Exquisite pen. I have a GP version of the same and its no. 2 nib is superb, though the pen's overall condition is not quite so pristine. If someone out there has the money but doesn't buy it...he's a galah!
I have a very similar pen although it is worn more than yours. I've taken it apart but I'm terrified of trying to replace the sac which was in bits of "shrapnel". I'm in Sydney so am looking around for someone local to finish what I've started. It's also engraved with someone's initial - sadly. I'm in your corner on this, I don't want to sell it, its a magnificent piece of the pen maker's art and well worth keeping for myself.
When its fixed and in action I'll post a pic. I dipped the nib before taking it apart and it was one of the best nibs I've ever used so definitely getting it fixed.
A totally beauty of a pen , i think it is great. It is in amazing condition , thank you for showing us this lovely pen 😊
My pleasure 😊 thanks for watching.
Wow, what a stunning pen … even the box is a beautiful piece too ..
Yes it is and as you say complete with the original case. Cheers
Wow! Just wow! What a specimen!
Wow indeed, its a stuinning pen. Thanks👍
A real beauty, I still have the gold Mabie Todd made in U S A from you and its flex is incredible.
Its a stunning example. Im glad you are enjoying your pen. Thanks
What a stunning find. You are lucky enough to find such a rare treasure.
Yes indeed it is, unfortunatly not so lucky with what i had to pay for it.
Quite a find you have there. A 95 year old stunner.
Yes i was rather lucky with this one, but not so lucky with my wallet. 😊
Cracking find Stef would be a keeper if it was my find
But it does not help with the pen buying fund, so its available at a price. Thanks

Yes it is Bruce. Well the price has to be right with these pens. Its not a £50 pen.
Hoping that the purse fills up quickly with gold coins to offer us new adventures 🎉
No pen hauls for the foreseeable future, unless there is a drastic change in sales.
@penkino1 Difficult to remain in control of events.
@@louishalleux Hopefully just for a short period and things will improve. Thanks

Beautiful pen. Lucky find but somewhat complicated filling mechanism.
If the correct sac is installed then it is not complicated at all. Thanks.
Rather a premium item! It would have made quite an impression in the Boardroom.
Wouldn’t you love some cocky young thing to flash his MB 149 about just before you bring out this beauty.
Mic drop moment.
Indeed it would have and still would im sure. Thanks
@juicylouisey Ha ha that would be nice to see.
Old pens are smaller. But your hands make them seens even smaller.
This is not a small pen even with my large hands. Cheers.
I would like to buy it from you!!!
All inquiries by email, thanks.
A Swan pen was retrieved from the Titanic shipwreck, and I think it is still on display at a museum.
Yes i believe so, i wonder if it still works. Thanks
They really liked their imprints at Mabie Todd, didn’t they?
Nice to see them so clear though. Thanks
Note to self: Purchase item after lottery win.👍👍
Ha ha, yes that would be the case i think. Thanks
