Meldrick Taylor one of the best to come out of Philadelphia
Taylor was never the same after Chavez
Una pregunta está pelea d Taylor fue hantes d con Chávez????
@@martinhernandez-gz2zpSi correcto.
They keep talking about punching power give Taylor he’s Credit nobody just walk through Taylor he had great speed and Enough power to keep guys honest meldrick Taylor was a Warrior a all time great in the sport of boxing
Taylor was great until he foght to Chavez, that was the end of his career
Ramos was a tough cookie, I remember Don King never agreed on a Chavez - Ramos fight. The words of Taylor at the of the bout, he told interviewer "every time a Mexican it's going to get tough " those words will come back to hunt Taylor years later against Chavez
Cat like reflexes! Before their was Jones their was Taylor.
In Mexico, Mexican fans were frustrated not to see a JC Chavez vs Primo Ramos bout. Even though Chavez would have been favorite, they still wanted to see that match
Primó Ramos lost.twice to Terrance Allí but he did knockout Frankie Randall frankly very easily
@@reycesarcarino4653 but Mexicans knew that Ramos would have been a nice little challenge for Julio. At that time, in Chavez the lightweight or superlight weight, Chavez was no. 1, Jose luis ramirez number 2 and primo ramos number 3, in terms of boxing.rank in Mexico. Is like Chavez and Ramirez promoters didn't want a showdown with Ramos, even though in Mexico we wanted to see those bouts
@@carlosocon1378 Yeah but Chávez did face Juan Manuel Soberanes a Regional Champion who beat Roger Mayweather
@@reycesarcarino4653 I am not saying Ramos would have beat Chavez, but he was a fan favorite in Mexico as well. He had a jaw like Chavez and ramirez, is a northern Mexican thing, the solid jaw
@@reycesarcarino4653 soberanes did hurt julio 😆 when they fought, one of the rounds Chavez walked back to his corner a little shaky but in the next round Chavez came out with a vengeance and finished off Soberanes.
Primo ramos won this fight. Boxing robbery.
Meldrick Taylor ganó bien, si acaso el último round fue para Primo ramos, el resto para Meldrick
