL and express their emotions. And know that it's going to be ok! Maybe not right this second.. but eventually
I said in the comments of the song that ren is the reson that im still here. Without him id be gone

If you watch the Knox interview Ren intellectually and logically knows there wasn’t anything he could have done that night but emotionally is another thing… the empty cup.
But notice there is a bottle of light (lights) to fill the empty cup.
The previous produced video was dark and filled with pain and frustration. This starts with that pain but continues with what Joe and all his actions has taught and given Ren. That bottle of light to fill the empty cup. Not only a crafted masterpiece but preformed extremely well with the help from Sam.
Ren truly is touching many souls is such a powerful way. Lovely reaction.

Thank you so much Ash. I was kinda avoiding this one- having a good cry is one thing but Ren can really cut deep, and I wasn't ready to face this one alone. So the second I saw you'd done a reaction I knew that I'd be ok watching it 'with' you. I remember being 5 years old and my grandma would say that freckles are angels kisses so this hits hard. She passed when I was 5 and she was a freckled Irish sweetheart. She's my freckled angel ❤❤

With Luck Ren has or will get some release from the worst of his grief. Grief is a thing that must be processed, for some its faster for some its much much slower.

Ren donated 21k which was raised for RNLI ( Royal National Lifeboat Institute ) who searched for Joe all volunteers amazing thing to do Ren also gave Joe's parents 8.5k which they are using to buy a camper van which they are naming JOE

This one hits hard because of all the Friends and family I've lost as well as the brothers I've served with that have taken their own lives. And the everyday battle withing my own head to stick around on this earth hoping for something better. About now my band is the only thing keeping me from saying peace out. If we weren't gaining traction and having some of the biggest hardcore bands backing us and Joe Duplantier of Gojira wanting us to record at his studio in Brooklyn and produce our album I would've been like, later suckers lol. I have good days and bad days, some even worse than worse days. But I'm also a Taurus and Irish so I'm too stubborn to give up on life I guess lol
But Ren is back in the UK for a month doing more filming and yesterday was in his hometown back in Whales and gave a check that was originally 14,000 British pounds to the volunteer organization that was out immediately looking for Joe after he jumped and kept looking for him for days. The money was raised by us fans from a fundraiser Ren set up. But he ended up giving the proceeds from his album "Freckled Angel's" Which he wrote and sung at Joe's memorial when he passed. But the album sales from his recent release of the CD ballooned it to 21,000 pounds.
Then he met with Joe's parents for the first time in 12 years and gave them 8,600 pounds also from the money made from the song. He played them this song, For Joe, said they all cried and hugged. His parents were besides themselves because they've been saving up for a camper van they wanted to name Joe and travel all over the UK and with that money they can finally afford it.
He posted news clips from his visit and also bugged people out because in one news interview he was speaking Welsh and people were so confused lol

I feel like the bottle was a metaphor for Joe, being ‘lightening’, which you can’t catch in a ‘bottle’. Like, Joe was too much for this world, so you can’t hold him. Sorry, it sounded better in my head. 🤦🏻♀️
Never get why its called "mental health"... I consider it more as "Mental sickness" because if my mental state was healthy, I wouldn't suffer. If your body is healthy it's running how it should, it's closer to homeostasis... so "Mental health" is what we all want... not the depression, anxiety and unhealed trauma that me and many others go through and battle daily. 🤷♂️ 💜🇦🇺
