Yup, and it's the best feature they've ever implemented. I've adjusted the volume through my winter jacked hood with gloves on by just tapping my ear through everything. I'll keep buying galaxy buds until any other manufacturer adds it because it's by far the best and most useful feature I've ever seen.
Apparently me and home boy see/hear things COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY. I had a pair of AirPod Pro 2’s because I’m in firmly entrenched in the Apple Ecosystem (I’ve been buying IPods and other Apple products/devices for OVER 20 years) and I have to admit they’re GREAT for Apple users and they’re still the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever owned. Having said that I finally got rid of them in favor of the Sony WF-1000XM5’s for two main reasons: One being the ANC noticeably BETTER compared to APP 2’s and secondly and more importantly…..SOUND QUALITY, the Sony’s sound SO MUCH BETTER, RICHER, DEEPER than the AirPod Pro’s and I’m honestly SHOCKED that ANYONE WOULD SAY THE AIRPOD PRO 2’s SOUND BETTER….thats borderline INSANE/ABSURD. However I also have to remember that people are entitled to their own opinion regardless of how crazy I find them to be. At the end of the day, I suppose sound quality is a subjective preference but to me it seems so obvious when something sounds good and something DOESN’T sound as good.
The Samsung Buds smashed the Air Pods in my experience, im now itching to upgrade to the Sony's... im shocked to hear this review saying the Air Pods sound the best of all. It sounds like a blatant lie to be honest.
@@bmwmd110 I will say a couple days after I wrote this comment, I actually ended up switching because the for some reason the Sony earbuds hurt my ears really badly, the XM5’s were quite uncomfortable after I initially being very comfortable for the first day or so, then all of a sudden my right ear started hurting a lot. So I ended up returning them and getting the WH-1000XM4’s (the over ear version of the previous model) at Best Buy on sale for $230. Then literally the very next morning I saw, thanks to GYMCADDY’s RUclips channel that the XM5’s were on sale for $250 and after finding them at Target I immediately bought them and returned the XM4’s. I will say BOTH headphones sound PHENOMENAL and you can’t go wrong with either one. As I said in my original comment, I would’ve preferred to keep the earbuds because they’re far more discreet and I can still wear my beanie while using them, but the AirPod Pro 2’s just lacked enough bass for me (they really don’t have much at all as far as I’m concerned although I will say they’re way better then anything made by soundcore which I honestly think are GARBAGE and I don’t understand why so many RUclips reviewers try and pretend they sound good, unless Soundcore is paying them or something) and their just isn’t enough noise cancellation, which for the price of them at $250 I think they should be better at both aspects. Having said that, as soon as the AirPod Pro 3’s get released sometime in 2026/7 haha I will be the first in line to try them because I really do LOVE how comfortable they are and their transparency mode simply cannot be touched. I can’t tell you how many times I honestly forgot I was even wearing them, that’s how lightweight and comfortable they are, once they figure out that they need more bass and better ANC then it will be game over for all other earbuds. Apple also needs to give people the ability to adjust their own EQ settings.
I haven't tried either of them but I'm inclined to believe you because Apple isn't known for making high sound quality earbuds and headphones. They provide great user experience and build quality but their sound is just good enough for the ecosystem prisoners. Sony on the other hand has professional experience in making high-end earphones and headphones.
I have the air pods pro 2 and Samsung Buds 2 pro and also the pixel bud pro. The Samsung sound profile is much better than the airpod pro. This is the very very few reviews online that choose apple airpod pro 2 to be superior. I see this is totally insane to believe that. Airpod pro 2 is at best good. Not superior
the thing to know is, which phone he uses, if its a Samsung S20, 21, 22, 23, the galaxy buds2 pro will kick ass due to the codecs, but if he is testing all with an iphone, then the air buds will get the best sound due to the codecs also. so for this to be fair, he needs to use both iphone and samsung phones to allow proprietary codecs to do thier magic with their respective environments. Samsung buds will sound horrible on iphones since they will have to use shitty codecs to pair with Iphone, instead of their premium codecs for Samsung phones.
i understand airpods are popular yes but they're not the best earbuds they aren't even top 7 in best earbuds why do you keep bringing airpods up its alot of other earbuds that are better then airpods that people wanna see stop it
Part of it could be because when uploading a video RUclips compresses the sound, but honestly in every review the AirPods Pro mic sounds awful to me. In general I think they are overhyped, they also don't sound bad but they not worth the price they are sold at.
I actually have both pairs. In my experience, the Sony Buds are the best of the best in regards to noise cancelling, sound quality, and maximum volume. However, the Airpods offer better transparency mode, which makes them superior for every day usage, such as walks or settings where you need to hear your surroundings. Hope this helps
I second their take. I'm trying to decide between the galaxy buds 2 pro or the xm5's because my momentum 3's completely crapped out on me. They sound wonderful... when they work. They're marked as frequently returned on Amazon, and that goes for the momentum 4's as well. There's just something about their construction that makes them break easily and quickly. For their price, their longevity is near criminal.
@@Wyrdwulf19 i have had mine for 10 months now. I can't relate. Maybe later but for now my momentum tw 3 is fine... As for Xm5 vs galaxy bud 2 pro the choice should be obvious. One thing I would like more in your reviews is more indepth evaluation of the pass through. Lol, but both my soundcore liberty 3 pros and momentum 3 tws cancel way more noise than a any premium pair of headphones. The momentum 4 doesn't stand a chance vs a M3 tws.
What kind of environment and what kind of sounds have you tested the ANC in? From what I could tell, the premium buds do a better overall job as compared to budget buds. Less random sounds come in, ANC seems to be stronger across a broad range. The fit and the type of tips like silicone vs. foam also affect the quality of the anc although to a lesser degree.
