o7 to you too. Your thumbnail is PERFECT (that's totally your everyday J2M3 and my everyday A6M5, avatars of ourselves). Thank you for this Masterclass training session, I am humbled. It was super fun! Some key learnings I got from this session: - Hayabusa vs Hayabusa: Whoever grabs the 1st turn wins. I can not shake you at all when you are on my six. - Hayate vs Hayate: I still have no clue how to beat you in the Hayate haha. - J2M3 vs A6M5: I've had a very similar fight in Alex's last tournament. BNZed for days. I hope I've learned from my mistakes. - I-153 vs Hayabusa: Yepp, this is the cure for the I-153. - J2M3 vs Spitfire Mk. IX: This is very dangerous. Even with "Discount Avetorro" on the wheels, it is still a strong performer. Thank you so much for our training and discussions. Let's train some more!
Thank you very much! - Hayabusa vs Hayabusa: I arrived at the exact same conclusion as you, I couldn't reverse the fight once you were behind me (good to know if we are to face Diomic and LoyalUKGamer) - Hayate vs Hayate: I made an extensive usage of combat flaps (you can use them til 470 kph) - J2M3 vs A6M5: Yeah I saw your fights against Poseidon. You were impossible to catch, I probably came down too fast (the J2 compresses a lot past 500-600 kph) but I feared not to have enough energy to zoom out properly... - I-153 vs Hayabusa: That one should be alright - J2M3 vs Spitfire Mk. IX: Yep, that one's tricky. It climbs very well, turns better than the J2 and can dive as well. Fortunately you'll be in a Zero, hopefully we'll be complementary :) Thanks to you for taking the time to train with me, and yeah, let's train some more!
- Hayabusa vs Hayabusa: true, they're both bringing the Hayabusa. That'll be very challenging. - J2M3 vs A6M5: I think its ok for you to just dive fast, if you compress and miss just reset straight up. It's more dangerous if you don't have enough speed for the climb.
quick question, is your quality inside the VR the same as the one shown in the video? The quality of my oculus quest 2 sucks, wondering if people got similiar problems :( But nice video as always!
Thanks! No it's not the same quality, but not very far from it either. I bought a Reverb G2 a few months ago to replace an Oculus Rift S and the improvement was huge (I went from 1280x1440 per eye to 2160x2160 per eye)
Thanks man! Yeah those "arranged" duels are very different from fights in a normal EC game, where you can take the time to position yourself (or get surprised). Interesting.

Really awesome stuff, you two are a formidable duo!
Thanks man, appreciate it! Lots of good pilots in this tournament, it's gonna be hard!
Respect! Great dogfights to watch and.....study 👀
Thanks man! I studied your fights with Avetorro as well... :)

@@ATC83 I might do that aswell, thanks :]
Nice flying chaps, interesting to see the different techniques involved with each aircraft.

33:36 that was me cosplaying as you (and your lovely Mk. IX). He literally said, "who's gonna be Avetorro?" :D
@@ATC83 yes I came to the same conclusion very quickly. Who different approach needed!
@@reggiekoestoer1511 haha you did me proud though. I rarely beat him in that J2! Which mkIX are you using?
@@Avetorro haha glad to know I did! It was the F Mk.IX..so I guess it is better for high-altitude work?
Is that vr??
Yep!
