I got both the Buds Pro and Buds 2 Pro. Both of them seem to have an issue of making my ears itch and bleed. They fit well and sound decently, but the itching and skin flaking is a problem. I thought it was due to too tight a fit but someone else mentioned that they use some sort of chemical on the contacts that causes severe skin irritation. The Buds Pro are far worse than the Buds 2 Pro in making my ears bleed but that could be I’ve only had the Buds 2 for less than a week. I continue to use AirPods of various kinds on Apple products. I looked up the issue, searching for galaxy buds pro ear infection, and found an article on Android Central by an editor who had gotten an ear infection from wearing the Buds Pro. The symptoms he describes are exactly the same as mine. So beware, the Buds Pro and Buds 2 Pro can potentially cause severe ear infection or irritation while the Buds+ and Buds Live do not. I’ve been using the Live myself and have had no such issues.
Definitely the AirPods Pro. There’s no one better than Apple when you consider all factors together, I.e. sound quality, iOS integration, the fit, comfort and lots more.
I wish I could use buds , but I cannot stand having them in my ears , they drive me crazy , not to mention they also won’t stay in for any length of time, maybe I have weird mr Spock ears , but give me headphones any day .
Have both. AirPods Pro transparency mode and phone calls sound more natural in my opinion. The speaking detection feature on buds pro 2 works great and the bass is richer. Can’t really go wrong with either.

I upgraded from the Buds Pro 1 to the Buds Pro 2 and the Buds 2 Pros just sound better. It's hard to explain but if you switch back and forth between both you can tell the Buds 2 Pro sound better. They are also louder

They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
using these buds2 pro from last 2 weeks, i am totally impressed in all categories. I used galaxy buds+, buds live, buds2 but the experience with these new buds2 pro is amazing. most of the people will enjoy it.

In europe buds2 pro costs 199 euro and airpods pro 2 costs 299 euro. Eventhough I have iphone 13, I don't like to enter into apple ecosystem, because of its not justifying prices. I noticed in iphones the heat management is not done properly.
I have both and I have to say by far the buds pro 2 are way better in sound and comfort. Im able to lay on my pillow side ways and listen to my music where I couldn't comfortably with the air pod pros. I also find the anc is better on buds. This is a good review and I watch alot of his but this guy does lean more apple them samsung.

im sorry but you are just wrong. airpods pro are way more comfortable. I agree sound is better on the samsung buds but the ANC on the airpods pro however are better than the samsung buds.
Something no one talks about but that really matters to me is how the noise cancellation SOUNDS. With a lot of headphones, when you turn on the ANC everything gets quiet but also really tinny and canned. The airpods are incredible for that, cuz when you turn ANC on it just feels like the volume got turned down on the world. But everything still sounds clean and normal.
Exactly. The sound stage is also way better than other brands. And I much prefer the balanced neutral sound that can easily be adjusted on spotify’s eq if you want compared to a bassy one. The transparency is also unbeatable
There's probably a reason why these "fair" reviewers are not talking about the ANC. Because it's crap. I mean come on. Apple has that technology perfected.
This comment section is full of people trying to justify their purchase of the Buds 2 Pro's lol. The reality is, sound quality goes to the Buds. Noise canceling and transparency goes to the Airpods.
Just got the Buds Pro 2 and it seems that my previous complain for v1 is fixed, they have a much better ergonomy and they stay much better in the ear. And they are smaller, it feels.

Not really tbh, if you care abt sound quality, just go with the Buds, brand and ANC, go with the Ap Pro, i use the Buds with iphone and ipad or with galaxy from time to time or Ap Pro with Galaxy phones or android tablet, if you truly care about sound quality, just get a flagship phone on android side that support Dolby or tuned by brands like AKG, Harman, JBL isnt that good compare to those have Dolby or AKG touch

The new airpods mainly just improved from the aspects which were already strong on the regular Airpods Pro, such as ANC, Call Quality & the Transparency. My sister has the new Airpods Pro 2 (USB-C) so I can easily say the Sound Quality is *STILL* better on the Buds2 Pro way more bass and better clarity overall, sure it's an improvement from the regular Airpods Pro but the Galaxy Buds still beat it
The sound is very good also for Galaxy Buds Pro (v1), there are some specialized tests that show just that. But if there is something I can complain about them is the way they fit, for instance it is hard to listen while laying down on a pillow. It seems they fixed this, cannot wait to upgrade. PS: I don't use ANC, don't really fit it useful when having small kids you need to pay attention to.
I believe its a gimmick feature. I don't use it at all either. I hope samsung focuses more on important things and maybe abandons anc and ambient. I think voice detect is better and more useful but not anc and ambient.
@@3arthandsky you may not find it useful but it's definitely not a gimmick. I'm a truck driver and ANC is the only way I can listen to audio while I work without turning volume up all the way. Same goes for traveling by plane or train.
There is a hidden option (Blutooth Codec) in the developer section of Samsung device. If you change that to "Samsung Scalable Codec" this will improve the sound quality. Changing Codecs are not even possible with apple. You can also choose "Dynamic" equlizer in Galaxy Buds Pro configuration page for the ultimate sound experience. Please do another review doing this setup
The song "Never Back Down" just makes me Fall in Love to this, and it just feel better than my Dad's fave Rock Song from Band that were popular back in 90s
I'm using Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 right now and I love the transparency mode. It has excellent spatial sound so I can go walking with them in a heavy traffic area.
if you care about sound Airpods pro it is lol. it has spatial audio dolby atmos and the second gen pros coming out next month have lossless audio as well.

Air pods top out at AAC with a single driver. As anyone that knows anything about audio, knows that spacial audio is a marketing gimmick. Makes music sound like trash. For iphone Touch controls - 10/10 - Much better than airpods pro. can control everything on the buds itself. I have first used them on a samsung phone, then shifted to iphone - so settings on the buds retained. Both Buds : single tap on top side of bud pause and play Double click next Triple click previous Right Bud : Long press toggle between noise isolation and normal double tap on back / bottom edge - Volume increase Left Bud : Long press toggle between ambient sound mode and normal double tap on back / bottom edge - Volume decrease
I think if you're a Hip Hop and RNB fan like myself that like that punchy clean bass and vocals then BudsPro 2 kill the AirPods in every way. Also I have a Skullcandy Crusher Evo and I'm all about Bass heavy and songs to sound like I'm in a club or in the car. Buds 2 Pro kill it all the time
For Samsung buds don’t forget to go into the app and turn on Dynamic mode for the music to sound good. It changes the EQ and idk why it’s not on by default.
@@roaldperez Yeah sadly I THINK you can’t use the app on iPhone. Which was part of why I didn’t get em but I think it depends on the buds model you have. I think the Buds+ could use the app. I don’t quite remember. Doesn’t this mean no noise cancelling on iPhone?
The ambient mode while receiving calls in Samsung buds 2 pro sounds totally natural compared to the ambient mode in general, I think Samsung can fix that with an update.
For products like these, it is very hard to trust any youtuber. They were the only ones who can hear the sounds. So it is more about personal preference. Airpods for Ios, samsung for android. And by the way, airpods was released 3 years ago. Compare your buds to something a bit newer like the Nothing one.
The only youtuber who's opinion I trust is flossy carter's. He likes more rap and hip hop and I am more rock and metal, but he does a great describing what he hears and he has a great ear for notes and tones and whatever else you get when listening to music.
When I first heard about the galaxy buds 2 pro I was actually comparing them to the og Samsung galaxy buds. Just buds, no pro and I've realized how behind I am😭 I was so excited to even hear the pros had noise cancelation. Like that was the standard but apparently every other ear buds EXCEPT for the og ones had noise cancelation... 🥲 anyways, I think I'll probably ONLY miss the smaller size of the og's case but if a larger case means larger battery life than I'm ALL for it. I thought my og buds had pretty decent battery life so I'm excited to see how the 2 pros compare! I also am really interested in how the 2 pro's ambient sound sounds like. The og buds had very... iffy ambient noise. There was an insane amount of white noise and overall it wasn't and experience I enjoyed OR used a lot even if i wanted to. Actually, I'm not even sure I'm getting the 2 pros but these RUclips videos sure are convincing😆

Just swapped from Apple to Samsung...again. So much happier with the Buds2 Pro, the Airpod Pro's don't even come close, in my opinion. Transparency mode sounds like a natural passthrough on the Buds2 Pro vs like I'm listening through a mic with a robotic filter on the Airpod Pros and thankfully, I don't have to hear an amplified version of a fan on the other side of the room like I did with the Airpod Pros either! ANC on the Buds2 Pro cuts the lower frequencies out better and whatever I'm listening to takes care of whats left of any higher frequencies. Also loving not feeling like I'm in a pressure chamber and having my ears hurt after a couple hours from the fit. Last of all, the sound is very good on these Buds2 Pros, quite enjoyable.

If you’re getting sound leak that means you’re not using the proper ear-tip. It’s a noise canceling set of earbuds which means it needs a proper seal which prevents sound leak. Otherwise I’d say it’s a good review.
Thanks for mentioning the sound leakage, no idea it was that bad. I'll pass on these, I can't have people listening to my music or podcasts while I'm out or at work.
That's so exaggerated in this video. You think anyone closer to you can make out what you're playing? It's not like you using an iPhone will get these anyway neither will most Galaxy users get airpods. So it all depends on which ecosystem of devices you have.

I got the galaxy buds2 pro for my husband. I like the sound quality better than my AirPods Pro. BUT, I like the noise cancellation on my AirPods more and I like the stem just because it’s easier to take in and out. The galaxy buds also don’t fit my ears well so I have a hard time putting them in. I am jealous of the sound quality though. Let’s hope the new pros retake the crown because I’m very much locked into the ecosystem at this point.
It does work but some features wont work such as voice assistance. 24 bit audio will also not work as it is exclusive to samsung devices. Imo, if you use an apple device you should stick to airpods.
As podcast editor, I enjoyed listening music with my monitor headphone. This has no special feature because it is design to hear the audio as it is. Which is best for listening to music too. So when it comes to earbuds I'm not that choosey.
I got airpods pro 2s before i switched to the z fold 5. Airpods pro 2' sound great but obviously work better on an iphone than a android. The new samsung bud 3 pros look great, prob will pull the trigger on them
Sounds quality is not close between the two. Samsung wins in every way but the airpods pro are in the upper third of TWS. It's just samsung is at the top. This really comes down to what phone you have as thry both dont play well with eachothers ecosystem. Also he wears the Samsung incorrectly throughout the video causing some pressure with fit and increased sound leakage.
Honestly I am againist to all apple products, they turned to lower quality, lower customer services, higher prices, but I have to admit if we compare about earphones airpods have better designs than any other brands, therefore there are countless imitations of their designs. I use Sony earphones for years, I like it, it has impressive waterprof even if I can take shower with them and keep listen music, I directly washed them countless times, zero problem, they have 7-9 hours batter life, with box it may reach double, also ANC is not bad, not best surely, but not bad as well. In the other hand I didn’t want to buy samsung buds2 pro when I bought to S23 ultra phone, because their design is terrible with my opinion, it looks like a couple cotton in the ear, I don’t understand why anyone wants to use such ugly thing. Also as I heard putting out is issue because fingers keep touching to buttons accidently. As result, although I still won’t buy to apple products, I have to admit AirPods pro2 has best design quality, best sound quality and best ANC quality in the world, of course video about Airpods pro, not about Airpods pro2, still I wanted to share my opinion with honest perpective from an anti apple user lol. I won’t buy both, I will wait a good designed brand that has very good ANC and sound quality as well, otherwise, I am okay with my Sony.
Im sorry but the Galaxy Buds2 pro are terrible, I could hear my friend's song lyrics from across the room, when I used my airpods Pro 2 they could turn the volume all the way up and I could hear nothing from anyone's ears, I have the Galaxy S22 Ultra but I still prefer the Airpod pro 2 over anything so far, sound leakage is a deal-breaker for me, the anc and transparency modes were also worse on the Galaxy buds, along with the controls, but this is just my opinion 😂

Personally, both of these microphones don't seem to be better than Jabra elite 7 pros. I still choose Jabra for mic quality and AirPods for sound quality (since I don't have galaxy buds). But yeah, great video and review! Waiting for the next-gen of AirPods pro

1000% agree. The only reason to pay almost double the price of ‘standard’ buds is that ANC is expensive tech to include in such a small form factor.

I simply do not want that stem coming down my ear anymore, especially when laying down. For me the buds are easily the better design.

Just got the Buds Pro 2 and it seems that my previous complain for v1 is fixed, they have a much better ergonomy and they stay much better in the ear. And they are smaller, it feels.

Not really tbh, if you care abt sound quality, just go with the Buds, brand and ANC, go with the Ap Pro, i use the Buds with iphone and ipad or with galaxy from time to time or Ap Pro with Galaxy phones or android tablet, if you truly care about sound quality, just get a flagship phone on android side that support Dolby or tuned by brands like AKG, Harman, JBL isnt that good compare to those have Dolby or AKG touch

The new airpods mainly just improved from the aspects which were already strong on the regular Airpods Pro, such as ANC, Call Quality & the Transparency. My sister has the new Airpods Pro 2 (USB-C) so I can easily say the Sound Quality is *STILL* better on the Buds2 Pro way more bass and better clarity overall, sure it's an improvement from the regular Airpods Pro but the Galaxy Buds still beat it
The sound is very good also for Galaxy Buds Pro (v1), there are some specialized tests that show just that. But if there is something I can complain about them is the way they fit, for instance it is hard to listen while laying down on a pillow. It seems they fixed this, cannot wait to upgrade. PS: I don't use ANC, don't really fit it useful when having small kids you need to pay attention to.
I believe its a gimmick feature. I don't use it at all either. I hope samsung focuses more on important things and maybe abandons anc and ambient. I think voice detect is better and more useful but not anc and ambient.

@@3arthandsky you may not find it useful but it's definitely not a gimmick. I'm a truck driver and ANC is the only way I can listen to audio while I work without turning volume up all the way. Same goes for traveling by plane or train.
But the Galaxy Buds Pro needs a good fit to get the right sounding, this is where the Buds 2 Pro excels at.
There is a hidden option (Blutooth Codec) in the developer section of Samsung device. If you change that to "Samsung Scalable Codec" this will improve the sound quality. Changing Codecs are not even possible with apple.
You can also choose "Dynamic" equlizer in Galaxy Buds Pro configuration page for the ultimate sound experience.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2 right now and I love the transparency mode. It has excellent spatial sound so I can go walking with them in a heavy traffic area.

For iphone Touch controls - 10/10 - Much better than airpods pro. can control everything on the buds itself. I have first used them on a samsung phone, then shifted to iphone - so settings on the buds retained.

I think if you're a Hip Hop and RNB fan like myself that like that punchy clean bass and vocals then BudsPro 2 kill the AirPods in every way. Also I have a Skullcandy Crusher Evo and I'm all about Bass heavy and songs to sound like I'm in a club or in the car. Buds 2 Pro kill it all the time

For Samsung buds don’t forget to go into the app and turn on Dynamic mode for the music to sound good. It changes the EQ and idk why it’s not on by default.

The ambient mode while receiving calls in Samsung buds 2 pro sounds totally natural compared to the ambient mode in general, I think Samsung can fix that with an update.
For products like these, it is very hard to trust any youtuber. They were the only ones who can hear the sounds. So it is more about personal preference. Airpods for Ios, samsung for android. And by the way, airpods was released 3 years ago. Compare your buds to something a bit newer like the Nothing one.
The only youtuber who's opinion I trust is flossy carter's. He likes more rap and hip hop and I am more rock and metal, but he does a great describing what he hears and he has a great ear for notes and tones and whatever else you get when listening to music.
When I first heard about the galaxy buds 2 pro I was actually comparing them to the og Samsung galaxy buds. Just buds, no pro and I've realized how behind I am😭 I was so excited to even hear the pros had noise cancelation. Like that was the standard but apparently every other ear buds EXCEPT for the og ones had noise cancelation... 🥲 anyways, I think I'll probably ONLY miss the smaller size of the og's case but if a larger case means larger battery life than I'm ALL for it. I thought my og buds had pretty decent battery life so I'm excited to see how the 2 pros compare! I also am really interested in how the 2 pro's ambient sound sounds like. The og buds had very... iffy ambient noise. There was an insane amount of white noise and overall it wasn't and experience I enjoyed OR used a lot even if i wanted to. Actually, I'm not even sure I'm getting the 2 pros but these RUclips videos sure are convincing😆

Just swapped from Apple to Samsung...again. So much happier with the Buds2 Pro, the Airpod Pro's don't even come close, in my opinion. Transparency mode sounds like a natural passthrough on the Buds2 Pro vs like I'm listening through a mic with a robotic filter on the Airpod Pros and thankfully, I don't have to hear an amplified version of a fan on the other side of the room like I did with the Airpod Pros either! ANC on the Buds2 Pro cuts the lower frequencies out better and whatever I'm listening to takes care of whats left of any higher frequencies. Also loving not feeling like I'm in a pressure chamber and having my ears hurt after a couple hours from the fit. Last of all, the sound is very good on these Buds2 Pros, quite enjoyable.
Even the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro blows the Airpods Pro completely away in Sound!

If you’re getting sound leak that means you’re not using the proper ear-tip. It’s a noise canceling set of earbuds which means it needs a proper seal which prevents sound leak. Otherwise I’d say it’s a good review.

I got the galaxy buds2 pro for my husband. I like the sound quality better than my AirPods Pro. BUT, I like the noise cancellation on my AirPods more and I like the stem just because it’s easier to take in and out. The galaxy buds also don’t fit my ears well so I have a hard time putting them in. I am jealous of the sound quality though. Let’s hope the new pros retake the crown because I’m very much locked into the ecosystem at this point.

They're Bluetooth. It won't be as convenient on an iPhone but no different than any other Bluetooth connection
It does work but some features wont work such as voice assistance. 24 bit audio will also not work as it is exclusive to samsung devices.

Sounds quality is not close between the two. Samsung wins in every way but the airpods pro are in the upper third of TWS. It's just samsung is at the top. This really comes down to what phone you have as thry both dont play well with eachothers ecosystem. Also he wears the Samsung incorrectly throughout the video causing some pressure with fit and increased sound leakage.
Honestly I am againist to all apple products, they turned to lower quality, lower customer services, higher prices, but I have to admit if we compare about earphones airpods have better designs than any other brands, therefore there are countless imitations of their designs.
I use Sony earphones for years, I like it, it has impressive waterprof even if I can take shower with them and keep listen music, I directly washed them countless times, zero problem, they have 7-9 hours batter life, with box it may reach double, also ANC is not bad, not best surely, but not bad as well. In the other hand I didn’t want to buy samsung buds2 pro when I bought to S23 ultra phone, because their design is terrible with my opinion, it looks like a couple cotton in the ear, I don’t understand why anyone wants to use such ugly thing. Also as I heard putting out is issue because fingers keep touching to buttons accidently.
As result, although I still won’t buy to apple products, I have to admit AirPods pro2 has best design quality, best sound quality and best ANC quality in the world, of course video about Airpods pro, not about Airpods pro2, still I wanted to share my opinion with honest perpective from an anti apple user lol.
I won’t buy both, I will wait a good designed brand that has very good ANC and sound quality as well, otherwise, I am okay with my Sony.

Im sorry but the Galaxy Buds2 pro are terrible, I could hear my friend's song lyrics from across the room, when I used my airpods Pro 2 they could turn the volume all the way up and I could hear nothing from anyone's ears, I have the Galaxy S22 Ultra but I still prefer the Airpod pro 2 over anything so far, sound leakage is a deal-breaker for me, the anc and transparency modes were also worse on the Galaxy buds, along with the controls, but this is just my opinion 😂
