Just adding that the LDAC and Multipoint statement isn't technically accurate. It really comes down to the hardware and firmware. Technics has enabled multi-point and LDAC usage on both their EAH-AZ60s buds and their A800 headphones, and it works flawlessly with my Android phone and my MacBook. Of course, the Mac uses AAC, but my phone maintains an LDAC connection.

I mentioned a couple weeks ago reviewing the Anker liberty 4's - I wound up trying them myself but returning them after only a few days. I discovered something about my commute that renders them unusable - the fluctuating pulse sounds of public transit like light rail trains and the engine of the ferry I take made their ANC pulsate like hand grenades and basically try to murder me. Also their wind noise handling was hot garbage. They sounded decent and the feature set was otherwise robust (and the squeeze controls worked great) but yet again, something about my commute just makes everything struggle. I feel like I need 3 pairs of headphones for my commute, 1 for wind, 1 for public transit, 1 for the library.
I'm wondering if maybe I will have to just suck it up and get the Bose with their silly always on/transparent system or try the link buds S.
Either way Amazon is having a hardcore sale on the 1more evo's for $100, so I figure I'll try them to see if they just do a tiny bit more top end ANC than the minis, because I can always return them and I generally love 1more's tuning otherwise.

    • @colinmartin9797
      @colinmartin9797 2 года назад +1

@@imwhatsnew ah that makes sense, I was thinking it as reduction not raw sound level. That tool you made is really impressive. I wish I knew how they handled real wind noise, because as it stands they all seem to fall apart above jogging speeds other than 1more who has a specific algorithm for it, dulling traffic/etc a little bit while also stamping 50kph wind out completely. It's like a dedicated cyclist/standing on a windy pier mode. That's the main worry I have about Bose, since you can't even turn the ANC off if you're in windy weather.

I own both the Buds2 Pro and Link Buds S. And the Link Buds S perform way better than Buds2 Pro in terms of ANC.
I live in Hong Kong, one of the noisiest cities in the world. The Buds2 Pro don't block out as much noises as the Link Buds S even with the largest ear tips, especially at higher frequencies, which creates an illusion that sounds are louder after turning ANC on.
In short, I don't think the Buds2 Pro live up to the price. I use a Samsung phone and I was really disappointed with the Buds2 Pro. The only advantages are wireless charging and more customizable touch controls. But I don't feel like I would miss anything if I didn't buy the Buds2 Pro. The Link Buds S are the better buy

Has anyone noticed metallic ping/bell sound on the linkbuds s? It's not that noticeable when listening to music but when listening to podcasts or speach its very annoying. Considering returning mine that i bought a week ago.

Linkbuds S are...garbage, in my opinion.
They sound like crap, no matter the EQ settings.

Sony app is terrible, it looks like my IDE in terms of the settings. Compare it with Nothing X.
All these features like auto detect of environment, achievements, 360 audio, speak to chat - just a piece of useless shit.
    - Sony multipoint is working with iOS and Android device
    - Sound quality is very good
    - ANC is very good
    - mic is very good
    The conclusion
Create a simple alternative app with simple UI without all that redundant "Features"
