I believe that one is Asobo, not Just Flight, FSTL or AIG behave the same way, Asobo has a tremendous ToDo list regarding AI Traffic...but I guess their primary focus is adding PoI or things like that for now.
Offline flight plans that you can edit and create... yes please. Been waiting for this ability since launch. Creating custom flight plans offline was a game changer back in FSX/P3D for folks like me that edit airports.
Interesting approach that'll appeal to some. However, for me FSLTL wins it. Live traffic based on flightradar24 is more interesting, and they have a 'radius around you' approach to traffic generation which means diverting somewhere else always reveals the traffic at somewhere other than your destination. This also works better for me, as often I'll pootle around, or realise I'm out of time and need to end a flight early and go land somewhere else.
Live traffic is great, agreed! With FS Traffic the system still is essentially a radius system bar the fact you need to select a destination. If you divert you can simply select a different destination.
They all have there pro’s and cons. When I have time to fly is msfs. There i not much real life traffic. So FS Traffic would be a nice option. AIG is very slow and difficult to keep up to date.

@@michakwiatkowski4527 I disagree. FSLTL isn't super bad, but for me it eats up frames more FS Traffic. Not only that, but the injector seems to inject static aircraft from all regions regardless of wherever I am. I tested FSLTL recently at Taipei Intl and even though I'm no flying expert, I'm pretty sure JetBlue and HOP by Air France don't fly to that airport lol. Any time I've used FS traffic, it always places proper aircraft and airlines at their respective airports.
It does eat up more frames but by default it also injects far more aircraft. You can change this in your injector settings. I haven't had any issues with the wrong planes at the wrong airport with FSLTL, it's certainly not designed to do that. All I can think is that there may have been some missed steps in the setup, eg. Ground aircraft density not at 0
Hey! I got a little question : how to get more traffic at the arrival airport? 🙏🙏🙏 For example, when I land at an airport, there are only few aircrafts which is kinda noisy when I am at big airports such as EHAM or KATL... Do you know any setting to change that?
FS Traffic can be a bit fickle with arriving traffic I've found but theres a couple things you can adjust; (1) traffic density using the in game panel and (2) in the FS Traffic Control Centre, in Options, increase the 'Time Vefore Departure Value (Mins)'. Hope that helps!
In this video you show the FPS difference but in your FSLTL video you don't. What is the difference in performance hit in FSLTL so we're able to compare the two?

Hello. Thanks for the video. I'm curious, does it work with small airports as well? Or just bigger regional and International airports? I find some of the other Traffic addons only focus on the bigger airports. Thanks
Excellent Video mate! As anybody experienced CTD when hitting "Ready To Fly"? If so, has anyone found a solution for this? It looks great but so far not working from my experience :(
Thanks dude! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Do you have Flight Control Replay? I know their in sim module conflicts with this at the moment. Otherwise, best thing to do is empty your community folder and re add until you find the culprit as this definitely does sound like a conflict of some kind!
@@BobbyFuzzy thanks for the reply mate yes I do have flight control replay… tomorrow I will try uninstalling that and re installing FS Traffic…. I will let you know how it goes in the hope in can help someone else. Cheers!
Yup, for the price of it, I'll 100% be sticking with FSLTL for the long term I reckon... No need to spend so much money, for something you can get for free thats almost identical...
Check out the FAQ in the manual and you will find the answers to both those questions 🙂 But in short to answer your questions (1) maybe, depending on airport and (2) try waiting a little while
@@BobbyFuzzy thx, also last question, why when i changed time before departure value to 240 all planes disappear, and when i set it to 5 there are just any planes in airport, and when i set to 90, there are good amount of planes, like what "time before departure value" do and how to make it more planes spawn in airport and make them take off very often like every 5 minutes? also where can i find FAQ?
@@Windrose8Max FAQ in the manual - downloads.justflight.com/products/JFF003616/FSTraffic_MSFS_manual.pdf Time before departure value is as it sounds - the amount of aircraft that will spawn based in minutes before it's departure time as per the schedule as set in the FS Traffic Control Centre. The number of departing aircraft you see is also based on this schedule. If you set the figure very high you may find aircraft are invisible due to the issues regarding the object count in the sim, similar to setting up with GSX and/or large payware airports.
One pretty daunting issue I found was upon installation, the .exe files (especially the one that wasn't the "fleet" one), took forever to install-- like around 12 hours! The other one that said "fleet", about 1 hour. What's more the blue progress bar did not give you percentage of progress, nor did it tell you what it was doing while doing it; so, I had no idea if the .exe had hung-up on me or not. What's more, the progress bar has no outlined frame, so you can't tell how long it is... all you can see is the part that is elapsed. However, once it was all loaded and I followed the instructions, it ironically worked as it was supposed to-- minus the empty arrival airport and the planes in the wrong gates. I attribute that to the newness of the program and assume they will get that fixed up soon enough. What's ironic is I've heard lots of people complain about the accuracy of the program and how it works, but apparently, I'm the only one who has complained about the .exe installs? So hard to believe that nobody else had my problem. Goes to show we each have our own crosses to bear, when it comes to installing and running new programs.
Certainly does! I think the install took around 5 mins for me? I suppose it will depend on the type of drive potentially as there are many small files. The design of the installer is the same as all just flight products. I don't know many that give you a % these days! Regarding the arrival airport, did you set your destination in the module per the quick start guide? Traffic in the wrong gates is also covered in the FAQ in the manual, too.
In terms of VATSIM model matching, I heard you say it has 700+ liveries, but in terms of the type of models does it rival FSLTL? Right now I have vmr files stacked in vPilot so it looks to FSLTL first, then AIG for matching. Would you recommend this to compliment those, and if so have FS Traffic at the top of the priority list? Thanks for the video!
If you're using multiple packages yeah for sure you could do that. The default FS Traffic VMR does have a bunch of fallbacks in it though so in some cases you may find it doesn't use anything lower down the list if you put it at the top. You'd need to go into the model matching section in the traffic controller and have a play around with that to make sure you leave some 'holes' for the other VMRs to pick up on.
@@BobbyFuzzy Ah ok cool, thanks for that! Also, just found their list of included aircraft on their website...it was in a menu I hadn't unfolded! Thanks again!
I found this in the FS Traffic Manual: Why does cruise traffic not communicate with ATC? In order for cruise traffic to be present in FS Traffic, it has to be generated in such a way that makes ATC interaction not possible for these aircraft. Unfortunately this workaround is caused by a limitation of the default MSFS cruise traffic. Well, I could hear cruise aircrafts communicate with ATC with AIG and FSTL, so why on earth isn"t this possible with FS Traffic? Flying silent over Europe? Not for me!
does the 'time before departure' effect the amount of airlines at the arrival airport when you get there? Every time I arrive (usually a 1-2 hour flight) I either see 3-6 planes or nothing at all... and I'm landing at JFK and Logan. I feel like I should be setting time before departure in the thousands to show more aircraft at arrival airport 1-2 hours after departing
Having just installed FS Traffic, upon spawning into an airport, although it generates static aircraft on the ground I am not seeing any moving AI traffic. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
I tried adding some of the FSLTL aircraft (75/76s, E175s, etc,) and when they load in the textures are all messed up (vertical stabilizer paint on fuselage, engine textures, on tail, etc). I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s happening. I did have good luck creating new routes for flights I felt are missing though and adding flight plan routes to some of them!
@@BobbyFuzzy Yeah I found out I added the AIG models instead of the FSLTL models. The FSLTL models work great, but not so much with the AIG models so far.
Have you tried a reinstall? Since release I've had this happen a couple of times and a reinstall fixed it. Another easy thing to try is restarting your computer a couple of times. Sounds bizarre but actually worked for me one time I had an issue similar to this.
Been messing around with it for the past two hours now and just cannot get any traffic generating. Gone through the entire manual in case I missed anything, I've tried reinstalling it - twice. I've gone into the Traffic Control Center and even turned off all ground services for them and still won't load. As of writing this message I can now hear an aircraft, a singular aircraft, I just can't see it...at this point I'm lost and feel like I've just thrown money away. Not sure what to do now...
If you can hear it but can't see it that alludes to an issue with hitting the simobject limit I was talking about in the video - I'd personally double check your ground services config in the control centre (note that you need to restart the sim if you make any changes here).
@@BobbyFuzzy Already done this and unfortunately not working, even disabled every individual ground service in the control centre and still can only hear and not see. PC specs won’t be an issue with it and LOD shouldn’t be an issue as it doesn’t work even at default airports (tested out the default scenery at Edinburgh as I know I never fly there). I suppose I’ll just wait for a fix?
How are you managing to get FSLTL and Just flight FS traffic working together ? As I install FSLTL base for extra liveries , my Justflight Fs traffic won't turn up in the sim . Any help ?
Just down loaded this and following your quick start guide all i get is default aircraft. Also i can't find the manual. Only one icon appears and when i click it a message appears its already running.
Restart your PC, open the traffic control centre and try the manual again, should work fine. Otherwise there's a link in the description of this video to the manual. The FS Traffic injector won't inject any default aircraft, double check you've gone through the quick start guide steps properly is what I'd suggest first 😊
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for the reply The control center icon appears on my desktop but i click on it iget a message. Already running Nothing happens. I tried running as administrator but nothing.
I purchased this and set everything according to installation instructions and your video and several others. When I go up to the MSFS Toolbar and select FS Traffic, I put it the destination, hit confirm but it never injects any traffic. I've tried it at KDFW and there should be ton's of traffic there. I've hit remove traffic and regenerate traffic but still no traffic injects. Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks for any help and by the way, great video!

The models look insane, but I really want to know the performance between this and FSLTL, which has been out for a while and looks amazing with decent performance
This traffic is not following the real life patterns happening at my airport. In phoenix it's showing departures to the west when in reality when checking flightradar24 the departures are to the east at the moment.
Loving FSLTL, but I'm enticed by the offline routes. I like to fly at different times of day. I'm guessing this is probably pretty similar in concept to world traffic in x plane (a must have). But I'm nervous about 💰. Does this integrate with FS Hud ATC? Or just use the in game atc?
My policy in flight sim addons is that if I'm not sure - I just skip it until I'm convinced - saves disappointment 🙂 It just uses in the in-sim ATC at the moment.
@@BobbyFuzzy I've been using FS Hud atc along with FSLTL since they got them integrated. I'll have to try your settings. I was on high preset with my 1070. Now that I have a 6800xt I bumped to ultra but don't really see great performance at high settings either. Unplayable now at larger airports even with no mods running...and what's the fun of an airport with zero traffic.
@@BobbyFuzzy 2560x1080. So I'd expect a little lower fps that 1920 but performance is at a lot of airports the same if not worse than with the old GTX 1070
Did you take note if your GPU was the limiting factor when you upgraded? If you're CPU limited (which most people are in MSFS) it's likely you won't see that big of a performance bump just by changing the GPU alone.
Subperb vídeo. I only hope ASOBO feels some pressure with this release and improve the simulators AI Traffic behavior. It's such an immersion breaker those low level flying, and long time taxing, and take long time to roll... And on and on and on
Had an AI plane land yesterday on a parallel RWY and then suddenly do a 90 degree turn and barrel its way across my RWY and on to oblivion I guess... Needs to surely be fixed.
thank you for a great overview video, I've been eagerly awaiting this product release. I hope to see some more in depth performance comparisons between this and FSLTL in the days to come but I do have a few questions: 1. does FS Traffic only inject ground traffic at the origin and destination airports (i.e. if I fly over airports along the way they won't have any traffic?). 2. just to be clear, using the historical flightplan data, if I change the time of day in the sim I will get traffic based on that time of day (currently with FSLTL when I fly somewhere but it's really nighttime there I only get parked planes but no traffic, assuming since it's using real time data)? 3. Are there any future plans for interaction with offline ATC's like Piolt2ATC? Thank you.
Hey Lior, thanks! 1) Yes, 2) Yes but I'd recommend changing the time before you load into a flight, 3) I'm not sure on that one - perhaps one for the JF forums.
Released shortly after this video. Really enjoy it. Only issue I have found is, with traffic set to 100%, approach spacing is really bad. Planes are on top of each other. Constant go arounds. I set traffic to 50%, and seems much more realistic.
Looks great, I'm a bit confused about the combination wit GSX Pro. Do I have to disable GSX in the FS Traffic settings? I like to use both, preferably they interact with each other at the airfields
I would personally look at reducing your ground services in the FS Traffic Control Centre if you want to run GSX. Especially if you are using high detail large airport addons otherwise you may run into the issues I described.
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for the answer, so the combination of GSX and FS Traffic is possible. Just for my information, does reducing ground services in the FS Traffic Control Centre affect FS AI generated traffic only, or both FS & GSX? and what would be a good number in the FS Traffic Control Centre settings to get FS Traffic & GSX working reasonably good (now running general 30FPS on i9 RTX3080 in 2k on 3 Monitors at mix high/medium settings)
Just got it...must say it is quite fps friendly...however i do not notice any heat blur or touchdown effects; am i missing something? I am using fstraffic's inbuilt injector!!!
@@BobbyFuzzy thanks bobby...noticed heat blur on the airbus but not the boeing...had to look very closely...touchdown effect is definitely not there...
I think JF have added to our enjoyment by specializing in ai traffic simulation depending on you’re time and date of flight. FSLTL excels at providing ai traffic based on real time FlightRadar24 readings, regardless of you’re sim time and date. Sometimes I only have time to fly a favourite airport and plan when there would be little to no real time traffic.
As Darthwayner commented that will likely be some of the reason they chose to go this route. On top of that a live traffic system already exists within in the sim which is compatible with the FS Traffic models so perhaps that also contributed. I believe FS Traffic has always been an offline product, however.
Is the stacking up of AI planes at one location at the original airport on a return flight resolved with this? Currently all AI systems including MSFS’s own AI traffic have this issue!
How comes if generates once, then it never re generates and I have to restart the sim to make it work again? After roughly 2 spawns the traffic doesn’t show up anymore. They need to fix this ASAP!. As it’s annoying keep having to restart the sim.
I suppose theoretically it is. You would need to be familiar with the mod creation process though as it wouldn't be as simple as adding in a texture, I imagine. That being, said there is no paintkit for FS Traffic as far as I know.
@@BobbyFuzzy aha. i see, but its the texture painting which is hard, right? Is it still possible to for example create a custom route, with a custom airline code assigned to it, and then make an aircraft fly that route?
Great video @BobbyFuzzy! I see that in some of your clips, you are following a specific AI aircraft. Does FS Traffic then have a "follow me" option wherein you can just simply follow an AI plane with the camera?
Hey Benix, thanks! 🙂 No it doesn't - I got those clips using the dev mode SimObject debugger. If you're interested in how to I cover it here - ruclips.net/video/jJSyJ9az8vk/видео.html
On approach/departure as long as you are using the MSFS ATC they should keep some separation to you. That being said the MSFS AI system isn't perfect and there may be some times when this doesn't happen! Unfortunately a limitation of the sim.
Since I have to keep FSLTL installed to see the vast majority of the airplanes at my main airport (757s & 767s) I might as well just stick with FSLTL and save the disk space and money.
Thank you for the video! Do you know how accurate the models takeoff from active runways? The issue with FSLTL is traffics normally takeoff from completely wrong runways. Although, I heard this is an issue with MSFS but not sure how does FS Traffic work in this regards.
I think even fstraffic will not correct this problem because it is based on the basic injection system of asobo as with fsltl and aig from what I understand.
Emanuels comment is correct - this is a sim issue as the sim will always put the active runway as the one with the most HW component, regardless of other operational factors.
@@BobbyFuzzy I wish putting the runway with the most headwind component was the case. It has happened a lot for me when the traffics in FSLTL were taking off from the runway with the most TW component actually! Completely different from the runway suggested in simbrief or flightradar. In Amsterdam with a couple of unparalleled runways, I’ve almost never seen a traffic taking off from a make sense runway.
Haha the only way this will be worth money and more necessary than FSLTL is if corrects and improves the default AI Traffic behavior with no go arounds and stuff
Im still sad we don’t get proper takeoff and landing animations….looks so dumb at 17:48. I know it’s an Asobo limitation but I still had hope FS Traffic would change that.
Thank you so much for your overview of this new add-on, the level of detail on the planes is amazing. Looking forward to your detailed review of this. Your sim graphics are so crisp and sharp, do u use any grraphics mod? Will you share your current grraphics setttings please? Thanks a lot!
Yeah sure, add them in the Traffic Control Centre aircraft manager and then you can add some flight plans for them in the flight plan manager. The finer details are in the manual! You'll need the aircraft.cfg for the planes in question to hand to use the name in the TCC.
Can I sit on the side and "plane watch" for as long as I'd like (with my aircraft on, and my simulator in drone mode)? Or will it time out, and ideally it's better if I'm just flying the plane?
Great Video and Thank You. Can I assume that you did not have to remove the FSTL(AIG) application? I was wondering if it there would be duplicate ai craft or routes.
I think it's a matter of personal preference - FSLTL = more traffic, liveries, models, online only. FS Traffic = less traffic, offline flight plans + customisation
There are two things I would trade for some of the bonus features of this addon: Airlines spawning at their correct terminals and GA representation. I have never cared about devs spending time mimicking real world schedules, implementing heat blurs, or having authentic audio. In fact, planes can disappear at 10,000 ft for all I care....I just want authentic ground traffic so the airports are less shit.
Bit hard for me to justify $40 when there is no improvement to the AI behavior (still no flare, only straight pushback etc) when there are great freeware products like FSLTL and AIFlow/AIGround (who can improve the AI, but a payware can't?)
That's a fair comment. In my view it comes down to different developers and priorities. The lack of commerical pressure in a freeware project will play into this too. That being said, I've not noticed an enormous difference in the AI behaviour in FS traffic when compared to FSLTL. I've not used AIG offline in quite some time.
Have you tried tweaking your graphics settings? Running with nothing but FS traffic in your community folder? Under what condition does the CTDs occur?
FCR, PMS GTN750, Toolbar Pushback. Easy method - move everything from your community folder into a temp folder, test, then start readding assuming no more CTD's.
i bought this package to cover my local airport being Humberside when i typed the code in EGNJ its saying invalid. can you check this for me please bobby. and let me know. regards David
@@davidsmith418 What is saying invalid though? Where are you typing it in to get that return? Have you moved the packages from your community folder post install?
Hi David, I'm not sure you're understanding what I'm asking, where are you typing in EGNJ are you typing it into the sim world map? Into Navigraph? Simbrief? Also regarding the control panel I asked already - have you moved the FS Traffic packages outside of the community folder post-install?
Wish native real-time traffic injection was tested too, paired with aircraft models from aig/fsltl/fstraffic. Maybe an idea for a future video, to see if this is all because of the models, or injector itself matters too.
Yes you can but at larger airports you might find this is an issue. What you may not realise is that GSX is adding extra clutter and other ground vehicles at airports along with your own aircrafts ground services that cannot be configured though the MSFS options hence the potential issues.
@@tankieboy2 You can set exclusions for the jetway and ground services replacements in GSX world but you cannot reduce the amount of objects created. These options are just replacing what would already exist in the sim as far as I know.
@@BobbyFuzzy well as a user of GSX this is a bit of a red flag. I know you are not a seller of the product, but I would like to see what the interaction with GSX is like in game before I buy it. It is a major selling point for me to be able to watch AI Traffic go through ground services.
@@tankieboy2 This problem is not unique to FS Traffic and GSX can interact with our aircraft. The issue is that if GSX adds many more objects into the sim and MSFS has an upper limit to what it can display. If using an extremely detailed airport, combined with GSX and a traffic addon, the object count can reach the MSFS limit and AI will be invisible. We've included tools so you can reduce the number of ground services or turn them off completely if you wish. Jonh - Just Flight.
FSLTL …not to nitpick, but I dislike that your see many aircrafts that would never be at specific airports. Also not having to running a program outside of FS maybe have its benefits too
A lot of this is down to the scenery developers to put the correct airline codes on the right gates. Arrival and departure traffic is based on live data in FSLTL.
The Asobo traffic system tends to have very little aircraft parked on the ground. It's also using live data vs FS Traffics offline approach. Also the models are mainly just generic.
Have been waiting for this for so long. Installed as per video instructions including MSFS Traffic settings. Two major issues. 1. Spawned into EGLL - nothing, airport empty, Tried EGKK - same. 2. Cannot get back to menu after End Flight - just hangs - have to close FS programme via Task Manager. Will uninstall and go back to FSLTL until issues being reported get fixed. As a post edit. Reinstalled twice and finally got traffic to spawn at EGKK. However flights are not referred to by their airline name. Aircraft request IFR clearance and then nothing. Just a load of static aircraft with nothing moving - plus still have the issue of not being able to return to main menu without closing MSFS via task manager. What an anti climax this was.
@@BobbyFuzzy Hi thanks for the reply and Yes - but talk about confusing. For aircraft to move on the ground the manual FAQ states - Why are no aircraft pushing back from the gates? AI aircraft in MSFS require a pushback tug to push back from the gate. Pushback tugs will not spawn in MSFS unless the AIRPORT VEHICLE DENSITY slider is set somewhere between 1 and 100. This slider can be found in MSFS by navigating to Options > General Options > Traffic However the recommended settings for ground vehicles as per the manual and instruction video is to have this set at 1? If you do increase it to anything above zero - no traffic spawns at all
@@BobbyFuzzy Having been through the entire manual twice I finally got some traffic to spawn at EGKK - 3 Easy Jet aircraft and that was it even set at 100% default. But again no movements, landings etc., so have uninstalled and gone back to FSLTL as something very wrong with this which is such a shame as I really wanted it to work.
@@jimbojames6401 That is really quite strange. I haven't had any issues at Gatwick, if you've been through the manual there's not that much else I can suggest except speaking JF support.

Only the icon for starting the sim which when I right click on are no options to open the file in notepad. So I am a bit stuck. Been trawling the internet to find a solution but no joy. Any comments or tips gladly welcome !!
Hey Paul, are you in our discord? Be happy to guide you through it over there if you are. But in a nutshell the location of the exe.XML depends on whether you are using Steam or MS Store version of MSFS.
Thanks so much for this video. By reading the Just Flight announcements I thought FS Traffic will be the first ai traffic addon to work completely independent from the limitations caused by Asobo. But now i'm a little bit concerned, because you say that there are still some limitations left. After the latest sim update I had nearly no landing traffic with FSLTL or AIG. Will this work better with FS Traffic ? Which limitations will affect FS Traffic as well ?
It's a pleasure! FS Traffic isn't working independently - it still uses the AI system in the sim as other addons do. The quirks I refer to are things like frequent go-arounds due to poor spacing handling by the sim, slow rollouts, landing behaviour and sometimes odd taxi behaviour. These are still present with FS Traffic but Just Flight and other devs are pushing Asobo to do something about this. Perhaps now there is commercial option which integrates with the sim more directly, this might amp up the pressure a bit 🤞 You will see landing traffic with FS Traffic as you can see at 01:19
Odd that there seems to be no flare before touchdown. JustFlights GlobalTraffic for XP does that well and it makes a huge difference imo. Hopefully a feature that can be added

I believe that one is Asobo, not Just Flight, FSTL or AIG behave the same way, Asobo has a tremendous ToDo list regarding AI Traffic...but I guess their primary focus is adding PoI or things like that for now.

How do u not add either one
Offline flight plans that you can edit and create... yes please. Been waiting for this ability since launch. Creating custom flight plans offline was a game changer back in FSX/P3D for folks like me that edit airports.
Totally agree.
The models are very nice and varied. Think I’ll need live traffic and better AI before I’d purchase though.

@@BobbyFuzzyok, thx for your answer! will try that
In this video you show the FPS difference but in your FSLTL video you don't. What is the difference in performance hit in FSLTL so we're able to compare the two?
FSLTL is a little worse on frames but not much. I will be doing a comparision video soon.
*Update* FS Traffic _has now been released_ ! You can pick it up here - www.justflight.com/product/fs-traffic-microsoft-flight-simulator Feel free to drop any questions or thoughts you may have in the comments! Hello.
Thanks for the video. I'm curious, does it work with small airports as well? Or just bigger regional and International airports? I find some of the other Traffic addons only focus on the bigger airports. Thanks
@@sorchin22 The main focus at the moment is airliner ops but it does still work with smaller airports so long as they have commercial operation.
@@BobbyFuzzy Thank you
@bobbyFuzzy can you use the models from Just Flight but FSTL for the rest aka traffic management?
@@HenryMPHone I don't believe so, it would be down to FSLTL to add support for the new model set.
this is the addon ive been waiting for since the msfs release
Looks great Bobby! Quality video as always 😁🙏🏼
Thank you Bill!
@@BobbyFuzzy Hey Bobby thanks for the review, superb!! Can you follow ai traffic on FS traffic?
Cheers!
I had the same but removed gtn750 and no more ctd’s
From a performance point of view, it looks like it's on-par with FSTL. About a 10FPS hit on frames with it running, which is what I get with FSTL...
Yes, it's fairly similar.
Yup, for the price of it, I'll 100% be sticking with FSLTL for the long term I reckon... No need to spend so much money, for something you can get for free thats almost identical...
so if i have gsx i must turn off all ground services?
also how to make planes move, i just installed it and nothing moves
Check out the FAQ in the manual and you will find the answers to both those questions 🙂 But in short to answer your questions (1) maybe, depending on airport and (2) try waiting a little while
@@BobbyFuzzy thx, also last question, why when i changed time before departure value to 240 all planes disappear, and when i set it to 5 there are just any planes in airport, and when i set to 90, there are good amount of planes, like what "time before departure value" do and how to make it more planes spawn in airport and make them take off very often like every 5 minutes? also where can i find FAQ?
@@Windrose8Max FAQ in the manual - downloads.justflight.com/products/JFF003616/FSTraffic_MSFS_manual.pdf
Time before departure value is as it sounds - the amount of aircraft that will spawn based in minutes before it's departure time as per the schedule as set in the FS Traffic Control Centre. The number of departing aircraft you see is also based on this schedule. If you set the figure very high you may find aircraft are invisible due to the issues regarding the object count in the sim, similar to setting up with GSX and/or large payware airports.
@@BobbyFuzzythx
Fantastic video as always Bobby, looks like a solid offering
Thank you dude! I agree
Ive been waiting more than 2 years now for something like this really cant wait to install and try it
cant believe its already there ! very excited
Great video Bobby
Thank you brother! :fuzznice:
How do you get the traffic density option ? I don’t have it when I open the tab on the sim
Try resizing the FS Traffic panel that pops up.
I found this in the FS Traffic Manual:
Why does cruise traffic not communicate with ATC?
In order for cruise traffic to be present in FS Traffic, it has to be generated in such a way that makes ATC
interaction not possible for these aircraft. Unfortunately this workaround is caused by a limitation of the default
MSFS cruise traffic.
Well, I could hear cruise aircrafts communicate with ATC with AIG and FSTL, so why on earth isn"t this possible with FS Traffic? Flying silent over Europe? Not for me!
Hopefully this can be resolved!
Got it yesterday and it's awesome.
I have a i9 10900k rtx3080ti and it's just superb.
Also I use gsx and works brilliant without conflicts.
I just downloaded it and can't find the manual also when i select it in the sim only default aircraft appear.
Open the FST Control Centre and click the manual button
@BobbyFuzzy can't wait for your guide yo fine tune it
I think I'll stick with FSLTL. Perhaps later on a sale. Thanks Bobby!!
It's a pleasure! I'll be doing a giveaway soon also so keep an eye out for that!
the thing that worry's me is that it uses the asobo system that means there is going to be a lot off bugs
Hopefully Asobo will address some of these soon!
does the 'time before departure' effect the amount of airlines at the arrival airport when you get there? Every time I arrive (usually a 1-2 hour flight) I either see 3-6 planes or nothing at all... and I'm landing at JFK and Logan. I feel like I should be setting time before departure in the thousands to show more aircraft at arrival airport 1-2 hours after departing
Yes I believe it should do. I've noticed weirdness with it too, it's been reported to JF.
Having just installed FS Traffic, upon spawning into an airport, although it generates static aircraft on the ground I am not seeing any moving AI traffic. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
It usually takes 5 mins or so to get going
I tried adding some of the FSLTL aircraft (75/76s, E175s, etc,) and when they load in the textures are all messed up (vertical stabilizer paint on fuselage, engine textures, on tail, etc). I can’t for the life of me figure out why it’s happening. I did have good luck creating new routes for flights I felt are missing though and adding flight plan routes to some of them!
Are you using the correct name from the aircraft.cfg as shown in the video?
@@BobbyFuzzy Yeah I found out I added the AIG models instead of the FSLTL models. The FSLTL models work great, but not so much with the AIG models so far.
The aircraft modelling is great but is there supposed to be startup and shutdown sounds?
There are some to degree but they do need work
My traffic control center won’t open
Recommend contacting JF support. Not come across that myself.
Me,too.... consider how to refund xddd
Have you moved the package after installing it?
Mine won't open either even if I try to run it from the installation folder.
I suppose I’ll just wait for a fix?
bought it this morning...not seeing any ground aircraft at YSSY...Settings are set as per instructions.. Help?!
Have you tried restarting your sim once? There's a number of entries in the FAQ in the manual regarding this.
How are you managing to get FSLTL and Just flight FS traffic working together ? As I install FSLTL base for extra liveries , my Justflight Fs traffic won't turn up in the sim . Any help ?
Does it work without FSLTL installed?
How do you fix the camera on flyinf ai aircraft as shown in the earlier part of the video.. I'm able to use my cameras only for player aircraft
Check my FSLTL QA here - ruclips.net/video/jJSyJ9az8vk/видео.html - the procedure is the same for FS Traffic.
Just down loaded this and following your quick start guide all i get is default aircraft. Also i can't find the manual. Only one icon appears and when i click it a message appears its
already running.
Restart your PC, open the traffic control centre and try the manual again, should work fine. Otherwise there's a link in the description of this video to the manual. The FS Traffic injector won't inject any default aircraft, double check you've gone through the quick start guide steps properly is what I'd suggest first 😊
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for the reply
The control center icon appears on my desktop but i click on it iget a message. Already running
Nothing happens.
It's a pleasure and thank you for the comment! Are you running GSX or addon scenery for KDFW?

@@BobbyFuzzy I will have to look for it. I was focused on the models and paint jobs.
The models look insane, but I really want to know the performance between this and FSLTL, which has been out for a while and looks amazing with decent performance
I'll be doing a quick video on this today!
This traffic is not following the real life patterns happening at my airport. In phoenix it's showing departures to the west when in reality when checking flightradar24 the departures are to the east at the moment.
Sim limitation, unfortunately! The devs cannot instruct the AI on what runway to use.
My policy in flight sim addons is that if I'm not sure - I just skip it until I'm convinced - saves disappointment 🙂
It just uses in the in-sim ATC at the moment.
What resolution are you running on?
Fingers crossed! Thanks for the kind words!
thank you for a great overview video, I've been eagerly awaiting this product release.
Hey Steve, unfortunately this is one of the Asobo issues that I think we'd all love to get sorted!
@@BobbyFuzzy I thought I heard something to that effect. 50% is not bad. Not quite as much as ground activity. Have a good day.
@@MarcelBooij It only affects the AI Traffic, GSX is independent of FS Traffic.
Just got it...must say it is quite fps friendly...however i do not notice any heat blur or touchdown effects; am i missing something? I am using fstraffic's inbuilt injector!!!
Heat blur is definitely there. Which aircraft have you checked on? I think touchdown smoke is not fully implemented yet but being worked on.
@@BobbyFuzzy thanks bobby...noticed heat blur on the airbus but not the boeing...had to look very closely...touchdown effect is definitely not there...
So does it have "Live" traffic AI data? If flying real time, thinking of what FSLTL does via Flightradar24
It is using offline schedules/flight plans only - no live traffic like FSLTL or the stock Asobo system
has just flight stated why they chose not to support the live traffic system? its one of the coolest things in msfs
Why do I need to enter destination airport when I have entered that information using my flight plan in MSFS? Thoughts?
If you have entered it on the world map you don't need to do it in the module in sim
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for clarifying.
soooo can I add for example a model say a 767/757 with the livery of BAW and re-create some routes??
Yes if you have those models!
Hows it on the ATC side of things? I'm guessing there is no FSHud compatibility
Not at the moment. It is using the default ATC system.
Is the stacking up of AI planes at one location at the original airport on a return flight resolved with this? Currently all AI systems including MSFS’s own AI traffic have this issue!
I've not seen it much but it can still happen. But yeah they all have it because it's an Asobo issue! 👎
What if you forget to set the destination, will it still inject traffic but maybe slightly delayed?
You won't see anything at your destination but you will still get cruise traffic.
How comes if generates once, then it never re generates and I have to restart the sim to make it work again? After roughly 2 spawns the traffic doesn’t show up anymore. They need to fix this ASAP!. As it’s annoying keep having to restart the sim.
Try the update released today, this should have improved this behaviour.
@@BobbyFuzzy I heard they fixed it. I also heard it improves traffic behaviour to. They mentioned there is a lot more movement on the ground now to.
@@KillingSpree193 I've been testing it for a couple of days now, it's definitely improved!
@@BobbyFuzzy they just need to add 757 and cargo aircraft. Then it would be on par with FSLTL. 💪
Is it possible to paint your own liveries and add them in?
And then make a custom route which will be flown by that particular livery
I suppose theoretically it is. You would need to be familiar with the mod creation process though as it wouldn't be as simple as adding in a texture, I imagine. That being, said there is no paintkit for FS Traffic as far as I know.
@@BobbyFuzzy aha. i see, but its the texture painting which is hard, right? Is it still possible to for example create a custom route, with a custom airline code assigned to it, and then make an aircraft fly that route?
@@norwayspotter26 Unless you're familiar with it it can be a bit tricky yes! To answer your second question, that is possible!
Well, but the traffic is managed by msfs atc or by custom atc? For example if use pro atc, it will manage traffic generated by fs traffic ?
This doesn't have support for 3rd party ATC programs at the moment as far as I'm aware.
But how do you deal with traffic in flight, are they ignoring you while taxing or cruising, AI knows how to deal with conflict ?
On approach/departure as long as you are using the MSFS ATC they should keep some separation to you. That being said the MSFS AI system isn't perfect and there may be some times when this doesn't happen! Unfortunately a limitation of the sim.
Since I have to keep FSLTL installed to see the vast majority of the airplanes at my main airport (757s & 767s) I might as well just stick with FSLTL and save the disk space and money.
That sounds like a sound decision to me.
We are going to be including the 757 and 767's in a future free update.
In Amsterdam with a couple of unparalleled runways, I’ve almost never seen a traffic taking off from a make sense runway.
so If used the Just Flight's FS Traffic addon, no more car traffic in the road and no more ship and boat?? thanks a lot
Not quite - I have them all on and have no issues.
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks a lot^^
Haha the only way this will be worth money and more necessary than FSLTL is if corrects and improves the default AI Traffic behavior with no go arounds and stuff
I suppose 'more necessary' is a subjective thing - hopefully the video helped you get more of an idea of what this is all about, anyway! 🙂
I will purchase it if it works alongside FSLTL. Nice video thanks.
yes would be nice for no go arounds unless needed unlike ftsl when nothing on rwy and also getting correct rwy in use
That’s stuff Asobo has to fix. A lot of it is hardcoded
Im still sad we don’t get proper takeoff and landing animations….looks so dumb at 17:48. I know it’s an Asobo limitation but I still had hope FS Traffic would change that.
i really like the cinematic colours of your MSFS. is it a reshade presets or you do colour grading in post? cheers
I'm using Nvidia filter. Settings are on my discord!
@@BobbyFuzzy thanks a lot mate!
HI one more thing. Will fs trafic work together with pilot to atc. Being that the trafic is working in sync with the two programs.
I'm not sure actually, not used that in quite some time.

Pleasure! My graphics settings are in the video, I am also doing some small tweaks to brightness and colour using nvidia filters.
Does FS Traffic liveries park at correct terminals at airports? If so, how? Thanks!
Correct parking spots etc are down to the scenery developer to do correctly!

Does it include military planes
Not currently
am trying to add some off line ga trafic that i have in the community folder. Is there a way i can do this thanks
Yeah sure, add them in the Traffic Control Centre aircraft manager and then you can add some flight plans for them in the flight plan manager. The finer details are in the manual!
You'll need the aircraft.cfg for the planes in question to hand to use the name in the TCC.
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for that . Maybe i wait for a step by step you tube. Cheers
Any problems with fstraffic and dx12?
Shouldn't be!
how do i ad GA planes to the traffic?
I believe that is covered in the manual
Alright I'm definitely getting this
Can I sit on the side and "plane watch" for as long as I'd like (with my aircraft on, and my simulator in drone mode)? Or will it time out, and ideally it's better if I'm just flying the plane?
There's no timing out as far as I'm aware. Eg. Some of the timelapses you see in the video were originally 45 mins long!
@@BobbyFuzzy Thank you for the timely reply. That means I can go into flightsim, just to "plane watch".
Great Video and Thank You. Can I assume that you did not have to remove the FSTL(AIG) application? I was wondering if it there would be duplicate ai craft or routes.
You don't have to remove it but I would not run the FSLTL injector whilst FST is running.
@@BobbyFuzzy Many Thanks for this Clarification... In your Opinion, FS Traffic appears to be much better? What Says Thou?? Thank you.
I think it's a matter of personal preference - FSLTL = more traffic, liveries, models, online only. FS Traffic = less traffic, offline flight plans + customisation
Great video fairly impressed with fs traffic. Glad though you mentioned that aboyt gsx pro , solved my problem
First issue is unfortunately down to scenery devs in MSFS and second GA will be added down the line 😊
I've not used AIG offline in quite some time.
i got it and i had lots off CTD and not working correctly
Have you tried tweaking your graphics settings? Running with nothing but FS traffic in your community folder? Under what condition does the CTDs occur?
I bought this and no matter what I get no traffic injecting. I even removed Flight Control replay....:(
Hate to say it but have you read the manual and the FAQ in the back?

Wish native real-time traffic injection was tested too, paired with aircraft models from aig/fsltl/fstraffic. Maybe an idea for a future video, to see if this is all because of the models, or injector itself matters too.
I think just flight already posted a comparison with the real time traffic on their Facebook page 😊
Excellent review thankyou.
Just my initial thoughts! I don't think enough consideration went into it for it to be a review so please don't take it as that 😊
mine doesnt populate at some airports
Cross check there are plans in the TCC and try regenerate.
I don't get the GSX thing. Can I not just use GSX myself and let AI Traffic use it's own Ground Services?
Yes you can but at larger airports you might find this is an issue. What you may not realise is that GSX is adding extra clutter and other ground vehicles at airports along with your own aircrafts ground services that cannot be configured though the MSFS options hence the potential issues.
@@BobbyFuzzy I belive you can remove extra clutter through the GSX installer.

How often will the flight schedules be updated in the future?
A question for JF I think!
does this do live traffic as in real world live traffic or is it offline and vatsim only
Offline and Vatsim only! FSLTL did just add support for the FS Traffic models however.
Does this have live traffic like fsltl or is it only schedule based like AIG?
It's just schedule based like AIG.
@@BobbyFuzzy ok , thank you
Have the 757 and 767 now been added?
The 752, 753 and 763 have yes
Whats the difference between the asobo AI traffic and this?
Have you read the FAQ in the manual? It covers all the potential issues you're describing. 🙂
@@BobbyFuzzy Hi thanks for the reply and Yes - but talk about confusing. For aircraft to move on the ground the manual FAQ states - Why are no aircraft pushing back from the gates?
AI aircraft in MSFS require a pushback tug to push back from the gate. Pushback tugs will not spawn in MSFS
unless the AIRPORT VEHICLE DENSITY slider is set somewhere between 1 and 100. This slider can be found in
MSFS by navigating to Options > General Options > Traffic
However the recommended settings for ground vehicles as per the manual and instruction video is to have this set at 1?
If you do increase it to anything above zero - no traffic spawns at all
@@jimbojames6401 Are they not spawning or just invisible?
@@BobbyFuzzy Having been through the entire manual twice I finally got some traffic to spawn at EGKK - 3 Easy Jet aircraft and that was it even set at 100% default. But again no movements, landings etc., so have uninstalled and gone back to FSLTL as something very wrong with this which is such a shame as I really wanted it to work.
@@jimbojames6401 That is really quite strange. I haven't had any issues at Gatwick, if you've been through the manual there's not that much else I can suggest except speaking JF support.
Is it Safe to Download FS Traffic while you have Installed FSTL?? In your Opinion, FS Traffic appears to be much better? What Says Thou?? Thank you.
Yeah it's safe! Both can coexist but I would only run 1 of the injectors at once!
Does this include G A Trafic
Nope. That will be added post-release though.
@@justflight Once that's implemented I think that's an easy purchase
Looking forward to seeing this added!
Any computer boffins on here ? I have downloaded msfs on steam so have been trying to find the exe.xml file for msfs to see if nool.exe is running. But I cannot see the msfs.exe file in the folder.
@Truth Filter For RUclips Brilliant. Found it. Thankyou.
@@BobbyFuzzy Will do Bobby.
Released now. 27 quid
Perhaps now there is commercial option which integrates with the sim more directly, this might amp up the pressure a bit 🤞 You will see landing traffic with FS Traffic as you can see at 01:19
@@BobbyFuzzy Thanks for the info 😊
Dies it have GA Models / Traffic?
Not currently.
will it work with lfvr static aircraft?
Yes but you may find some overlap, there's not really any need to use both however.
isFS Traffic going to be live Traffic like fsltl ?
No it uses offline flight plans
And what about the interaction of fs traffic with FS HUD? Greetings and good video as always!
Thank you Kevin! No FSHud integration as yet.
